Video Quality ramdomly went to crap??

I've been looking everywhere online for someone who has an answer to something that's gone wrong with my game, but I've found nothing so far. Hopefully one of you can help me..? So basically the issue is a graphics problem. I noticed it right away upon lanch; all of the colors are washed out, and things that are bright literally glow. Keep in mind these are things that should not be glowing like the FromSoftware logo and the Dark Souls II text on the main screen to name a few. The FPS has also suffered a bit, it's worse than before. The strangest part is when I took screenshots to show what it looked like, they were totally fine! The screenshots looked completely normal; the way my game looked before this happened. I also know it's not my computer screen because everyting else looks great (including other steam games). I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that didn't do anything.
It's been a while since I've played DS2, probably about a month. It runs very well on my computer, on mid-high graphics (I have AMD Radeon R9 M200X Series graphics card). I've never had a problem before. Since I last played DS2, I've only played two games: Skyrim and the Long Dark (both of which ran fine). I also downloaded a bunch of mods on the NMM for Skyrim (I've been wondering if that has anything to do with it..?). On the Nexus Mod Manager, I tried to download mods for DS 2, but it didn't work, there was some kind of error; I don't even think there was a folder made for it.
