Digital devil saga 1 new cycle?

  1. So i'm near the end of dds 1 I've beaten every optional bosses except Huang Long and I'd like to fight the superboss:Hitoshura (Demi-Fiend).So I know defeating some bosses gives you items in dds 2 and I'd like to know,will I have to defeat those bosses again in ng+ to get the items or not? Thanks for your answer.

  1. No, once you've defeated them once and as long as you're using the same completed save file from your memory stick, you don't need to fight them again to receive the items.

    Also, are you playing ng+ or is this your first play through? Because if I remember correctly you can only challenge hitoshura on a ng+.
