A fresh idea that falls short on all fronts

The idea of a first person free running game sounded fun and even looked fun running around rooftops at high speeds but you soon find out that the game is frustrating and repetitive.

This game is set in the future where media controls people more than today and all messages people send are read by the government. It is like Fahrenheit 451 on a much smaller scale and not much of a purpose. Since the government people look at all messages people use "runners" to deliver mail. The story is terrible and doesn't give you a reason to care for the characters at all. 2/10

Running and jumping around rooftops at high speed is a lot of fun but it only lasts about 10 seconds. In every level you run to a specific building that always has the same green interior and the same green elevator. As you are running around the cops will come and start shooting at you and most the time a helicopter comes. You aren't Rambo so if you get shot, you're dead. Having the cops on your ass shooting at you while you are trying to run gets very annoying because the second you stop to find out where to go you get shot and you die. At some points you will actually have to fight the cops by disarming them then killing off the rest with their gun. The way you disarm someone is by pressing the Triangle button when they do their lame animation to hit you. When they go to hit you their gun turns red and that is when you disarm them but if you actually wait until the gun turns red you are already to late, you have to hit the button right before the gun turns red or else you die. This game is complete trial and error but there is little to no satisfaction once you get it right. Usually when you do finally get it right you are likely to have done the same thing you did 10 tries before just this time you were lucky enough for your character to actually grab hold of what you're jumping for. Often you will get frustrated and decide to stop in the middle of the level, when you decide to give it a second try you will have to start back at the beginning of the level which just makes this game more frustrating. 4/10

This game has a unique look where all the buildings are in plain white but important objects are highlighted in red. At first the graphics are cool because you are seeing the world the way your character sees it but by the third level nothing seems to have changed. It feels like you are playing the same level over and over again. You will also find a ridiculous amount of screen tearing and sometimes you will have to stop in the middle of what you are doing for the level to load. 5/10

The game is repetitive and frustrating. It's not even worth picking it up out of the bargain bin
