  1. When an enemy is about to attack you, press the aim button to dodge.

  2. Dodging was put in the game as a safe guard. While aiming if you try to attack the moment an enemy attacks you, you will instead dodge. It's not recomended but really helps agenst cebrus (zombie dogs), hunters (lizard monsters) and Nemesis (these names are the official Bio-Organic Weapon (BOW) names created by capcom(or umbrella acording to the story line)).
