My purpose for this guide is to help you complete Trine 2 with a 100% game experience via a step-by-step walkthrough. It will cover all Experience locations, as well as the Collectible Poems and Paintings. I do my best to make these walkthroughs with as few spoilers as possible, so they have limited in-game event descriptions and are designed to guide you, not play the game for you.

The controls for Trine 2 are a bit different from the first Trine game, mostly due to new abilities, but the remainder of the controls are a typical platformer game scheme.

Trine 2 is an adventure game with platforming elements in which you navigate multiple stages with a set of three characters, each with their own weapons and abilities, that you can switch between at any time to solve numerous puzzles. As you progress you'll encounter numerous enemies and fight different bosses as you try save the kingdom from an unknown threat.
There are three characters in Trine 2, each with their own weapons and abilities: Amadeus is a wizard, who can conjure objects that are often used to solve puzzles and reach high areas; Pontius is a knight, who carries a sword & shield or hammer and is the brute force of the group, often fighting enemies or shielding the group from hazards; and the final character is a thief named Zoya, who carries a bow with multiple types of arrows that can grapple and swing to reach locations.
Each character has an ability tree, with abilities that can be purchased for a set amount of ability points, gained by collecting 50 experience points of either level experience or monster experience.
In the upper left corner is the character portrait of each character, with the character you are using highlighted compared to the other two. Each character has a red bar under their portrait, which indicates the character's current Health Points (HP). Each character has their own status and when their HP reaches zero they will die and their portrait will be replaced with a skull and bones. While dead a character is not accessible and will remain dead until you reach a checkpoint to revive them. If all characters die you must return to the last checkpoint or restart the level, depending on your difficulty mode.
Each character has their own abilities that make them better for certain situation, such as Zoya's ability to grapple wooden objects to reach high areas or pass over objects. In addition, each character can swim underwater, but are limited to how long they can hold their breath by a blue bar that appears below the character HP and slowly empty. Once the blue bar is depleted the character will drown and be inaccessible, but each character has their own breath bar.

Once the storyteller finishes his opening dialogue you can run around freely, so head out the door to the right and continue until you reach two mushrooms. You'll want to jump onto the mushrooms and then wait for the bubble to appear on the right to appear before you jump onto it. As the bubble rises you'll see a shining orb, this is the first Level Experience you can get in the game, so jump to it and then quickly jump up the the mushroom next to it.
Grab the Level Experience in the air, to the right of the next mushroom, and then use your magic to pull the platform in the sky, dropping another Level Experience. You can now drop to the ground and move the boulder to the left, but make sure to jump up above the boulders previous location to pull a mushroom cap down for another Level Experience.
Make your way under the platform for a Level Experience and then grab the mushroom cap to the left, which drops the Level Experience on it. Follow the on screen instructions to create a box by the cliff, which allows you to jump up to another Level Experience and spot two more. The Level Experience on the swing can be gained by grabbing the swing and moving it toward you, while the other will require you to create a box to jump on the swing as it comes comes toward you to reach the other Level Experience in the sky.
Continue right to a large log and create a box to act as a counter weigh on the left to reach the mushroom, which has a Level Experience directly above it that ca be gained by putting a box on the next of the mushroom, but be careful since the box may end up too low to reach the orb or it will fall off to the left. Once you get the final experience you can head to the right to complete Amadeus' section.
Make your way to the right, slashing the vines with your sword, and grab the Level Experience on your way to the oversized pumpkin, which you can use to reach the Level Experience x3 above. On the other side, angle yourself to the right as you hop off the pumpkin to get another Level Experience floating in the sky and then push the straw cart to reach the Level Experience x2 before attacking the vine holding the water wheel to reach another Level Experience.
Fall down the hole on the other side and then switch your weapon to Pontinus' Hammer to break the wall blocking your path. Continue right, shielding yourself from the falling rocks by holding his shield above his head, and you'll eventually reach the final Level Experience x2 and complete Pontius' story...for now.
Infiltrate the city wall to the right by jumping up the mushrooms and then cross the rope, where you'll need to shoot down the heavy block to continue. The lamp post in front of you has a Level Experience, which can be obtained by shooting the board from below, and then jump the gap to a large drop. Grapple the wood platform to swing to the Level Experience x2 and then drop down a level and grapple multiple platforms for the Level Experience x3 before dropping on an angled rooftop that leads to another Level Experience.
