What lvl do you recommend your party to be to beat Baal?

  1. I have a few party members in the late 3000's but it seems that Baal is a little bit too hard for me. How many high lvl people do you recommend and at what lvl

  2. I know that it is important to have a fist fighter, healer, mage, and other strong characters, i.e. Mao, Almaz, ect. In fact, my healer and mage both have offensive and defensive magic to support my fighters. Any other suggestions?

  3. Thanks for the tip, Klay. I was aware that your equipment made a big difference for your stats, but I didn't know that you can increase them THAT much. I mostly just powered leveled my @$$ off but this tip helps a lot.

  1. It's more of an equipment problem than a level problem, since equipments make about 80% of your stats in terms of power. So, you'll just basically need to hunt for good items in the Item World (preferrably Legendary ones) and start levelling them up. A good one would be a Legendary Testament, supported with a Guardian. To get a Guardian, you need to Reverse Pirate for it.

To get Reverse Pirating option, you need to find a Pirate in the Item World by waiting one turn after Floor 2X, where X is 2-9. After finding a pirate, destroy everyone on the map and obtain both the Illegal Ticket and ship. When that's done, you now have the option of passing a topic called [PPP]. Once you pass that topic, place at least one character in it and go talk to your Item Worlder. You should see an option called Reverse Pirating. Now, find and choose a low ranked item (Legendaries are better), and Reverse Pirate at either Floor 60, 80, or 100 because Guardians are more likely to appear than say Floor 20 or 40. You can take your chances, but it'll take a while, and generally not worth your time.

Once you claw and bite your way to obtain a power of 500 Guardians, place it on your Testament and the stats should be boosted by quite a bit, probably boosting your stats around 500,000 to 1,000,000. Still not enough to tank Baal, but it's a start.

  1. I'd say that as long as you have 2 or 3 characters with at LEAST 500k in your main attack stats and hit. Tactics you'll want to employ in this fight, unless you're overgeared and overleveled, are basically 'kill before getting killed'. He can hit you for 5-7 million damage easily, so you'll want to not get hit at all, if possible. Use sacrificial characters to lift your main attackers to avoid having them killed. Healers are useless since everyone will likely die by a single hit. It helps if you steal his Makai Wars too (which is an excellent accessory, by the way) since his stats will drop significantly. At this point in the game, you can basically give up on having enough defences to survive his attacks, as it's little more than a waste of time you could have spent better on killing him. The level 4000 Baal shouldn't be very hard to kill as long as you've got a decent offence. He's just a stepping stone, and soon enough, you'll be able to beat the much more powerful level 8000 version with a single normal hit. :)
    Good luck.
