Fishing List

This section contains data on fishing. If you manage to catch all 31 different fishes, you will get the "Explosive Lake Lord" trophy. When fishes are caught, you can use it to feed the cat (Coppe), Coppe will give you a quartz based on the quality of fish you gave. You can also exchange for fish for items by speaking to Marte at East Street. There is also fishing duels when you find one of the Lake Lord's apprentice, you can challenge to a fishing duel if you meet the conditions. Winning against them, will give you a unique accessory.

Note: Fishing Location highlighted in Blue is the location with the highest chance of appearing.

Fishing Duel

During Chapter 2, when you enter the fishing guild, you will see an event with Lake Lord and his apprentice. After this event, you will notice some fishing spots are hogged Lake Lord:s apprentice. In order to use these fishing spots, you must defeat the apprentice in a fishing duel. But before they will challenge you to duel, you must fulfill their criteria or else they will reject your duel. These fishing spot also contains a legendary fish, so defeating Lake Lord and company is required for catching all fish.

Ocean Edge "Jackman"

	Location	Ursula Byroad
	Requirement	Catch the following fish: Gluttonous Bass, Rockfish, Amorica Buna, Piranha, Arowana, Pirarucu
	Earliest Duel Date	Chapter 2.
	Duel Condition	Sudden Death Duel. You will be catching as much fish as possible, whoever fails to catch a fish will lose. Usually Jackman will automatically fail after catching 6 fish or so. Be sure to bring a lot of bait for this duel.

Crazy Wave "Narse"

	Location	Main Mountain Path
	Requirement	Catch the most beautiful fish. The fish you need is Noble Carp. This can be caught at the Boat House by using the Bamboo Rod with Dumpling DX.
	Earliest Duel Date	Chapter 2.
	Duel Condition	Catch the most expensive fish. This duel can be easily won by catching the Gold Salmon by using the Bamboo Rod with Dumpling DX.

Serpent Throne "Kaguya"

	Location	Amorica Old Road
	Requirement	Catch a fish that is 130 rege or larger. Suggested fish to catch would be Pirarucu, Pale Salamander, Queen Crab, Titan.
	Earliest Duel Date	Chapter 2.
	Duel Condition	Catch the three fish and whoever has the largest overall sum will win. An easy way to win this contest is to use the Viking Rod, and use Carp as your bait, this way you will always catch a Pirarucu which will ensure your victory.

Silver Orca "Triton"

	Location	West Crossbell Highway
	Requirement	Catch 29 different types of fish.
	Earliest Duel Date	Chapter 4 Day 1.
	Duel Condition	First person to catch five different types of fish will Win. Try using a combination of different bait to win. Primary Rod + Dumpling (練り団子)= Carp Primary Rod + Kasagin (カサギン) = Gluttonous Bass Little Shooter + Roe (イクラ) = Trout Little Shooter + Red Files (アカムシ) = Fighter Viking Rod + Carp (カルプ) = Queen Crab

After you defeated all of Lake Lord's apprentice. You should also catch all the legendary fish, then speak to Peter outside of the boat house, he will give you ultimate rod "Aqua Ruler". (You can also purchase additional Rainbow Ball EX from him if you need them) Then go to the Fisher Guild, speak to Lake Lord upstairs. When he sees that you have defeated all of his apprentice, he will accept your duel. Meet him at the shallow area of Ursula Byroad.

Lake Lord III

	Location	Ursula Byroad
	Requirement	Defeated all four of Lake Lord's apprentice.
	Earliest Duel Date	Chapter 4 Day 1.
	Duel Condition	Catch the exact same fish a Lake Lord. Use the list below as a reference. Little Shooter + Red Files (アカムシ) = Ezel Primary Rod + Dumpling (練り団子)= Carp Primary Rod + Kasagin (カサギン) = Gluttonous Bass Little Shooter + Roe (イクラ) = Rainey Viking Rod + Carp (カルプ) = Pale Salamander

After this event, you can catch the Giga Rook at the Ursula Byroad. You will need to equip the Aqua Ruler and use the Rainbow Ball EX as bait to catch the fish. When you do, you will get the Chevalier master quartz.
