Chapter 2

Ch. 2 - Day 1

Read all the request in the SSS Computer. Head to the SSS Roof and feed the cat. (The cat will give you a quartz based on what fish you chose, if you fed the cat nine times, the cat will give you the Katze Master Quartz.) Leave the SSS Building for an event. There will be a new selection of items added to all the stores in Crossbell, such as equipment, orbments and etc. Now visit the locations listed below to finish all the optional events and pick up important items.

• Government District
  Police Station - Speak to Rebecca, if you have picked up the Fragment item from the Old Mines, an event will occur.
  Note: Fragments are used to decipher the D.G Cult Report, there is a trophy for collecting all fragments.
• Entertainment District
  Casino - Can purchase the Little Shooter fishing rod from the Casino.
  Arc en Ciel - Speak to Ilya, or Rixia at the stage for an event. Note: (This event will raise Ilya's Bonding Points)
  - Car Magazine in Dressing Room (Noble Color for the Orbal Car)
• West Street
  General Store "Tally" - Purchase the 2nd Issue of Crossbell Times.
  Bakery Cafe "Morge" - Speak to Oscar to receive a cream melon bread.
• East Street
  Bracer Guild -Speak to Michel, he will give you access to his account for the Pomto! mini game.
  - Speak to KeA and Shizuku on the second floor. Note: (This event will raise KeA's Bonding Points) (Must be before Shin's Tour Guide / シン少年への市外地案内)
  Fishing Guild - Event when entering. After this event, you can challenge the Lake Lord's apprentice, at the Boat House between East Crossbell Highway and Amorica Old Road.
  Winning will reward your characters with an accessory.
• Back Alley
  Crimson Market - Event
  Antique Shop Imelda -Speak to Imelda, she will give you Sunshine Agnes Chapter 3.
  Department Store "Times" - Enter the store through the rear entrance, get the Bellberry Juice recipe, from the poster at the information desk.
• Downtown
  You can find Ries in this area.
  Ignis -Event when entering.

After you done all the side activity from above. There is also some optional stuff outside of Crossbell City. Visit the following locations.

• Mainz
  Speak to Miner Chief Bickson - Bickson will give you the key to the Old Mines. (This will also add 1 DP for Later) You can also visit the Moon Temple area that you weren't able to before.

  You can travel here by using the bus stop on West Crossbell Highway, or use the Orbal Car to directly reach here.

  You can learn the Milk Potage recipe by examining the cook book in a desk on 2F.
  A Sniper Barrel accessory is in a treasure chest of the rear exit of 2F.

Go inside the library in the Government District, speak to Miles by the staff counter. Accept the request and go to Stargazer tower located in St. Ursula Byroad. Use the map above as a reference for the quest monster. Boss Name [EN/JP] HP Elemental Efficacy Item Drop Sepith Demon x6 セピスデーモン 5731 (Nightmare) 100, 180, 50, 190 Beast Flesh (100%), U-Material (100%) Unlike the Abyss Worms, the Sepith Demons are actually really easy compared to them. As long as your using Noel or Randy, you can easily wipe these group of monsters with status ailments. Use something that can inflict Sleep, Blind or Seal and the monsters will be completely useless. These monsters can hit you with Burn, which can hurt, so try to be careful. After the battle, you will obtain a Combination Craft for Noel and Wazy.

After you have finished the side quest, drop by Amorica Village.

Amorica Village

There will be some optional stuff for you to do, first head to the Inn and speak to the people by the counter for an event. (This will also add 1 DP for Later) Then examine the poster on the wall to learn the Stylish Omelet Rice recipe. Go upstairs, you can find Harold in one of the rooms, he will give you some Honey Syrup. There is another room with a blue book on top of the drawer, examine it to get the Pop Color for your car. Then purchase the Racing Flag (レース用フラッグ) from the general store. When your done, head back to Crossbell City.

Missable List

When you have returned to Crossbell City, go to the Waterfront Area and examine the Heiyue Building for an event. Then go inside the Heiyue building, and speak to Cao at his office, select the first choice to unlock the hidden quest.

Q12

When you completed the activities listed above, continue with the main story quest.