At the front of the church you'll need to grapple the platforms to make your way up, getting a Level Experience on the way. As you grab the Level Experience above the clock turn around and grapple the platform behind you to find the final Level Experience on top, so make sure to get it before jumping into the tower to complete the chapter.
You can now change characters at any time, so go ahead and switch to Amadeus to pull down the mushroom cap to the left for a Level Experience. Head back to the right, switching to Zoya, and grapple the swinging log above you to grab a Level Experience in the air and another Level Experience on the plant leaf. Using Amadeus, move the static log on the right enough that you can jump to it for a Level Experience and then jump to another plant leaf with a Level Experience.
Jump off the plant leaf to grab the Level Experience high in the sky and the Level Experience x2 near the checkpoint, but instead of continuing past the checkpoint go back to the left. Grab the Level Experience on top of the log and then jump down, getting the Level Experience in the air, where you'll find a Level Experience on a crate and another Level Experience behind some wooden planks that Pontius needs to attack.
Return to the checkpoint and switch to Pontius' Hammer to smash the nearby statue for a Level Experience and then continue to some sparkling plants on the ground. Switch to Amadeus to pull the left side of the suspended log down and change the waters flow to grow the first plant, also dropping a Level Experience, and then grab the leaf nearby and drag it left to get the water to the second plant.
Ignore the mushrooms for now and continue right, using your weight to switch the direction of the log on the ground, and then pull the suspended log down to make the water flow to the new sparkling plant. Make sure to switch to Pontius to hit the wooden planks holding a Level Experience in the right corner of the area and then use the suspended log and mushrooms to collect Level Experience x10.
Once you have double checked that you've gotten all the experience orbs you can continue right to the solid upper level for another Level Experience and break down the wooden wall with Pontius. Hop over the gaps in the floor while grabbing the Level Experience and then hit the stone, which will cause the floor beams to break and drop you to another Level Experience. Switch to Pontius' Hammer at the checkpoint to break the weak wall, dropping a Level Experience, and then continue to the next area, where you can switch to Zoya to grapple and swing up on top of both platforms for Level Experience x2 as the narration warns of enemies approaching.
This will be your first encounter with enemies, but if you switch to Pontius and use his shield to block the spears thrown at you while hitting any enemy in range you will make quick work of them and gain the Monster Experience x4.
Head back indoors to a wooden platform for a Level Experience and then jump to the new platform that raises as the other lowers, use a box to keep the platform down and for height to jump to the raised one if needed. Grab the Level Experience at the checkpoint and instead on continuing right shove the wooden box into the spikes to the upper left and use Zoya to swing up on top of it for the Level Experience x2, a large Level Experience x5, and a health potion.
Back at the checkpoint, create a box to block the fire from the plant or use Pontius' shield to get the Level Experience as you run across the area and then strike the wooden beams above with Pontius to drop the boulder and Level Experience x2. Head over the seesaw, collecting the Level Experience in the air, and then continue right on the lower level to break the two crates for Level Experience x2 and kill an enemy at the end for a Monster Experience.
Return to the seesaw platform and head up to the left for break a statue with a Level Experience inside, which you can break with Pontius' Hammer, and then grapple the wooden platform above and swing up for another Level Experience. If you jump to the right and jump again as soon as you touch the wall you'll reach a higher ledge with Level Experience x2 and your first Collectible Painting.
If you drop down on the right you'll land on a collapsible platform with a Level Experience and then you can jump to the checkpoint, where an enemy will pop out for an easy Monster Experience. There is a Level Experience x2 in the sky above the checkpoint, so hop on the boulder as it approaches Level Experience on the next collapsible platform as you continue right.
Defeat the enemies in the area for Monster Experience x5 and then grapple the top wooden platform to the left, near the swinging boulder, for a Level Experience. You can now walk across the top of the middle platform to the right side of the area, grapple the wooden platform above to drop a Level Experience, and then collect the Level Experience x2 below. If you look carefully you'll notice a Level Experience trapped behind some wooden beams in the upper right corner, but it is too high up to hit with Pontinus' sword. Instead of trying to reach the experience directly, you'll need to drop in front of the plant and use Pontius' shield to angle the fireballs up into the wooden beams to drop the experience down to you.
