A game that should be called a perfect port and better.
First off this is a review for Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and I will show what are the ups and downs of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. The Categories are graphics, sound, controls, gameplay, and the verdict.
Graphics: (10) The graphics are way better than the Playstation version or the Dreamcast Version. It is much more crisp and cleaner than the other two versions. The backgrounds are a lot more realistic and more believable than you would think. That is if you but it in a high resolution because it cleans it up drastically. The character models don't get any better than this for this game. The enemy models look awesome, they are of a greatest details and just as good as any other port of this game.
Sound: (8) The sound in this game are wonderful but not too wonderful. It is kind of cool and it puts you into the suspense of the game. The coolest kind of music in the game of Resident Evil 3 is the Nemesis music, it puts you in the most suspense in any game, and if you run into another door Nemesis music will still be with you. The voices are very realistic, Jill sound like Jill, and Carlos sounds like a Carlos. The zombie moans and groans and the other enemies should sound like they should be.
Controls: (9) What can I say about the controls? I will tell you, they are way better than the PSX or the DC, you can choose any controls you want, even though it is a keyboard, who cares? If you wan something else, you can always have a joystick with you if you don't like the keyboard.
Gameplay: (10) This is simply the best feature in the game. You are Jill and you must fight hoards of zombies and other frightening creatures. You are equipped with numerous weapons such as a shotgun or a magnum, or even the most powerful of them all, the rocket launcher. You also have to find a lot of items and solve many puzzling puzzles. This is the best part of any game.
Verdict: (9) My verdict for this game is a solid 9. This game has everything a game needs to be called great, it has action and adventure, and a lot of puzzles to keep you busy for at least a couple of weeks.
Rating: 4.5 - Outstanding