Tangram Gate

Travel to East Crossbell Highway, when the roads are divided, take the east path to get to Tangram Gate. You can take the bottom right pathway to the Boat House area. Inside the Boat House, you can get the Smooth Almond Tofu recipe from the cookbook behind the barrels. You can also speak to Sheldon to purchase fish bait, and a collectible item for Wazy. There is also a fishing spot by the pier on the right side. When you're done exploring this area, continue on by going to Tangram Gate.

When you have arrived in Tangram Gate, go to the cafeteria area and examine the car magazine on the upper right corner. You will get the Guard Color for your car. Then go upstairs, take the exit from bottom right area, you will find a Jumping Gear in a treasure chest. Leave and go to the 3rd floor, you will find a cookbook on top of a barrel. Examine the book to learn the Mellow Hotpot recipe.

Missable List

After that, go to Commander Douglass on of the rooms in the 2nd floor, doing so will imitate the main story quest.

Quest Name	Guardian Force Training Exercise / 警備隊演習の参加要請 [Required]
Accept the request from Commander Douglass. If you win all three battles under the special conditions, you will receive 1 extra DP. For Nightmare difficulty, it is preferred you carry a lot of healing items like Teara Balm for this fight. Also would recommend Wazy over Randy for this fight. 1st Battle - Boss Name [EN/JP] HP Elemental Efficacy Item Drop Guardian Force - Gunner x2 警備隊員 - 突撃銃 5977 (Nightmare) 100, 100, 100, 100 Teara Balm (30%), EP Charge II (30%) Guardian Force - Axe x3 警備隊員 - 斧槍 6464 (Nightmare) 100, 100, 100, 100 Teara Balm (30%), EP Charge II (30%) For the first battle, you are banned from using Arts. The best arsenal against the soldiers to use crafts skill that can cause blind or seal. It will disable the soldiers attack. The main problem with this fight is how spread out each soldiers is, which prevents you from hitting them all at once. The soldiers also have attacks that can inflict ailments on you, which can be burn, faint, petrify, seal. For this battle, the best thing you should do is try to attack as many of as you can, if they want to cast arts, cancel them immediately with one of Lloyd, Elie or Wazy's crafts. 2nd Battle - Boss Name [EN/JP] HP Elemental Efficacy Item Drop Guardian Force - Gunner x2 警備隊員 - 突撃銃 5977 (Nightmare) 100, 100, 100, 100 Teara Balm (30%), EP Charge II (30%) Guardian Force - Axe x3 警備隊員 - 斧槍 6464 (Nightmare) 100, 100, 100, 100 Teara Balm (30%), EP Charge II (30%) For the second battle, you are banned from using crafts. This battle is a lot tougher than the previous battle without the usage of crafts. However the attack pattern for the enemies are also changed, they are most likely remain on the rear casting arts at you. The best thing to do is to cast large area magic skills or try to attack as many as possible with Noel. On Nightmare difficulty, you should take the hits from the magic spell and attack from the far back so the enemy position doesn't change.Just be sure to heal when HP goes low. 3rd Battle - Boss Name [EN/JP] HP Elemental Efficacy Item Drop Guardian Force - Gunner x2 警備隊員 - 突撃銃 5977 (Nightmare) 100, 100, 100, 100 Teara Balm (30%), EP Charge II (30%) Guardian Force - Axe x3 警備隊員 - 斧槍 6464 (Nightmare) 100, 100, 100, 100 Teara Balm (30%), EP Charge II (30%) Commander Douglass ダグラス副司令 12379 (Nightmare) 100, 100, 100, 100 Spirit Breaker (100%) The last battle, lets you access all functions, however it is the most difficult battle of the three. This battle will have Commander Douglass on board, Douglass is immune to all status ailments and also hits super hard. His abilities can deal massive damage or AT Delay to a group, he can also heal and buff a single target. Its recommended you have your party member cancel each of the soldier's arts if possible. Also try to keep your team divided into two, so that Douglass will focus on one group. Then slowly focus on getting rid as much of the soldiers as possible, if they are all gone, you can focus on Douglass. For Nightmare difficulty, Wazy is recommended over Randy due to his abilitiy to cancel arts users in a group which will be very effective for this battle. You also might want to save Elie's S-Craft, Aura Rain for dire situations. If you successfully won all three battles, you will earn 1 extra DP when you turn in your quest.