Grab the Level Experience on the other side of the plant before you hit the checkpoint and then use Pontius' Hammer to break the wall on the right for a Level Experience. Break the next wall to fall down and collect the Level Experience x2 and then use Pontius' shield to block the firebolts as you run across the area, jump up to grab the Level Experience x6, and then pull the lever. You can then return on foot or choose to restart from the last checkpoint in to menu to get back to the area that has just changed.
Grab the Level Experience x2 that dropped when the platform was lowered and then climb up to reach another Level Experience x2. As you exit the building to the right a boulder above begins to fall, so duck back into the checkpoint and when it passes you can kill the monster above. Make sure to collect the Level Experience x3, including the one above the ledge, and then follow the path of the boulder and hop over it to slide down to some bouncy mushrooms.
Start by heading right to kill the enemy for a Monster Experience and then crush the statue with Pontius' Hammer for a Level Experience. Return to the middle mushroom and grapple up to the plant leaf for a Level Experience and then hop on the log. If you move the log with Amadeus you should be able to jump into the air and grab the Level Experience x3 and land where the bubbles rise from, using the bubble to reach the upper ledge with a Collectible Poem.
Directly below the checkpoint are some wooden beams blocking the Level Experience x2 and next to that is a crate with another Level Experience, both of which can be obtained with Pontius. You can now switch to Zoya and grapple the left side of the suspended log, dropping a Level Experience, and then climb up to grab the remaining Level Experience x3. To continue make sure the water is flowing left and then use Amadeus and the log to your left to bridge the gap between the water and the sparkling plant for a scene that will cause the large snail to move.
Run past the short scene with the tail of a snake and then kill the two archers for their Monster Experience x2 before using the bouncy mushroom to reach the Level Experience x2 above. In order to reach the highest leaf, holding the Level Experience x5, create a box on top of the mushroom and use it as a platform to jump to the leaf. Pull the lever to temporarily raise the bridge, and drop a Level Experience, and then break the log free with Pontius for another Level Experience. You can now head down to collect the Level Experience in the air by the bridge, the Level Experience on the crate, and the experience in the water that dropped from the bridge.
There are numerous experience orbs in the sky, so use the bubbles and Amadeus' boxes to manipulate their placement as they rise to collect the Level Experience x3. Once you have collected all the experience, jump to the other side of the area for the Level Experience by the bridge and then use Zoya to grapple a platform above the exit for another Level Experience. Before leaving, make sure to swing up onto the small platform for another Level Experience.
If you are playing on a newer platform you may be unable to manipulate bubbles while Amadeus is on them. This is due to updates to the game to prevent Multiplayer from being too easy by simply levitating anything another person is on.
To fix this you can check your Settings or Options to see if there is a Player Levitation option and turn it On, but note that not all systems retain this option.
Grab the Level Experience x2 at the checkpoint and then push the large rock onto the enemy below before defeating the remaining enemies to gain Monster Experience x4. and then use Amadeus to get the Level Experience in the sky and Pontius' Hammer for the Level Experience inside the statue.
The plants prevent you from taking the ground across the area, so grapple the cart above and swing up for a Level Experience. You can now move the cart with Amadeus and collect the Level Experience at the end, as well as the Level Experience below.
Above the next checkpoint is a Level Experience that you can strike down with Pontius, but be careful because if you proceed too far to the right you'll encounter a number of enemies that must be killed for Monster Experience x6. Once all the enemies are killed, create a box with Amadeus to proceed and grapple the platform straight ahead to reach the Level Experience on top. You can now cross the collapsible platforms below, grabbing the Level Experience, and then switch to Pontius and use his shield to protect yourself from the plant while aiming the fireball at the nearby archer for another Monster Experience.
Make sure to get the Level Experience x3 above the plant's location before you reach the checkpoint, entering an area with some pipes that are great for gaining two Trophies/Achievements:
- Cirque de Zoya - Grapple and swing 360 degrees around the small log with a candle on it and reattach without touching any surface.
- Surfboard Master - Stand on a plank floating on a single airflow for 4 seconds (requires that you unlocked Plank)
To continue you'll need to attack the vine holding the curved pipe and then attached it to the lower airflow, aiming it up. This should allow you to get the Level Experience x3 in the sky, if you haven't already obtained them with Zoya, and you can then reach the ledge on the right for Level Experience x2, but don't head off without collecting the large Level Experience x5 high in the sky via a box. You can now continue right to the next checkpoint and the final boss room, where the huge snake from earlier awaits.
