Chapter 1

Ch. 1 - Day 1

Watch the event scene, Elie will give you a brief tutorial on using the SSS computer. This is for checking request, and reporting them. Each time a quest is cleared, you will receive DP and other rewards, having a high DP rank will unlock additional bonus items. Quest marked in red are required to advance the main story.

As you regain control, head to the 3rd floor and go to KeA's room on the far right. You can also visit each of your friend's room for a short event. On the roof, you will find Zeit and the cat, Coppe. Starting in Chapter 2, Feeding Coppe with a fish, you will be rewarded with a gift from Coppe, so don't forget to feed the cat for later. (To feed it, simply catch a fish and have it in your inventory.)

Then leave the SSS building. Head to the square for an event.

Before you proceed to the main story, there are optional story events you can see by visiting the following area. Some of the events will raise a character's Bonding Points. With enough Bonding Points, you can trigger an important story sequence that will give you an upgraded Craft or a powerful accessory for later. It will even alter some of the dialogue near the end of the game.

  Law Office - Speak to Ian for an event.
  Bakery Cafe "Morge" - Speak to Oscar to receive a muffin.
• East Street
  Bracer Guild - Crossbell Branch - Speak to Lynne or Aeolia on the second floor.
• Government District
  Police Station - Speak to Fran.
• Entertainment District
  Arc en Ciel - Enter the main stage for an event. Note: (This event will raise Rixia's Bonding Points)
• Residential Street
  Hayworth Residence - Speak to Harold, Sofia or Colin for an event.
• IBC
  Speak to Lanfe by the receptionist counter to receive a Primary Card.
  Speak to Rezelo near the entrance to receive a Celestial Balm.
• Downtown
  Trinity - Short event when entering.
  Ignis - Short event when entering.
  Exchange Shop "Neinvall" - Short event when entering.
  Guillaume Factory - Short event when entering.
• Mainz Mountain Path - Crossbell Cathedral
  Speak to Sister Marble for an event.
  You can speak to KeA for an event. Note: (This event will raise KeA's Bonding Points)
  You can visit the grave of Guy, Saya, and Ozma for another event scene.

There are also hidden treasures in Crossbell City. You can pick them up from the following locations.

When your done the optional events, finished the side quests and then work on the main story quest.

Head to the Back Alley area and enter the antique shop. Speak to Imelda, you will receive a key to enter her apartment. Now go to the Downtown area and enter Maison Imelda. Grab the Sepith from the treasure chest and return to the starting area. Take the west exit, go to the room on the center north, you will find an EP Charge I in a chest. Exit out and take the bottom left exit near the corner. Then go to the room to the right, pick up the Accel Shoes from the chest. Leave and then take the north exit. Go to the right, and enter the room, you will see a monster chest. Open it, there will be eight monsters inside, if you manage to kill all eight at the same time, you will unlock a trophy. An easy way of doing this is to weaken all the enemies about half HP, and then use your AOE S-Craft on them (Lloyd's Rising Sun). When you cleared the monster chest, you will receive a Move 1. Leave the room and go to the room on the bottom corner. Pick up the Blind quartz from the treasure chest. Then go upstairs on the west side of the room, and on the very right side of the map, examine the book on the shelf to learn the Light Burger recipe. Then enter the room on the center. Examine the monster at the center to fight the boss. As for the main boss, you should have Wazy use his Phantom Rush to slow the boss' speed. If you're playing in Nightmare, the boss is extremely fast, and using Wazy Phantom Rush is a must. Lloyd's should use his buffs, Noel with her Heavy Smash and Elie should only use her AOE heal when necessary as it has a huge CP cost. After the battle, you will obtain a Combination Craft for Lloyd and Wazy.

West Crossbell Highway

If you have finished the two story related quest, you should receive a phone call from Sergei. Leave town to West Crossbell Highway. Then finish the following side quest before you go to the next story destination.

Q4

After finishing the hidden quest, leave town by going to West Crossbell Highway. Your next story destination is the Crossbell Police Academy. Just continue to the southwest path to get there. Around the halfway mark, you will see an event, the man will ask a question, Answer with 52, this will increase your DP by 3. When the event is over, the quest "West Crossbell Highway Monster / 西クロスベル街道の手配魔獣" will be removed from your quest logs. Continue all the way to the southwest end, watch the event and go past the gate to enter Knox Woodland Road. This location has a spawning point for Shining Pom. Defeating a Shining Pom, will grant you a ton of EXP and sepith.