When you have finished the quest, return to Crossbell using the Bus or Car.

Ursula Byroad

Return back to Ursula Byroad, this time take the southeast path all the way to the end until you have reach St. Ursula Medical College.

When you arrive at the Medical College, an event will occur with Cecile. After the conversation is over, move to the general store and purchase the Pom Cushion, this is a collectible item for KeA's room. then go upstairs, go to the room on the west end, examine the cookbook in the bookshelf, you will learn the Mixed Stew recipe.

After that, work on the main story quest.

Q14

When you have finished the request, go to Cecile's room located at 3rd floor of the lodge. Speak to her for a short scene. Note: (This event will raise Cecile's Bonding Points), as you leave the college, you will receive a phone call. Return to Crossbell City and go to the Bracer Guild in East Street. Speak to Michel and select the second choice to wait for Arios (Doing this will end the day, so make sure you have finished everything you need to do.) During the event with Sergei answer with the second choice "鉄血宰相の安全確保" to get bonus DP.

Ch. 2 - Day 2 (Part A)

When you regain control, read all the request in the SSS Computer. Head to the SSS Roof and feed the cat. You can also visit Orchis Tower. When you have visited Orchis Tower at least once, it will added to the quick travel menu. Now visit the following locations listed below to see all the optional events.

Side Note: Try to cook a failure dish until you have received Cat Food (50% success rate on failure dishes). This is required for one of the Sunshine Agnes book for later.

• West Street
  Villa Raisans - Visit the the 3rd floor to Ilya's apartment. Speak to Sully or Ilya. Note: (This event will raise Sully's Bonding Points)
• East Street
  Old Dragon Diner - Speak to Grace.
• Downtown
  Ignis - Event in the lobby.
• Station Street
  Crossbell Station - Car Magazine on the bench. (Shine Color for the Car)
  
• Government District
  CSPD Head Office - Go to the meeting room and speak to Dudley. Help him track down two VIP, doing this will raise your DP for later. When you have found the two NPCs, return to the office and speak to Dudley. Answer with the 3rd choice "密談をするため" to raise Dudley's Bonding Points.
  
  • Waterfront Area
    Speak to the Ramen Stall Owner.
    Speak to the Blonde Girl (Kunya) (She wanders clockwise on the right side of the map).
  • Entertainment District
    Speak to the Ice Cream Stall Owner.
  • Residential Street
    Speak to Lechternear the Geofront entrance.
  • East Street
    Speak to the Pinwheel vendor at the bottom left corner of the map.
    
  • Central Square
    Go inside the Restaurant (Vancent), and speak to Kilika on the second floor.

You will find the quest monster in the northwest area of East Crossbell Highway (Middle Area). Use the map as a reference. Boss Name [EN/JP] HP Elemental Efficacy Item Drop Savage Horn x6 サベージホーン x6 8267 (Nightmare) 125, 100, 75, 100 U-Material (40%), Beast Flesh (40%) This battle can be easy if you are prepared with faint resistant accessories. All physical attacks from the bosses will cause faint. If you have the accessories equipped, it should be just a regular boss fight. Another powerful tool to use is your combination crafts, if you can hit all of the bosses at once, with two uses, they should all be dead. After the battle, you will obtain a Combination Craft for Randy and Noel.