The object of this fight is to get the snake to destroy the ceiling supports when it tries to bite you, but don't wait too long or you'll get eaten and don't walk past the lowest platform or he will kill you instantly. Start the fight by grappling to the top of the area for the Level Experience x2, before any platforms are destroyed, and then focus on getting the snake to arch it's head back to prepare an attack before you move.
If you want to avoid the hassle, Zoya's Fire Arrows have the ability to destroy the supports and get the job done quicker.
Make your way past the beehive, which you can shoot down with Zoya's arrows, and then grapple the hanging wooden crate to collect the Level Experience x3 before shooting the crate down and breaking it with Pontius for another Level Experience.
As you continue right some enemies will pop out and you can drop the beehive above the archer to make progress toward the "I Didn't Do It" Trophy/Achievement, gained by defeating enemies with 3 different environment objects. Kill the remaining enemies for the Monster Experience x2 and then collect the Level Experience on the spinning platform above you. There is another Level Experience x2 above the spinning platform, which will stop after being turned clockwise enough, so create a box on the right side to jump up.
Before you head right you'll want to take note of the purple spiked plant on the underside of the platform, which indicates that the top side is a button that will cause a trap to trigger. Head right to collect the Level Experience x2 before you activate the button, which will cause a large log to come swinging from the right, and then jump on the front of the as it passes to carry you up to another Level Experience. Don't miss the Level Experience x2 above this platform on a spinning platform, which you can grapple, and then return down to the large log and grab the Level Experience you ignored and drop down for another Level Experience before continuing to the checkpoint.
The platform to the right of the checkpoint is another button that activates two swinging logs, so press it to kill the archer and create a walkway of suspended logs to collect the Level Experience x3. You can now return to the checkpoint, drop down to break some wooden beams blocking a Level Experience, and then walk right to collect another Level Experience x3 before reaching the checkpoint.
Defeat all the enemies for the Monster Experience x6 and then grapple up to the Level Experience x2 on the leftmost platform before you grapple the platform to the upper right for another Level Experience.
Continue right and grapple up to the platform with the wheel and grab the Level Experience x3, one of which requires you to break some wooden beams with Pontius, before you drop back to the lower level. Switch to Amadeus and pull the lever, moving the stone block above, and then drag the block back into the wheel to prevent it for spinning all the way back.
Above the checkpoint is a platform with a Level Experience inside a crate, so bring it down with Amadeus and then crack it open before you continue to the next area.
Start by creating a box or plank on the first airflow and use it to get at least the closest Level Experience in the sky and then drop down and break the wooden beams in the bottom right corner to reveal a new area with two flames that prevent you from simply walking in. Pull the curved pipe off the top flame and use it to direct the bottom flame upward, allowing you to walk under and grab the Level Experience x5 below.
Bring the curved pipe into the main area and place it on the right airflow, facing right, and then pull the straight pipe off the left airflow and place it to the right as well. You can then use the last curved pipe to make the airflow go up, pushing the bridge up, and then grapple up to collect the Level Experience x5 above it and in the air. Finally, create a box on the bridge, since a wooden one is too heavy, and jump to the large Level Experience x5 you couldn't reach before.
Defeat the enemies in the next area for the Monster Experience x2 and then jump up to the left platform for another Level Experience. Above the middle platform are some wooden beams blocking Level Experience x2, so use a box and Pontius to hit them down and then jump off to the right to continue.
Once you drop you'll have to defeat an enemy, though no experience will be gained, and then you can head toward the left to find a hidden area for Level Experience x2. Use the two stone blocks in the area to block the last two flames and then carefully cross the flames to collect the Level Experience x2 before jumping the wall.
Clear of the flames, you can now focus on the experience in the above area by grappling the spinning platform above, dropping a crate and a Level Experience. Switch to Amadeus to drag the moveable platform right and then collect the Level Experience to the left before building a pile of crates to reach the Level Experience x7 high above.
As you enter the next area a fruit will fall from above, causing the large frog to stick out its tongue and catch it. Although this is the trick to moving forward, you'll want to hop into the water and swim down to collect the Level Experience x2 below before coming back up. Return to the surface and use Zoya to shoot another fruit down and this time you can jump on his tongue to run across to the other side, collecting the Level Experience x2 above the frog's back.
