Shining Poms
This section is focused on hunting Shining Poms. Shining Poms are extremely rare creatures that show up in a fixed location. Defeating a Shining Pom will give you a ton of EXP, Sepith, and a guarantee U-Material. Shining Poms are not exactly the easiest creature to defeat, they have very high defense, immune to all status ailments and a high dodge rate. If you intend to defeat them, its best to come in with a full CP party and spam your Combination Crafts, or your S-Craft on them. The best location to farm Shining Pom would be near St. Ursula Medical College, as it has the most frequent spawn rate and a high chance of having multiple show up. If you manage to get a sepith bonus when fighting 4 shining poms, using Wazy + Noel's combination craft "Blue Breaker" can give you over 400 sepith of every type.
An example with 3 Poms.
Tip #1: Going to the previous map will not make the Shining Pom spawn. You will need to go back to the nearest town, in order to reset the Shining Pom spawn in order for it to appear. For this reason, the Shining Pom in Ursula Byroad, is the best location, as you right next to town.
Tip #2: It is highly recommended you equip the Eagle Eye quartz, if you know the Shining Pom spawn location, you should able to see it on the mini map, when you are somewhat near the area, this can reduce your time on finding the Shining Pom.
Tip #3: If you are higher than the Shining Pom by 10 levels, hitting them twice during field attacks will kill the Shining Pom before going to battle. This can be really bad for grinding, so make sure you don't kill them by accident.

High Level Monster Chest
In the game, you might have encountered some monster chest that gives a warning of an extremely strong monster within. It is pretty reasonable to defeat them around late chapter 3 or in Chapter 4. There is a total of five of these chest found in the region of Crossbell.
Chest Location
| Location | Level | Monster | Reward |
| Ursula Byroad | 82 | Gordi Ossar x4 | Mars Bell |
| The Old Mines | 85 | Orgon Spider x8 | Jupiter Bell |
| Path to Bellguard Gate | 86 | Quetzalcoatl x6 | Saturn Bell |
| Knox Woodland Road | 100 | Master Cyron x6 | Mercury Bell |
| Path to Tangram Gate | 100 | Gold Statue x6 | Divine King Bell |
Ursula Byroad Chest
| Lv 82 Monster Chest [EN/JP] | HP | Elemental Efficacy | Item Drop | |
| Gordi Ossar x4 | ゴーディ - オッサー x4 | 7847 (Nightmare) | N/A | |
| This will be the easiest high level chest. Each mob are very strong physically, can do some devastating attacks that can hit on a certain radius or in a completely straight line. The thing is all these skills can be impeded with Lloyd's Stun Break or Wazy's Trinity Card. When you have their skills dispelled, cast arts against them, and these mobs should go down real quick. Overall this chest fight can be done at a much lower suggested level even on Nightmare mode. | ||||
The Old Mines Chest
| Lv 82 Monster Chest [EN/JP] | HP | Elemental Efficacy | Item Drop | |
| Orgon Spider x8 | オルゴンスパイド x8 | 13373 (Nightmare) | N/A | |
| This battle can be tough if you want to clear it before Chapter 4. Getting the Jupiter Bell is a huge benefit for players playing on Nightmare Mode. This battle should be perfectly doable at level 70. Each spider is weak to status ailments, if you manage to land a status ailment on them, you should be safe for this battle. Each hit from the spider has the chance of petrifying you. I would suggest having your party member close to each other, so they can cast spells such as Adamantine Guard, to have physical immunity. Tio's Zero field also work great for this situation. The main problem with fighting these spiders is how much faster than you at this point. If you can cast Calamity Claw, you should able to lower the Orgon Spider, giving you enough turns to act. Another method would be using the Burst function, which lets you cast magic instantly. During this moment you can spam status ailment spells such as Calamity Edge or Death Spiral (10 to 20% of instant K.O.). or other types of ailment abilities to give you an edge in battle. if you are using Noel, her sleep grenade can also work quite effectively for this battle. | ||||
Bellguard Gate Chest
| Lv 86 Monster Chest [EN/JP] | HP | Elemental Efficacy | Item Drop | |
| Quetzalcoatl x6 | ケツアルコアトル x6 | 18178 (Nightmare) | N/A | |
| This is another chest that can be cleared around 70 and before chapter 4. Each mobs has a powerful physical attack that can hit a group and cause faint. If you have a party member setup as an evasion tank (Have over 100 AGL) then this battle should be very easy. Just have the tank lure the mobs away from the team, then have someone cast their strongest wind arts against them. These mobs are very weak against wind, so using a skill like Spark Dyne ( | ||||
Knox Woodland Road Chest
| Lv 100 Monster Chest [EN/JP] | HP | Elemental Efficacy | Item Drop | |
| Master Cyron x6 | マスタークリオン x6 | 16437 (Nightmare) | N/A | |
| This is perhaps the hardest monster chest to clear especially if you try to do it before the final chapter. The mob only has two skills, it will cast Diamond Dust or it will heal itself for a small amount of HP. The main problem with this fight is that you can't dispel the mobs from casting arts. If your playing Nightmare mode, you will most likely die from being hit by six consecutive arts. The best way to survive this fight is to have all of your characters spread to each corner of the map, and then have the person being targeted being put into stealth by using Hollow Sphere ( | ||||
Tangram Gate Chest
| Lv 100 Monster Chest [EN/JP] | HP | Elemental Efficacy | Item Drop | |
| Gold Statue x6 | ゴールドスタチュー x6 | 16539 (Nightmare) | N/A | |
| This will be the second hardest chest to clear if you want to do it before the Final Chapter. Overall these mobs are a lot easier to deal with than the Master Cryon in Knox Woodland Road. The mobs have two types of attacks, a single thunder strike that will impede your arts or a lighting attack that hits a small radius. If you have an evasion tank setup (Have 100 AGL), you can use it to dodge all incoming attacks. If you don't have enough AGL, you can use food items or arts to raise the tank evasion rate, when you got a tank covered, you want the tank to catch the attention of the mob, while the rest of the party to hit it with arts. You can use something like Around Noah to hit them all at once, a method of doing this is to Cast the arts first and have Elie use her Strike Bell, to accelerate the caster's turn. If you don't do this, there is a high chance of the mobs dispelling your arts before you can cast them. If you fail to kill them, you can always come back in the final chapter and defeat them using Burst. | ||||
