What is the best strategy for getting through the Lightning Peaks and Rainbow Valley scenerios ?

  1. In RCT1 the scenarios of Lightning Peaks and Rainbow Valley are the only two I cannot complete<and with all their restrictions I'm finding I am trying to ignore them>. I DO NOT have the knowledge or will to build underground. I have only used the existing rides and coasters that are already built because of the scenarios time limits. I' m not one for while building anything that I am going to let that distract me and the rest of the park suffers. Building a good design for a coaster <or any other ride that can be designed from scratch> seems to me should take some trial and error to get it just right. I have built trains and monorails to some small success <mainly building them in the sense of a "ride" and not for a transporter. Flat, unadorned land is too much of a "premium" in every scenario. Is there a "secret" place where you can create roller coasters outside of being in a scenario? A place of practice ? Without time <and money> restraints ? Let's face it, even the professionals need time to assemble and certify the rides for safety and revenue means.

  1. There is one scenario without money limits. One way I win is that I build like 40 shuttle loops! It really works and they never get boring and will rack in money!
