Walkthrough

The main event: Walkthrough. This game is pretty straightforward, you go to the dungeon to acquire gold and items which allows you to proceed further into the dungeon. Basically, you only need to play and get better items & upgrades to finish the game. Therefore, I will post strategies for the hard bosses, which may require some aid.

First Dimension

After you go through the tutorial, you will be free to manage your tavern and fight as you please. Your first priority is to increase the number of patrons at your tavern, more patrons mean a bigger party, which is essential to complete the dungeon. I recommend buying the following upgrades (in this order) at the beginning: stool (2 ranks), table (1 rank) and the armory. Buy equipment for your party at the Shopkeeper (with the armory upgrade), the gear really helps at lower levels. Don't you forget to come back to the shop for new items as you progress the dungeon (only in this first dimension, the game will hint when new items are available). Keep buying stools and tables until you get enough patrons for a party of five, then you can start acquiring sodas to unlock new patrons. For the first dungeon, I recommend unlocking until the Healer. Buying the Wizard upgrade will also facilitate your access to higher dungeon levels (the game itself will suggest when is time to buy the Wizard). I do not recommend buying VIP upgrades on your first dimension, your gold will be better spent on Tavern upgrades.

Recommended Party: Conjurer, Healer, Healer, Fighter/Conjurer, Fighter.

Dungeon Boss: Julius
Stats: HP 1200, Attack 85
Skills: Fugue (confuse attack on all party members)
Strategy: No particular strategy needed here, just spank it and heal as necessary. Easy once you have reasonable gear.

After you kill the dungeon boss, you will be able to use the portal to change dimensions. Just remember that when you change dimensions you will start without any gold and items (but you retain all upgrades bought with the Barkeep). Therefore, it is a good idea to spend all your remaining gold on upgrades. If you really want an upgrade, you can breeze through completed dungeon levels for gold.

When you change dimensions, you will get to choose your first relic. I recommend the relic that increases Attack, but the one that increases HP is also a good first choice.

Second Dimension

You now possess new relics (the one you pick and the junkie one) and with the upgrades bought from the first dimension, it will be much easier this time around. After getting some gold go to the shopkeeper and buy the necessary items so that your party doesn't walk the dungeon naked. Even with a party of junkies, you will probably breeze through the first levels with equipment bought from your shopkeeper. Remember to check the shopkeeper every time you complete a dungeon area for new items (in this and next dimensions, the game will not warn you when new items are available). This time prioritize buying sodas so that you can reassemble a good party. The same party from the first dimension should suffice, but I recommend expending extra gold to recruit the Thief (he will help **a lot** in getting better items).

Recommended Party: The same as the first dimension or Fighter/Conjurer/Thief, Healer, Healer, Thief, Thief.

Dungeon Boss: Alexandria
Stats: HP 2500, Attack 95
Skills: Double Strike (strike two party members for full damage)
Strategy: Having two healers is highly recommended because of the boss Double Strike.

After you kill the dungeon boss, you once again will be able to change dimensions and choose another relic. Before doing that, I suggest doing a few runs for gold and buying a few VIP upgrades. Buy at least one Inherit and one P.Warp upgrade to help on your next dimension (I actually recommend two ranks of P.Warp, so that the Lair of Despair becomes available when you change dimension).

Third Dimension

If you bought the Inherit & P.Warp upgrades you will see that this time will be much easier (the relics also help a lot). Go to the shopkeeper and buy the best equip available there for a party of five. Buy sodas with the leftover gold and start at the Lair of Despair (if available) or Dungeon level 81 which will give good starting gold and some nice items. After you buy sodas to reassemble a good party, go to the dungeon level 101 or 201 depending on how many P.Warps you bought. Higher levels are more difficult but you get more gold and better items faster. Regarding the party in this dimension, you should recruit the Knight as well.

Recommended Party: Knight, Healer, Healer, Knight/Thief, Thief.

Dungeon Boss: Gaaan
Stats: HP 5000, Attack 110
Skills: Kerfuffle (damage all party and inflicts random status effects)
Strategy: Bring two healers and have your party equip items that prevent status effects.

