Is it true that in-game music is broken in all Sold-Out Software -releases?

  1. There are also rumours that this also applies to Tomb Raider II Sold-Out Software -releases.

Accepted Answer

  1. There are two Sold-Out Software -releases of the game: the one that contains only the first game and the one of which has also Tomb Raider II included.

I have tested all of them, also both Tomb Raider II -CD's.

    TR1:

    - Both releases contained CD's labeled as "sov. 2.1" and music is broken on both of them. You will only get empty CD tracks, if you buy one of these.
    - Note: these discs also contain all released 3D-patches.

    TR2:

    - Both releases contained CD's labeled as "sov. 2.2" and music is fully working on both of them.
    - Note: these discs also contain the latest update.

So, if you are planning to buy either or both of these games as Sold-Out Software -release(s), please ask seller first about her / his own experience or about the markings on the discs. If the game(s) is / are not wrapped, you can ask seller to play the CD-tracks of the disc(s) before buying.