Knox Woodland Road

Knox Woodland is quite linear, just continue south, when the split take the detour on the top right to find a Shield 1 in a treasure chest. Continue all the way down, on the bottom left corner of the map, you will see a small event and also a Teara Balm in treasure chest. Then take the southeast exit to the other half of Knox Woodland Road. In this section there is a Monster Chest in the northwest area that contains a level 100 monster, come back to it later, follow the path all the way down, on the northeast corner of the map, there is a treasure chest that contains some Sepiths. Now take the southeast exit to the Police Academy.

Crossbell Police Academy

If you finished the Crackdown of a "Runaway Car / 暴走車の取り締まり" side quest from earlier, there will be some slight change in dialogue. If you move the left side of the Police Academy, a small event will occur. There is also a fishing spot, located on the right side of the area.

To continue with the story, go inside the academy and watch the event between Sergei. Select the second choice "交通基本法の講習" to raise your DP.

After the event, leave the meeting room and speak to the Receptionist Juan. Juan will reward you with special items if you can cook him peculiar dishes from your recipe book. Juan will also give you the first chapter of Sunshine Agnes. If you have played any of Trails game, these books have a very small time frame of obtaining them. Usually, it involves speaking to the correct NPC at the right time. Collecting every chapter of Sunshine Agnes will let you trade in for the ultimate weapon later in the game.

Missable List

Leave the Police Academy, and move near Sergei. After the event, you will receive the Orbal Car Keys. Using the hummer will let you quick travel to destinations. Move your cursor to Crossbell and select the SSS Garage to leave the Police Academy. Visit the Crossbell Cathedral and enter the room on the right to visit Sister Marble. You can also find Ries at the center end of the Cemetery. Return to Crossbell to end the day.

Ch. 1 - Day 2

When you regain control, examine the SSS computer, read all the request. Also report the quest you have finished to claim your reward.

Before you move on to the main story, there are some optional story events, visit the following area.

• Central Square
  Department Store - Speak to Neston to receive a Curia Balm.
• Government District
  Police Station - Speak to Fran. Note: (This event will raise Fran's Bonding Points)
• East Street
  Bracer Guild -Speak to Wenzel or Scott on the 2nd floor for a small scene.
  Old Dragon Diner -You can speak to Alexei by the counter for a small scene.
• Mainz Mountain Path - Crossbell Cathedral
  You can speak to Ries and Sister Marble for a small event.
  Small House on the east side of map - Speak to Sully and Quint. Note: (This event will raise Sully's Bonding Points)

After if you have seen the optional events, go to the Downtown area and enter the exchange shop. Then speak to Ashley on the left side. Leave Downtown by taking the north exit.

Wazy will have a massive stat boost for this battle, it should be impossible to lose. Just make sure to scan Wald before the battle ends.

Quest Name	Missing Umbrella Request / 消えた雨傘の調査依頼 [Required]
Go to West Street and enter the Bakery "Morge". Speak to Oscar to initiate the request. Then select the 4th choice "東通りの住民" to raise your DP. Then go to East Street and then enter the red house on the far right, go inside and speak to Paula. Afterwards, go to the Waterfront Area and speak to Roy at the center. Find Mei Lin behind the light tower to finish the request.

Quest Name	Beta Tester Participation / βテストの参加依頼 [Required]
Go inside the IBC building, watch the event, and then speak to receptionist Lanfe. Then meet Roberts by the elevator. After this event, return to SSS Building. Save your game. and then examine the SSS computer, select the third choice. You will end up fighting Roberts in a puzzle mini game, if you manage to win, you will get 1 extra DP. Pom-to! Rules In the game of Pom-to, you and your opponent will be receiving poms, whoever has their screen entirely filled will lose the game. Poms can only be rotated vertically, and if more than three poms are connected, they will disappear and build your CP. If you can clear multiple chains of Pom, you will receive additional CP. CP can be used for attacking or defending against your opponent, to use this function, press triangle, and press L to defend or R for an attack. If you lose, load your save file and try again.

When you have completed the three requests listed above, go to another area, you will receive a phone call from Fran. After this event, you can use the Orbal Car to travel to other locations. Do not leave Crossbell, you can also get a new paint color for your Orbal Car if you examine the book (Car Mania April Issue) on Hayworth residences 2F (There is a trophy for collecting every car related items). You could go to fishing locations in Crossbell, they are highlighted with a ripple effect. There is a hidden quest within the city. Head to the library to initiate the hidden quest.