After killing the dungeon boss, go to the standard procedure of buying tavern and VIP upgrades. Buy one more rank of Inherit and P.Warp, and if you have extra gold buy the Magic Well (it will help *a lot* in acquiring essences).

Fourth Dimension

Repeat the same procedure, buy the best equip available on the shopkeeper and spend the rest on soda. Recruit your party and start at Lair of Despair and after that Dungeon level x81 for items. Attempting higher levels are more difficult but give more gold and better items (I believe it is worth it). For this dungeon boss a Merchant may prove invaluable, therefore buy the soda to recruit him.

Recommended Party for Dungeon Levels: Knight, Healer, Healer, Knight/Thief, Thief.
Recommended Party for Dungeon Boss: Merchant, Merchant, Healer, Knight, Knight/Thief.

Dungeon Boss: Garrik
Stats: HP 9000, Attack 125
Skills: Quake (damages all party members)
Reform (heals the boss 650 HP)
Strategy: This is a difficult boss because of its self-heal. Unless you can inflict burn/poison on him, the only patron that can dish more damage than he can heal is the Merchant. Be sure to put two Merchants as the first two patrons in your party and use Fifty/Fifty until the boss HP drops to low hundreds, which will allow your party members on the back to finish the job. The reason I put Thief in the party setup is that I like his static skill to get better rewards after defeating the boss. Other players have reported using Darkmage instead of Merchant to inflict poison on the boss.

If you found this boss to be an extreme pain in the a** and does not want to repeat this ordeal again, be sure to buy P.Warp upgrade for rank 4+ so that you can skip it whenever you want it for the next dimensions. If did not buy the Magic Well (VIP upgrade) yet, I recommend you do so before changing dimensions.

Fifth Dimension

Repeat the same procedure as before: buy items & sodas, and start the dungeon as high as you are comfortable with. On this run, you have the gold to try the Darkmage and Ragezerker patrons. I don't like them very much, I think both are too expensive. Be aware that, even though the Ragezerker soda is a VIP upgrade, it does not carry over dimensions.

Recommended Party for Dungeon Levels: Knight/Merchant/Darkmage, Healer, Healer, Knight/Merchant/Thief, Thief.
Recommended Party for Dungeon Boss: Knight, Healer, Healer, Healer, Healer.

Dungeon Boss: Demora
Stats: HP 9000, Attack 137
Skills: Rise from the Grave (summons 2 skeletons)
Strategy: This boss can only be damaged by casting healing skills on her. Therefore, you need at least three Healers to defeat her (I recommend four Healers for a faster kill). At first turn, she will use a skill that summons two skeletons, if you kill both of them she will use the skill again and summon another two skeletons. For this reason, I suggest killing one skeleton and them focusing your "attacks" on the boss. Keep the Knight using Defend skill to take less damage, and thanks to the Noble Static Skill your Knight may also defend injured Healers.

After defeating the boss buy ranks on the P.Warp (VIP upgrades) so that you don't have to face this boss again (unless you want to). When you are ready, proceed to the next Dimension.

Sixth Dimension

Repeat the same procedure as before. You don't really need the Merchant or higher patrons, only buy them if you want.

Recommended Party: Knight, Healer, Healer, Knight/Thief, Thief

Dungeon Boss: Binary
Stats: HP 12000, Attack 150
Skills: Bit Shift (60 - 120 damage to all party members)
Strategy: Easy boss compared to last ones. Get a reasonable gear for this level, bring two healers and kick his sorry a*.

Follow the standard procedure after defeating the boss (buy VIP upgrades, sell everything, etc.).

Seventh Dimension

Repeat the same procedure, you probably very used to by now.

Recommended Party for Dungeon Levels: Knight, Healer, Healer, Knight/Thief, Thief
Recommended Party for Dungeon Boss: Fighter/Merchant, Fighter, Healer, Fighter, Fighter.

