  • Artist and Character Designer Takayoshi Sato created and rendered all the CGI movies in the game by himself, usiing 150 Unix-based computers after his co-workers left work for the day. He did this because the Konami higher-ups refused to give him credit for his work otherwise, as Sato was a fairly new employee and did not have the respect within the company that older employees had.

  • The Hyper Blaster, which is unlocked when you earn the UFO Ending, is modeled after Konami's Justifier Light Gun controller for the Playstation. As a matter of fact, if you don't want to go through the trouble of getting the UFO Ending and you happen to have a Justifier, you can just have that bad boy hooked up to your console as you boot up the game and it will be automatically unlocked in-game!