Q8

Mainz Mountain Path

Now that all your side activities are done, your next destination is in Mainz. Which is located to the northwest of Crossbell City. Depending on how you reach there, some slight variation in events will occur, this is if you get there by foot, bus or driving the Orbal Car. To get there, take the northwest exit of town to Mainz Mountain Path. There is also a spawn point for Shining Poms in Mainz Mountain Path, use the map below as reference. I would suggest you to travel to Mainz on foot, so you can pick up treasures, and finish the monster side quest on the way. There is also an optional scene at the Doll Studio, you will see Jorg and two other NPC, this scene is a requirement for the bonus DP for later.

You will find the quest monster just below the area where the rain stops. Use the map above as a reference. Boss Name [EN/JP] HP Elemental Efficacy Item Drop Neon Abyss Worm x8 ネオンアビスワーム 5348 (Nightmare) 100, 110, 125, 100 U-Material (100%), Teara Balm (50%), This boss is extremely difficult, as there are eight abyss worms for you to deal with. Each abyss worm has three attacks, a regular attack, thunder strike and an earthquake attack. The earthquake attack can hit all your party members regardless of where they are. If all eight worms decided to use the earthquake attack it can be an instant game over. Best thing to do is come with a full CP party. Noel will be your most useful member, her Heavy Smash can weaken their strength by 50%. If you're on nightmare mode, you will need to rely on luck and manipulate the turn orders, if you spam all your Craft skills quickly, you will never get a turn, leading to a fast game over. Try to have Wazy and Lloyd spam their Combination Craft, have Noel use her Heavy Smash. Elie should use her Aura rain as an emergency or use her Combination Craft if it's viable. After the battle, you will obtain a Combination Craft for Noel and Elie.

Mainz

Head to the mayor's house on the far right side of the map. Watch the event scene, there will be some missable items in Mainz. First, grab the second chapter of Sunshine Agnes by speaking to Rosie at the northeast corner of the map. You can go inside the mines and get another color for your car by examining the blue book located in the basement floor. If you go to the inn, you can learn the Fried Fish recipe by checking the poster on the left side of the room. There is a Collectible item you can purchase for Lloyd at the general store.

Missable List

When you have picked up everything, leave town and go to the Old Mines located in the upper left area of Mainz Mountain Path. You will see Gantz. Pick up the Safety Helmet in the treasure towards the left side of the entrance. Before you go inside the mines, finished everything you need to do, such as side quests and items you might have missed. You won't able to finish them when you enter.

After the event scene, the game will add the Burst function. Burst will restore all status ailments, 20% of your character's HP, and have a rapid CP gain. It will also strengthen crafts and lets you cast arts instantly. The Burst function will expire when the Burst Gauge is completely depleted. To use Burst, you need to fill the Burst gauge located at the upper right of your screen, you can activate Burst by holding Right on the Attack Icon and press the confirm button.

Note: Burst is only available during certain story events.

Now take the right pathway and go all way to the end. You will find a Polka Dot Dress in a chest. Return back to the end entrance area, and then take the left path. It will split into two ways, take the left path again, pick up the Misty Sole from the chest and leave, now take the north path. Follow the path, when the direction begins to change, there is a treasure chest containing Sepith on the left. From here, take the bottom right exit. Keep going all the way to end. There will be a Floral Bottle in the chest near you. Take and then take the north exit. Keep going until an event occurs. Then pick up the Fragment from the treasure chest near you. Go to the left exit, keep going straight, when the path changes direction facing south, you will find a Burst Orb in the on the right corner. Follow the path on the bottom left, and take the left exit. Then take the left exit again, pick up the Sepith from the chest, and the take upper right exit to the next area. Pick up the Teara Balm, in the chest. Then go to the next area, there will a monster chest on the bottom corner. If you manage to clear it, you will get a Mind 2 Quartz. There is another monster chest at the bottom left corner of the next map. If you manage to clear it, you get a Gladiator Headband. Now go to the room on the top left, you will find an orbment station, heal up and then save. Go to the next room and watch the event.

Select the second choice "可能性は低い" to boost your DP.

As soon as this boss fight begins, Wazy will be replaced by Randy. Wazy will act as a support unit which can provide speed buffs randomly. This boss actually has a ton of health, making it a very long boss fight. The boss has two types of attacks, physical and magical, the magical one, Rainbow Ray, can hit all your party members for a ton of damage. If you have the spell "A-Reflect" (x6) you can reflect this attack. If not then have Elie use her Aura Rain when necessary. You should have Elie, on the rear and have your entire team on the front so that Elie doesn't get hurt. Noel should use her Heavy Smash to weaken the boss' physical skills. If you have the Burst function ready, use it to dish out as much damage as you can, (Best thing right now would be a Mirage Arts).

When all the event scene is over the game will add up your accomplishment of this chapter. As of this point, the maximum amount of DP you should have is 59.