Quest Name	Bracer Training Request / 遊撃士訓練への参加要請
Go to Amorica Village. and enter the inn. Speak to Lynne or Aeolia on the table to the left. If your playing on Nightmare difficulty, it would be highly recommended to equip death resistant accessory on Lloyd and your main healer. When your ready to fight, select the first choice to start the request. The first battle will be a 2 vs 2 battle. Select the partner of your choice, my preference would be Elie. 1st Battle - Boss Name [EN/JP] HP Elemental Efficacy Item Drop Bracer Lynne 遊撃士リン 10349 (Nightmare) 100, 100, 100, 100 N/A Bracer Aeolia 遊撃士エオリア 9052 (Nightmare) 100, 100, 100, 100 N/A This battle difficulty is based entirely on your setup and your partner. I would suggest having Lloyd go in the very front, so the two Bracers will focus on attacking Lloyd. While the extra character can provide backup. If you're using Elie, you should have her cast her offensive arts to while she is in the far back, and offer backup healing if Lloyd is unable to heal himself. Noel can do the same and can provide additional firepower from the rear. When Lynne's HP drop to 50% or lower, she might use one of her techniques that can cause instant death. Aeolia can also heal when their HP is low, there is also a low chance of her reviving her partner. After this battle, Aeolia will heal all your HP, and will demand a rematch with your full team. You are given the choice to pick your support member. 2nd Battle - Boss Name [EN/JP] HP Elemental Efficacy Item Drop Bracer Lynne 遊撃士リン 14513 (Nightmare) 100, 100, 100, 100 N/A Bracer Aeolia 遊撃士エオリア 12695 (Nightmare) 100, 100, 100, 100 N/A The second battle is actually easier on lower difficulty levels with your full team. However, if you're playing on Nightmare mode, this battle will a complete nightmare. On a lower difficulty level, you can actually finish both Bracers if you use three combinations crafts. The overall battle is exactly the same as the first one, except the Bracers will have far higher stats. In Nightmare mode, the stat increases let each Bracer act extremely fast, which gives you very limited turns. If you have Wazy and Noel on your team, you can actually use them to debuff Lynne's stats. It won't work on Aeolia as she is immune to everything. I would suggest you to focus on dealing with Aeolia first, it will prevent her from healing. Then Lynne last. If you manage to win both battles, you will get 2 bonus DP. Also Lloyd's Accel Rush craft will be upgraded into Raging Spin after this battle.

Ch. 2 - Day 2 (Part B)

After you have completed the three story quest, do the main hidden quest.

The next quest is available after you have completed the Lost Kitten Search Quest. However this quest is exclusive to the Vita version, if you are playing the PSP or PC version, please skip this section as it doesn't exist in those versions.

Q19

Return to the SSS Building for an event. Afterwards, leave to see another event. There is actually a hidden side quest available. Go to St. Ursula Medical College and enter the medical office. Go to the room on the north end (Upper left corner), speak to Arios or Duke Albert to start the side quest.

Q20

Quest Name	Materials for an Antidote / 解毒薬の材料調達 [Hidden]
When you have accepted the request, you will automatically be transported to Ursula Byroad. You will need to find the Alma Fungus, which is located all the way in the bottom of the map. After you have picked up the mushroom, a battle will occur. You need to protect the Duke if he gets K.O. it will be game over. When you have defeated all the monster, the quest will end.
Reward	1000 Mira, 5 DP

Return to Crossbell City, and go to the Crossbell Airport which is located at the south entrance. This is a point of no return, so make sure you have completed all of your quest and optional events. When you're ready, go inside the Airport. After the event scene, go to West Street and enter Grimwood Law Office, speak to Pete to receive a copy of Sunshine Agnes #4.

Then go to Residential Street and enter Geofront B to continue with the main story.

As you're inside Geofront B, your party will notice the shortcut to the end is blocked. Go to the next area, then follow the upper right path all the way to the end. It will lead outside to West Street, in here you can pick up the Zwei 2 Penguin, a collectible item for KeA's Room. Return to where you came from and follow the bottom right path this time and when the path splits. take the entrance to the right. In here you will find a Marble Ring in a treasure chest. Exit and take the upper right path. Keep going straight until the path splits, take the north (left) exit, you will find an EP charge II in a chest. Leave and take the upper right exit, take the elevator to the second part of Geofront B.

Go to the path on the right, and then take the north path until you have reached to a corridor. In here take the upper right exit, you will find a Fragment in the treasure chest. Exit out and take the bottom left path, until you reach the end, and then take the path on your right, you will find a valve, examine it to lower or raise the water level. Just near the Valve, there is a monster chest that contains the Effort quartz. Now if you have raised the water level, go to the platform in the center, and take the bottom right exit to return to the starting area, you can pick up the Gladiator Belt from the monster chest on the right. Return to the previous area where the center platform was. Then to the right, there is some Sepith in a treasure chest. Take the right exit again, examine the valve nearby to lower the water level, go to the next area until you see an orbment charging station. Heal up, if you have Freeze Resistant Accessories, equipped them. As soon as you go to the next room, a boss battle will occur.

