  1. No, you must initially connect to battle.net to start the game.
    if you lose connection during the game, you can continue to play the single player campaign, however achievements will not be tracked.

  4. you MUST connect to battle.net in order to activate the game for singleplayer at least the first time,i dont know if you have to do it again once unlocked tho

  5. You must connect to Battlenet first when you're downloading, however you can play single player offline. You can even qualify for achievements. It says they're disabled, but if you reconnect to Battlenet later, it'll give them to you if you qualified for them offline. This is from experience (All-In mission, Normal Mode... Normal Mode Completionist & Raid Night achievements). It disconnected from Battlenet for some reason, & gave me the achievements later.
