  1. Wow, Okay, so these guys are using all the gambling options, but to be honest, you could still lose a lot. The best way is to just make Gil and buy the coins. Go to the Archylte Steppe and set it to sunny, go into the ditch furthest to the west and follow it all the way south, when you're in that southwestern corner you get in lots of fights with Moblins. These things drop a huge amount of essences worth 1k each and a probability to drop 3 power crystals worth over 4k each. With Battlemania fragment skill you can fight these things almost non stop. With a Collector Catalogue you'll raise your chances of getting the power crystals, but I was using a Durable Collector Catalogue and getting around 3-6 power crystals a fight(which lasts just a few seconds). Added to the fact that with the Collector Catalogue, the enemies will drop a base amount of 1k Gil, this is by far the best money making spot in the game. Even better than Raspatil, who may drop more cash, but at least the power crystals can be used by Odin or any other commando creature you have.

  1. Easy Casino Coins

To earn the trophy / achievement above, youll need to earn 10,000 casino coins at Serendipity.
The easiest way to earn Casino Coins is by using the Slot Machines. To play, find a machine and press [R1/RB] to insert a Casino Coin. Then press down to pull the lever. You can stop each of the reels individually with the face buttons on your controller.
You can also use the auto-play feature with [L1/LB].
If you want real money, youre going to want to bump up the machines mode to Victory or Super Victory Mode. In Super Victory Mode, youll spend 100 coins with each pull, but the payout vastly increases.
Before even starting, talk to a Casino Rep to understand more about machine Moods. Each time you visit Serendipity, the machines will randomly change Mood which has a signigicant effect on the machines payout.
With Moods in mind, give machines a few test runs. The two best possible moods are That machines on fire! and Its like a hot summers day! You definately want to wait, leave, or come back later to catch the machines in a Its like a hot summers day! mood before attempting to made big money.
You might have to make a few worthless attempts with the machines before you get a hot Mood but when you do, stick around and prepare to spend some Casino Coins.
With the best possible mood set, get some tape or a rubber band, and hold down the [L1/LB] buttons on your controller. Try to start with something like 15,000 Casino Coins to give yourself plenty of leeway. Leave it all night, or just a few hours. If youre lucky, youll gain a massive amount of Casino Coins. If youre unlucky, just give the rubber-band method another try. Youre bound to come out on top.
Even if you dont make lots of easy coin, you will come closer to unlocking a very difficult to find fragment called the Lucky Coin. This fragment can only be obtained once youve won over 7,777 Casino Coins in total on a Slot Machine in The Hall of Gaming.

  3. The Piggyback Games Guide suggests actually getting a good amount of coins in Chocobo Racing, since the machines can be a bit inconsistent and it might take time to get the coins you need.

  4. Best way is as follows.
Find the Silver Chocobo in Academia 4XX in the Research Lab on the green projector in the middle of the area.
Use only Potent Materials all the way to level 45. This will give it the 800 STR, 800 MAG, and 5000 HP it needs to have max Racing Stats.
Infuse a Lv1 Pulsework Gladiator (Steppe - Cloudy) for Second Wind (Boosts Blue Streak)
Infuse a Lv1 Cactuar (Steppe - Sunny) for Sprinter (+speed in 600m races)
*Optional*Infuse a Lv24Microchu (Steppe - Rainy) for Heath Nut and Marathoner

Now just set your chocobo to run in the back and save your boost until blue streak procs at the end. Boost and win. You can earn about 9000 coins over each time you use all RP. Look for the Dahaka Race in the top class for the Collector's catalog as it sells for 11k gil as well.

  6. This isn't about making about making Gil but earning the Lucky Coin Fragment. You can trade Gil for Coins to buy your way through 3 of the frags and the Chickochick Down is just waiting to be picked up. This frag you must win 10,000 coins by gambling either with Slots or Chocobo Races!

HA! I was reading this while having my L1 taped down for Slots and just got the Lucky Coin Fragment!! WooHoo!!

BTW, you can get this by playing both games. It keeps a total of how much you have won but not how much you spent. Hell, you could spend 13,000 coins to get 10,000 coin achievement. It only tracks what you are taking from the Casino and not what you put into it.

  7. Best way for me to win a lot of coin is to get a good amount of coin at the beginning like somewhere around 1000 coin. Check the machine if it doing good or not. The time the machine give the best odd is when it say "It's like a hot summer's day!". Auto-play give you 99% chance of winning while manual play would give 130%. Just do auto play until you hit victory mode and than do manual play the rest of the way giving you the best chance to get 777. I won over 10000 coin once I reach victory mode and went into super victory mode after that. That just me playing around for 10 minutes or so.

The best way overall is to win coin on chocobo race. Once you are on Episode 5, you can get a sliver chocobo by using a moogle throw at the center of the green sphere where you meet Hope. Raise it up and give it some abilities and you never lose. You can even lose on purpose to get even more coin in the Fal'Cie class race.

  8. the best way to get loads of casino coins is fully upgrade silver chocobo, silver chocobo can be found at acadamia in the building where Hope is just throw Mog at the green floating thing in center of building but on top of it.ok to continue just bet 100 coins on your chocobo but only take part in events that have collectors catalog or entite ring mainly collectors catalog and keep racing till you have to retire chocobo then sell all your collectors catalog and if you won loads of em you'll make a load of Gil but then u buy casino coins with the Gil you made and if you havent got as much as you needed keep racing. each COLLECTORS CATALOG CAN BE SOLD FOR 11,000 GIL but with the fragment skills that increases value of items to sell if you dont have the fragment skill dont worry its still the best way to get casino coins hope you do well
