Common 3-Star Challenges

Staff Morale? Are You Kidding Me?

Ah yes, if I think back to a harder number to get all right, staff morale is definitely up there. There are many things to consider overall with staff morale, and a good way to get it high is basically having staff who are both in a good mood and paid well.

  • You must pay your staff well - simply scooting along with the bare minimum will no longer cut it
    • This is half the fun of Duckworth-Upon-Bilge!
  • You must accept and win every staff challenge that comes your way - this delivers an insane happiness boost to that individual staff member for a good while.
  • You need an army of janitors to help maintain a very clean and pleasant hospital - this all translates to bonus buffs to happiness, both inside rooms and in the corridors.
  • You need to weed out staff with negative traits, and find ones with good ones that make it easier to be happy
  • For those levels where you have those 90% and 95% goals, everyone should be trained in Emotional Intelligence, this is another basically free +10% Buff to happiness
  • Go into your Staff list and see where your lowest happiest staff are - those are the numbers that are keeping you down most. When you're getting down to the end, just go ahead and send them all on break. That recharge will make a notable increase.
