The cheats in the shareware version are named after the first initial and last full name of the designers in Raven Software, such as "bgokey" which is for Ben Gokey, the lead programmer. And "kschilder" which stands for Kevin Schilder, the composer of this game and it's predecessor Heretic.
The game has two unused music tracks, "chap_2r" and "chartr". The latter was never used, but the other was used in the expansion Deathkings of the Dark Citadel, and is a remix of the track "Simon" which played in the Guardian of Ice from the first hub.
Also, judging by the former track's name and it being a remix from one of the levels in the first hub, it was meant to be played in the third hub of the standalone game. The third hub's music tracks for some of it's branching maps are remixes from the ones in the first hub of the game, and it's other remixed counterparts track names also have the prefix "chap" which is short for chapel, the main theme of the maps from the third hub.
By looking into the game files, one can see that there are plenty of maps that were scrapped or supposed to be added. One of them made it, and the map is named "Maze". However it lacks detail and is nothing more than a maze, and has no background music track unlike all the other maps. It also has no monsters. It can be visited by entering "visit41" or "map map41" in some sourceports.
Korax: Greetings mortal, are you ready to die?