Hop into the water on the other side of the frog and check the left underwater path for Level Experience x2, followed by the right for Level Experience x9 and a Collectible Poem.
Return to the checkpoint on the other side of the frog and remove the two beehives either by moving them with Amadeus or shooting them down, avoiding them from falling on your head when you walk over the buttons below. More monsters will attack on the other side, netting you Monster Experience x5, and then you can grapple all the way to the top of the area to spot the Level Experience x2 on the wooden platform to the right and the Level Experience sitting on the stone platform below.
Before continuing, make sure to drop to the ground and kill the enemy that was on the other side of the stone wall for a Monster Experience and then use the bouncy mushroom to gather the Level Experience x3 on the three stone platforms above the flame. You can now grapple up to the wooden platform on the upper right for a Level Experience and then collect another Level Experience in the air above another bouncy mushroom.
Continue right and make sure to get the Level Experience on the stone platform before grappling up to the wooden platform with Level Experience x2. Shoot down the beehive below the next platform to defeat the archer below, gaining a Monster Experience, and then drop down and kill another archer for another Monster Experience. Check to the left of the flame for a curved pipe and use it to direct the flame into the water, which will then create bubbles. You can now use the bubbles to reach the platforms above with Level Experience x6.
To the right is another set of bubbles and Level Experience x3, which you can easily gather, and then drop to the ground and head all the way right to spot the Level Experience x2 behind in a small alcove behind an airflow, which you can get by creating a small box and pulling them out.
Hop on the bubbles rising up and wait for the airflow to push you right, or use Amadeus' boxes, to reach the upper level and defeat a bunch of enemies for Monster Experience x7. Collect the Level Experience on the upper platform and the Level Experience x2 behind the flame before jumping off the left platform into a hidden passage, containing Level Experience x9 and a Collectible Painting.
You can now return to the main area and use Amadeus and the curved pipes to burn the beehive, gather the Level Experience, pull the lever, and exit the level.
As you make your way right you'll come to a gap with poisonous gas and some wooden beams blocking Level Experience x2, so break them open with Pontius and then time your jumps across the gap to avoid the fireballs from the plant, while also collecting the Level Experience x2.
Continue right until an enemy drops from the ceiling for a Monster Experience and then grapple up to a hidden area for Level Experience x2. Use Amadeus' boxes to block what you can and then use Pontius' shield or Zoya's Fire Arrows to break the wooden planks above for Level Experience x2. You can now grab the Level Experience x8 in the open before returning down to the level below.
Back on the main path, push one of the wooden crates into the spiked plant above to allow Zoya to grapple across and then fall into the log to collect a Level Experience as you slide down. Kill the enemies on the other side for Monster Experience x2 and then collect the Level Experience near the checkpoint, where another monster with a Monster Experience will jump out.
Instead of heading right jump across the collapsible platforms to the left for Level Experience x5, one of which is on a lower ledge where an archer was, and then open the chest for the Collectible Poem. If you look to the right you'll now see the Level Experience x2 above, so create a plank or box with Amadeus and use it to bridge the gap as it falls.
Head back to the checkpoint and stack a few boxes so that you are high enough to jump to the Level Experience x4, killing the archer on the other side for a Monster Experience, and then grapple up to another Level Experience. You can now break the wooden beams or the breakable wall to drop a Level Experience and create a plank in the spiked plant to reach the Level Experience x4 hidden up above, followed by a fifth Level Experience near the checkpoint.
As you jump across the collapsible platforms a spike will swing down, just before the Level Experience x2, and on the other side are numerous enemies that drop Monster Experience x7. Once it's clear, grapple to the Level Experience above the spiked water and then head right to collect the Level Experience x2 before moving the curved pipe out of the wall to reveal a hidden path.
Collect the Level Experience x4 in the air and water and then create a box above the collapsible platform on the left to raise the bridge on the right and jump across to the Level Experience x7 and Collectible Painting. Return outside and use the two curved pipes to send the airflow into the water, creating bubbles, and collect the Level Experience x3 above. Collect the Level Experience x2 to the left of the checkpoint and then use the bubbles and Amadeus' boxes to collect the Level Experience x8 as you jump into the large log above.
