Mr. 47, here is your review
Just think about it for a little bit... a bald man... in a nice tuxedo... with a codebar on the back of his head... with lot's of guns... Nearly, if not, heaven!
This game gets you, a contract killer, travelling around the world murdering people... with style of course!
Now for the review:
Graphics very good. They have a good amount of details, being some of them the blinking eyes, and the moving lips when the charecters talk. The game has a fair view range. As for trees and alike, they are nice, you can actually see some leaves in kinds of trees. the splattered blood on the wall looks very nice... especially after the job is done. ;D
I gave this score because I can enjoy EAX and a surround system. Otherwise, it'd get a 7/10.
Gunfire sounds cool with a good sound card (i have SB Audigy 2). A good sound card, also enables EAX, wich makes the game sound more reallistic. For example if your running in a cave, you'l hear the echo of your footsteps, gunfire, you get the idea.
The music is absolutely fantastic... I LOVE THE MUSIC. It features music that is very well connected to the environment. From Russian patriot music, to the Afeganistan street music. very good indeed. Especially great if you happend to have a EAX compatible soundcard, and a 5.1 or 6.1 sound system.
Gameplay is nice. There are 3 dificulty settings. For the blood thirsty Mass Murderer is the lowest difficulty setting, But for the Silent Assassin himself, is the hardest. You can change uniforms with dead or unconscious enemies. Not every uniforms is unsuspecting, for example, for restricted areas you must find a high ranking officer uniform. Don't forget you must hide the bodies from guards or civilians, otherwise the alarm could be sounded. For that you can make use of bathrooms, sewers, backrooms of buildings, attics, you name it. You can get more stealth rating if you eleminate only the targets, not by comitting any unecessary kill. At all costs you must not kill any innocent people. It could damage the company rep. you know? :P
Replay Value: 7/10
The replay value depends of the player. if you're like me, who played the first game and loved it, and you like to play again in a higher difficulty setting then this should get a 9/10. Otherwise, this game is a good choice either way :P
This game will not let down any adventure/action/stealth lover. One of the best in the buisness!
Rating: 5.0 - Flawless
