What is the latest expansion of guild wars so far?

  1. I am thinking of buying Guild Wars but I want to make sure i buy the right stuff. What is the latest expansion and do I need to buy the original game plus/or the previous expansions to play it?

  1. Three of the Campaigns are stand-alone: Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall. The "latest" is Eye of the North. It is a true expansion that requires you own at least one of the other 3 campaigns. It is the only one that requires you to own anything else.

    The best buy for you will be one of the Trilogy packs...bundling them together at a discount.