Dungeon Boss: Tengen
Stats: HP 13000, Attack 155
Skills: Fury Chop (damages the party and lower attack)
Fighting Spirit (makes every non-fighter party member flee)
Strategy: Very difficult boss. He will use Fighting Spirit on the first turn, making any non-fighter flee the battle. Bring a team with as many fighters as you can to pass through the last 10 dungeon levels and reach this boss (I recommend 4 fighters and 1 healer). Another complication is the Fury Chop will decrease your attack (items that prevent status effect are useless against this), therefore you need to kill him quickly. If you are not relying on critical hits, use the Piledriver skill to dish out more damage. If you are still having a hard time, use essences to improve the Relic of Fighter (I had mine on level 10 for this fight). You can also bring a merchant and hope that Fifty/Fifty skill lands on the first turn. A Darkmage may also help to inflict status effects on the first turn.

After defeating this boss, follow the standard procedure before leaving to the next dimension.

Eighth Dimension

Well, you know what to do. Buy best equip, sodas and start at a dungeon level you feel comfortable to get gold and reassemble the party of your choice.

Recommended Party: Knight, Healer, Healer, Thief/Knight, Thief

Dungeon Boss: Kelzika
Stats: HP 14000, Attack 160
Skills: Questionable Concoction (poison attack on all party members).
Strategy: Very easy when compared to last dungeon boss. If you have items that prevent status effects equip your party to avoid the Questionable Concoction. Otherwise, bring two or three healers and the patrons of your choice to damage.

Once again, follow the procedure after defeating the boss. When you are ready, proceed to the next dimension.

Ninth Dimension

Repeat the usual procedure. If you bought all ranks for P.Warp upgrade, you should see that the maximum possible dungeon level to start is 800 (I start at 781 for the Ascension area items).

Recommended Party: Knight, Healer, Healer, Knight/Thief, Knight

Dungeon Boss: Berus
Stats: HP 15000, Attack 165
Skills: Icy Tomb (damages all party members)
Crystalized (increases boss defense)
Strategy: Another easy boss, just bring two healers and the patrons of your choice. I also recommend a Knight and using his new skill to cause burn on the boss.

After killing this boss, prepare yourself for the final dungeon boss (but not the last dimension yet).

Tenth Dimension

The end draws near. Background image outside the tavern will change to a strange purple, I guess it is the game's way to say you are approaching the end. You know what to do to climb up the dungeon. After level 880, incredible items may drop (I recommend bringing two thieves to increases the odds of finding better items).

Recommended Party: Knight/Merchant, Healer, Healer, Knight/Thief, Knight

Dungeon Boss: Ornos
Stats: HP 18000, Attack 180
Skills: He possesses every skill from the other Dungeon Bosses (except for Fighting Spirit, thank goodness).
Strategy: Not difficult, bring a party of your choice to kill this boss. You probably acquired good items to finish this boss more easily.

Congratulations, you defeated the final boss. However, It is not over yet. Follow the same guideless after defeating a dungeon boss, and prepare for the Warrior's Dimension.

Warrior's Dimension

This dimension is the "reward" for defeating the final boss. As far as I can tell, it possesses infinite levels, and there are no more dimensions after this one. The darkmage relic gave me a newfound appreciation for this patron, I recommend placing him at your party. After dungeon level 1000 you will fight dungeon bosses again in order, for example, at level 1100 you fight the same dungeon boss as level 100, at 1200 the same as 200, and so on. Moreover, you don't need to follow the boss mechanics to defeat them after dungeon level 1000 (e.g., Tengen does not scare your non-fighters, Demora can be hurt be regular attacks as well as healing spells, etc.). In this dimension, you can also get a special currency called Mystic Caps, which is necessary to buy the final VIP Upgrades. You should be aware that you need to reach the gold cap (1.5 Billion gold) to acquire Caps. Have fun in this endless dungeon.

Recommended Party: Darkmage, Healer, Healer/Knight/Merchant, Knight, Thief.

Update: I just learned that the Ragezerker skill Roar (which gives a bonus to attack) lasts for an entire dungeon run. In this case, a Ragezerker in the party starting at lower levels could build up some nice bonuses in the long run. Therefore, you might consider placing one in your party (preferably in the first spot).
