How do you execute Chun-Li Super Combo?

  1. I try using Chun-Li's super combo but it just won;t activate. The long line(---->) pointing opposite of the command (<-- +kick) has something to do with it but I don't know what.?

  2. Do you press the kick button as you mke the last forward motion or when you press back? I don't really want to rely solely on luck to pull this move off.

Accepted Answer

  1. Practice in the challenge mode. Are you able to do her fireball? If so, its very similar to that. You charge back, for approximately 2 seconds, then quickly move forward, back, forward + Kick. A normal charged move is charge back then forward + button, so if you have that one down, its only a matter of moving your finger fast enough.

  1. -Go into practice mode.

    -Turn on the input display.

    -Follow the advice above.

-Check to see if you're accurate with the directions or not.

-Practice until you are, checking to see what you're doing wrong.

-Common mistakes for this type of move are:
*Pressing diagonally on the final foward motion, resulting in a miss. (Some moves can be done with an up diagonal, some can't. I'm fairly certain that moves like this will miss on a down diagonal.)
*Pressing up diagonally on any of the back or forward motions, resulting in am accidental jump.
*Pressing the button too early or too late resulting in a different move coming out, instead of the intended one.
*Athough you asked about the Super, the Ultra can be missed by hitting less than three buttons simultaneously. (That is if you do it manually.)

  2. Hold back (or down/back) for 2 seconds or so then quickly press forward, back, forward + Kick button.