Exit the other side of the log and create a box to allow you to jump on top of the log for the Level Experience x3 and then return to the suspended log to collect the Level Experience in the air. You'll need to weigh down the suspended log and the log on the ground so the water flows to the sparkling plant to and then use the bouncy mushrooms to reach the Level Experience x10 above.
Drop into the gap after the checkpoint and break open some wooden beams on the left for a Level Experience and then create two planks above the plants to block the fireballs, allowing you to easily cross above and collect the Level Experience x2.
The next area has a swinging spike that you'll need pass under, but on the other side you have to fight numerous enemies for Monster Experience x6 and a Level Experience that will drop when the wooden platform is destroyed. After the area is clear, push a box into the spikes on the right to create a safe area and then grab the Level Experience as you climb up the platforms.
There is a swinging spike above you, but instead of heading under it you'll want to grab it and stop it before you grapple to the box shoved into the spike and hop up to the platform, landing to the right of the spikes. You can now create a plank on top of the spike and move it left to collect the Level Experience x3 above. You can now return to the box in the spike and pass under the other spike as it swings by, collecting the Level Experience on the other side.
Drop down in the next area, collecting the Level Experience x2, and then weigh down the left side of the wooden platform with a box. Drop down again, this time attacking the left wall with Pontius to find a hidden room with Level Experience x5 and then attack the wooden crate on the right side for a Level Experience. You can now weigh down the left side of the other log and pull the leaf left to grow the sparkling leaf, creating a pathway above.
At the checkpoint, create a box to gain enough height to collect the Level Experience x2 while jumping to the leaf and then collect the Level Experience on the other side before killing the enemies for Monster Experience x2. You can now break the wooden beams and slide down into a boss area.
The Bonecrusher uses a a spiked mace and will kill you in one hit, but luckily there is a checkpoint inside the arena that will allow you to refresh any dead characters mid fight. Switch by Zoya and use the wooden ceiling on the far right and left edges of the area to avoid the Bonecrusher's attacks and hopefully get his mace stuck in the ground, allowing you to switch to Pontius and get in some heavy attacks. Repeat this pattern until he is dead and collect the Monster Experience x5 and Level Experience from the area before pulling the lever.
The final area is covered in poisonous gas, so avoiding the ground is the most important part. Start by grabbing the Level Experience on top of the contraption and then use multiple boxes and plants to cross to the right, grappling the small wooden beam above as soon as you can to collect the Level Experience x9. You can now swing off to the right and carefully exit the level.
Head right until you reach the room with a cauldron and collect the Level Experience above you by using one of the bubbles. You'll now need to ride a bubble all the way up for another Level Experience in the air and then manipulate a bubble to reach the other Level Experience in the air to the right. There is a book on the stand that you can read to learn about the sister, Isabel and Rosabel, and then continue to the room after the checkpoint.
If you look up as soon as you enter the room you'll notice a Level Experience inside a wooden crate. There are two ways to reach this: the first is by making boxes with Amadeus so that Pontius can reach it with his sword and the other is by using a Fire Arrow.
Once collected, grab the metal boulder on the right side of the room and throw it into the blue mirror, which acts as a portal and causes the boulder to land on a button. You can now collect the Level Experience by the exit before you continue.
The next room contains a large spider that you can kill for a Monster Experience x2 and then enter the next room with two cauldrons, one of which is inactive. Unfold the floor panels in the middle of the room and collect the Level Experience x2 and then use both curved pipes to shoot the flame into the floor to collect another Level Experience. You can now use the curved pipes to heat the cauldron, allowing it to create bubbles.
Ride the left bubble up to the levers for Level Experience x3 and then move the left portal all the way up so that you can ride the bubbles up further and collect the other Level Experience x2. Return to the levers and move the left portal all the way down and the right portal low enough that you can jump onto the bubbles when they exit, allowing you to collect the Level Experience x7.
Head to the right cauldron and ride the bubble up, jumping across the collapsible platform with Pontius to avoid the fireballs, and then create a plank on the button to hold the rotating gate open. You can now collect the Level Experience in the wooden crate and then grapple up to another Level Experience x2 above you.
Use the portal levers to move both portals to the top and then create two boxes to get the Level Experience on the metal pipe. You'll now need to create a box and drop it into one of the portals and jump between it, as it passes from one portal to the other, to collect the Level Experience x4 in the air and cross to the other side.
