My Layout (Current Level)

The level is right about where you'd expect it to be for passing one star. Still small, cramped...and the same strategies I've been repeating over and over will apply...as the hospital gets bigger, move things efficiently!

A closer view of my second building and DNA Lab in third - remember, try to keep smooth, even corridors that go down line the line.

You can see how this eventually branched out in my coverage for the winning 3-star level.

Level Notes

  • A good Hygiene rating is obtained through many factors: placing hand sanitisers throughout the hospital, having clean restrooms with hand dryers, hiring staff who are Hygienic and avoiding hiring those who aren't
  • Because many of these buildings are smaller compared to other levels, which makes for another challenge in this level, you'll definitely want small rooms
  • As best as you can avoid it, try to avoid larger congregating areas - it will make the frequent epidemics unbearable. I know, I know, in most other levels, I always say leave large open space. However, in this level, you'll want to keep corridors 2-tiles wide, but avoid creating lots of large open spaces. Think almost like an assembly line or factory belt. That design worked well for me.
  • The frequent epidemics have their pluses and minuses:
    • On the positive side, you'll become an expert at identifying Jogger's Ripple - but you will see both kinds of epidemics in this level.
    • You'll make a lot of extra money from all the extra vaccinations
    • They pop up more frequently here than in any other level, so you will have to constantly contend with them
    • Constant reputation dings mean you'll want a Marketing office to assist with increasing your reputation.