This boss can be very hard or easy depending on if you have Freeze resistant accessories equipped. As soon as this battle starts, you are ambushed by eight condors. Each attack they do will cause freeze. Dudley is one of the party members that come with a Freeze resistant accessory already equipped. If you have that prepared, you can counter attack all eight condors with your area attack skills as you can easily hit them all within range. If the condors' HP drop down below 50%, they might start using their dash skills which can cause AT Delay to your party. If you do not have Freeze resistant accessory for this battle, the best thing you do is to have Elie set her S-Craft to Aura Rain, so she can heal all status ailments and counterattack the condors when your party is healthy.

After you have cleared the boss fight, you can also find a fishing spot on the upper right corner of the map. Save your game, and head to the next room, When you're all prepared select the first choice to enter. For the next event, there will be a boss fight that involves the Pomto! mini game. If you manage to win, you will get a 2 bonus DP. When the choice prompt comes in, select the third choice "それ以外の勢力" too raise your DP.

Ch. 2 - Day 3

When you resume control, read all the request and then go to the SSS Roof to feed the cat. Because Tio has joined your party you might also want to upgrade her gear as well. Go visit the following locations listed below to see all the optional events and important items.

Events within Crossbell City

• Government District
  CSPD Head Office - Speak to Fran twice. She will give you access to her account for the Pomto! mini game. Note: (This event will raise Fran's Bonding Points)
  Library - Speak to Kea Note: (This event will raise KeA's Bonding Points)
• Downtown
  Lotus Heights - Speak to Rixia in her apartment. Note: (This event will raise Rixia's Bonding Points) (This event will also change Ilya's conversation in Arc en Ciel)
• Central Square or West Street
  General Store - Can purchase Crossbell Times #3. Note: If you have missed the 2nd chapter of Sunshine Agnes, you can purchase a copy at Tally's General Store.

Events outside of Crossbell City

Go to Mainz Mountain Road, and go through the tunnel area to where the Moon Temple is located. You will see an event by the Moon Temple barricade You will notice the front gate of the Temple will be locked. Take the entrance way on the right side of the map. Now return back to the previous map, and takes the stairs on the left, enter on the top center. You will find another orbment station, heal up and go to the next room for an event. 1st Battle - Boss Name [EN/JP] HP Elemental Efficacy Item Drop Arch Devil アークデーモン 19828 (Nightmare) 75, 0, 50, 25, x100, x195, x100 Burst Orb (100%) This boss mainly has two attacks, it will either hit a single target really hard or cast Shadow Blade on your party members. Overall this boss fight is pretty easy compared to the other boss fight so far. Just make sure you have a party member that can impede the boss's spell casting. If you don't have that ready, then make sure you heal your party after your hit by it. If you have Tio in your party, you can have her cast Zero Field to block any damage. To get the best damage out of this boss, just cast space element arts against it.

You will find the quest monster in the by traveling to the west area Ursula Byroad. Use the map as a reference. Boss Name [EN/JP] HP Elemental Efficacy Item Drop Giant Drome x6 ビッグドローメ x6 8678 (Nightmare) 155, 100, 145, 100 U-Material (100%) For this battle, you should have your party spread out. These Giant Dromes are mostly focused on casting wind spells that can cause seal. If you have Wazy or Lloyd in your party, try to impede the Drome's spell casting. Use Elie or Tio's healing crafts as a quick way of restoring health if you're hurt. If you have the art, A-Reflect (x6) it will come in handy for this fight. If not you can always use Tio's Zero Field to nullify damage or Elie to fully heal your party with her Aura Rain S-craft. After the battle, you will obtain a Combination Craft for Elie and Wazy.

Quest Name	Search for Missing Collection / 消えたコレクションの捜索
Go to the IBC building and speak to the receptionist Lanfe. You will receive a Primary Card, now take the elevator on the right side of the building and go to the 16th floor. There is also a car magazine in this floor. Examine it to get the World Color. (Note: This is the only period, you get to the 16th Floor). Go to the main office on the left to start the quest. Now find the missing doll from the location listed below. These dolls must be found in order. SSS Building - Sergei's Desk. Amorica Old Road - Small Shed on the private property area. Crossbell Cathedral - Speak to Father Elarda Bellguard Gate - Hidden on the railway tracks (Left side of Bellguard Gate) near some storage crates. IBC - B5F, near the computer terminal.