Hit the button to pass under the rotating gate and then defeat all the monsters for Monster Experience x8 and then break the wooden crates on the other side of the area for Level Experience x2. Grapple up to the wooden platforms and jump across them, collecting the Level Experience x3 and then create a box to get the final Level Experience that is too high. You can now head back to the right and shoot an arrow through the gate, hitting the rope holding up a platform with a crate, to open the gate and collect the Level Experience.
The next room has two spinning wheels with flame shooting from the center, making it hard to cross with anyone other than Pontius. Switch to Pontius and raise his shield to protect you while you grab the Level Experience and then continue right to collect another Level Experience. Use the right lever to move the portal under the fire, but leave the other portal up in the left corner so you can jump over the cauldron and continue right, breaking the wooden beams on the floor to drop into a secret area.
Getting to the other side of this area is close to impossible without being able to create 3 items with Amadeus, so reset your abilities if needed. Create a plank on the floor and weigh the left side down with a box, moving it to the right so that it hangs over the ledge, and then create another plank and lean it sideways to create a walkway between the plank and the platform with the Level Experience x3 and Collectible Painting.
Return to the portal levers and move the left portal to heat the cauldron, creating bubbles, and then return left past the flames to grapple up to get the Level Experience above. Grapple up again to another Level Experience and then break through the wooden crates for a Level Experience hiding on the other side before you head back right to a spinning platform. Use the spinning platform to reach the Level Experience and then use the bubbles to pass over the cauldron to the next room.
Switch to Pontius as soon as you walk into the trap and block the flames as you move to the right side of the room, where you can then switch to Amadeus and spin the right flaming dragon away from the middle of the room. With only one flame facing the lever you should now have enough time to pull the lever and exit the room collecting a Level Experience that drops from above the doorway.
Exit outside and cross the area for a Level Experience and then defeat all the enemies when they enter for Monster Experience x7. The underside of the ground is actually wooden and can be grappled, so drop down and collect the Level Experience x6 below and then grapple up to the first platform for another Level Experience. You can now hop to the second platform and create two boxes on the first platform to reach the Level Experience in the treetops before leaving to the right, killing one last enemy for another Monster Experience.
In the library, drop to the ground and head to the left of the bouncy object for a hidden room with Level Experience x2 and then bounce on the object to get a Level Experience in the air. Make sure to grapple the wooden platform above, swinging up to get the Level Experience x2, and then swing right to the other side of the room to find the Level Experience x2 and a Collectible Poem.
Pass the checkpoint to the next room and kill the large spider for Monster Experience x2 before you shoot the rope holding the wooden step up. Hop up the step and grapple the wooden platform above, collecting the Level Experience in the air and the Level Experience x5 on the platform, and then kill another large spider.
Large spiders that are in the air can be shot by a fully charged Frozen Arrow, causing them to freeze and then drop to their death.
Use the collapsible platforms to reach the Level Experience on the wall divider and then time your jumps to pass under the fireballs, using Pontius to block them. Make sure to grab the Level Experience on the wooden platform above and then create a plank and drop it into the spike, allowing you to drop down without taking damage.
The cauldron in the next area is having its bubbles popped by the spinning flames, but ignore that for now and collect the Level Experience below the spinning flame. You can now use the metal in the center of the spinning flame to reach the Level Experience x2 above the spinning flames, continuing right to find a hidden room.
Collect the Level Experience x2 and then backtrack to the portal levers, moving the right portal over the cauldron and the left portal as close to the ground as possible. Create two boxes and when a bubble passes through the portal jump on it to reach the Level Experience on the ledge above. You can now manipulate the bubbles with Amadeus to collect the Level Experience x7 high above and then cross to the right side of the area.
Break the wooden crate on the ground for a Level Experience and then jump up on the right platform for another Level Experience. The two platforms are counter-weighed, meaning that if one is lowered than the other will raise, so hop multiple times to balance them in the middle and then create a box on the left platform with Amadeus, raising it up and allowing you to get the Level Experience x3.
Break the box on the left platform to return to the right platform and weigh down the left platform to raise you up. When you press the button on the floor the gate will spin, allowing you to pass under it, and then place a plank on the button to allow you to collect all the Level Experience x3 before pulling the lever and exiting the level.