Orchis Tower

When you're done all side activities and want to proceed with the main story, go to the Orchis Tower. Orchis Tower is a point of no return, so make sure you have finished all your side quest and have purchased all the equipment you need.

Note: It is highly recommended you cook a failure dish until you receive cat food from it, you will need it for the next issue of Sunshine Agnes on the next chapter.

When you regain control, go to the left side of the lobby and examine the car magazine on the left. You will get the Cool Color for your car.

Head to the room on the right to see an event. Afterwards, you will be in the 36th floor. Speak to the following NPCs.

• 36F - Northeast Room - (Lechter)
• 35F - Center Left Room - (Kilika)
• 35F - Center Right Room - (Julia and Muller)
• 34F - Northwest Room - (Deputy Pierre) Note:

After you have spoken to everyone listed above, head to the elevator for an event scene. As you regain control, go near the elevator room for an event. Head upstairs and go to the 35th floor, then go to the center hallway, go to the left room to see an event with Arios and Kilika. Then go to the elevator area for a scene. Afterwards. go upstairs to the 36th floor to see an event with Lechter. You can find Duke Albert, Klaudia, Julia, and Muller on this floor. If you speak to the guard by the northwest room, an event scene will occur. Then head to the east wing, and speak to the guard on the northeast. After the event, head to the stair area,

This boss fight is just the same as fighting your regular enemies. Keep your party spread out so they don't get hit all at once from their missile attack. Each Tri-Attacker is weak against water arts. You can use that to finish them off quickly. Also status ailment such as blind works great against these mobs.

Take the south path and meet up with Dudley and Arios. Then take the left exit to Geofront D.

Heal with the orbment station, then go downstairs and keep going south until you see the event on the bridge. Take the south exit again, you will find a White Canvas inside a treasure chest. Exit and take the room on the right. Then go to the room on the north, open the chest on the corner to get an EP Charge II. Leave the room, and go take the south exit, go all the way downstairs to the next area. Take the north exit, and then go to the room on your right, open the chest to get some Sepith. Leave and take the north exit, and take the northeast exit, go all the way to the east side of the map, when you see a set of stairs, take the bottom one first, go all the way to the west side of the map, you will find a Celestial Balm inside a chest. Return to the set of stairs, and go upstairs and take the exit on the right. Go to the north room, open the chest to get a Combat Suit. Leave the room, you can find another chest hidden under the stairs. Open it to get some Distress Noodles. Then go all the way upstairs, until you see an elevator panel. Examine it to move to the south side of the map. Go downstairs, and take the south route all the way to the end, you will find a chest that contains a Tearal Balm. Leave and go to the east room for an event. Take the path on the bottom right corner. Then go take the northwest exit, you will find a Monster Chest that contains the Shield Breaker quartz. Leave, and take the southeast route all the way downstairs to the next area. Follow the linear path until you see another elevator panel. Examine it to move to the next area. Go to the room on the west, then move upstairs, you will see an orbment station, heal up and prepare for the upcoming battle.

This boss fight is similar to fighting a monster chest battle. You'll be fighting eight terrorist at once. It might take a while to get to your turn, when your turn comes up, use skills that can area attack to hit as much enemies as possible. The Terrorist are also weak against the Seal ailment. If your HP gets low, have Elie or Tio use their AOE heal abilities. Overall this boss fight isn't difficult compared with the battles you have previously faced.

This is an extremely long boss fight. The Armored Car is immune to arts attack and has a ton of HP, it will take a very long time to finish this fight. Start the battle by wiping out the small units first. You can easily get rid of them by casting water arts. For the main boss, you should have your melee fighters go to the front lines and attack the boss, while support and mage units stay behind. When the boss suffers enough damage, its armor will crack, allowing you to damage it with Arts. If you have a powerful mage setup, this is your best chance to deal the most damage. You can use the Burst function to maximize your damage. The boss will remain stationary for the whole fight, however, it can summon additional robots to aid it.

After the boss fight, go to the room on the right to end the chapter.
