Famicom Jump II is the second game in this action/RPG series for the Famicom
console. The game focuses on characters/areas from the Shonen Jump magazine
in Japan (in this case, seven of them). The premise is that the seven heroes
must come together and save the "Jump World" from that evils that loom. It is
pretty neat that you can even select the character you start the game with,
though you eventually get everyone in your party. There are random battles
but the fighting is turn-based and you actually move/control your characters
on the battlefield. It is a lengthy game, especially considering the items
you can collect later on, but it really is a fun ride. I would certainly
recommend it!

========
Pre-Game
========

After the title screen, you will come to a menu screen with the following
options:

    Continue (つづきをする)
    New Game (さいしょから はじめる)
    Copy File (ぼうけんのきろくをうつす)
    Erase File (ぼうけんのきろくをけす)
    Text Speed (ひょうじそくどをかえる)

If you are starting a new game, you will be asked to pick your starting
character from the seven heroes. It doesn't really matter THAT much who you
pick, since the game's events still play out in the same way; the only change
is the order in which you visit certain areas, depending on who you picked
first. After you pick a character, you can choose the text speed from 1-8
(1 being fastest, 8 being slowest). The game will then commence.

========
Gameplay
========

As you would expect, this game is played from a top-down perspective. All
actions are done through a command screen, which appears when you press A.
Those commands are as follows:

Speak (はなす): Talk to someone in directly front of you.
Item (どうぐ): View your party member's items, and Use (つかう), Pass (わたす)
               or Throw Away (すてる).
Equip (そうび): Change your party member's equipment (weapon and armor) by
                selecting the new piece from their personal inventory.
Search (しらべる): Check the space you currently stand on, open chests, etc.
Power (つよさ): View your current party's status.
Tactics (さくせん): Access the Save (きろく) option, and the Order (たいれつ)
                    screen.

======
Battle
======

As you will see, there are random encounters in this game. They can occur on
the overworld, or in non-town areas (caves, dungeons, etc.). The battles are
turn-based, but you have control of your party's actions AND their movements
on the battlefield. Each party member has a turn, one at a time. You can move
around the playing area a certain amount of spaces in the four directions. If
you press B, a small command menu bubble will appear over that character's
head. The commands you have available are as follows:

    Special (必)
    Defend (防)
    Item (道)
    Attack (攻)

To execute the selected command, press A. If you don't call the command menu,
the default action is to attack. You can not move through other party members
or enemies, or obstructions in the playing field. Once your party has moved,
the enemies will take their turns.

In this game, when you take damage, you lose hearts. Since everyone's power
level (or HP) is based on a high number, hearts represent those values more
easily. As you run low on health, your character will turn purple; this means
they have two hearts remaining. If they turn red, only one heart remains. If
all of their hearts are gone, that character is defeated in battle. Don't
worry; if you win the battle, they will be revived! You can recover hearts
by using Medicine (くすりびん).

Through the course of battle, there are a variety of status ailments that can
be inflicted upon you. You will know you have one by the color your character
turns. You can use specific items to cure these ailments, but most of them
disappear following the end of the battle (poison carries over, though). The
status ailments are as follows:

    Freeze (blue): Frozen in place, can not act.
    Petrify (gray): Turn to stone, can not act.
    Poison (blue): Lose one heart prior to each turn.
    Seal (N/A): Can not use special techniques in battle.
    Sleep (yellow): Regain one heart prior to each turn, but can not act.

If all enemies are defeated, your party will receive experience points and
Zenny (the game's currency). Also, your party's health will be fully restored
so you won't have to waste items outside of battle! However, status ailments
carry over, so you need items to cure them. If your party is defeated, you
return to the Great Temple, and can warp back to your previous location, at
the cost of losing half your total money.

============
Active Party
============

In this game, you can only have three members in your party at any one time.
Of course, since there are seven heroes, that makes things interesting. The
unused heroes will be located in the northeast room at the Great Temple. Talk
to the person behind the counter to swap out your current heroes or bring in
a different hero. Fortunately, you don't need to have a hero in your party
for them to gain experience/levels; everyone gains! That way the game is kept
balanced and minimizes the amount of grinding later on.

This can also be very useful for storing important items you can not sell or
throw away (leave them with inactive party members).

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
-=  5. Walkthrough  -=
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

NOTE: For this walkthrough, I assume you started the game with Goku, so the
      sequence of events is based on his path. You do visit every area no
      matter who you pick, just at different times! The different path is
      valid until you have gathered all seven heroes, at which point the
      game is the same.

============
Great Temple
============

The game begins in the Great Temple, where you listen to a voice talking to
your chosen character. It tells you to seek out the other six heroes around
the Jump World. After that, you will have control, so go south to exit the
room. You will be in a courtyard area outside of the temple. The temple
itself has three entrances, so go into the western one for now. You can't
access the warp in this room, so head upstairs to the second floor. Talk to
the old man and open the chest behind him to receive the Dragon Radar.

Head back outside and talk to the girl in the middle area. Answer yes to her
and you will receive 7 Vials, which can be used to recover your health in
battle. They can also be refilled at item shops for a small fee. After that,
the southwest building is a bank where you can deposit money which will be
safe if you die in battle and have to start again. Of course you don't have
money yet, so this is not a big deal.

Go into the southeast building and you will see seven warps, with only your
character's warp room open for now. So, step into the warp and exit the
building when you emerge to reach the overworld.

=========
Overworld
=========

Out here, head to the southwest and you will see a town. Enter it.

=======
Pafutto
=======

When you enter the town, you will see someone lying on the ground, dying. Go
to the northeast area and enter the house, where you will meet ChiChi of
Dragon Ball fame. Talk to her and she will ask you to rescue Gohan. Leave the
house and go up the steps to the northwest. At the top of the cliff, enter
the small house on the right. Follow the passage through to reach a chest
containing 40 Zenny.

Back outside, the item shop is the large building near the town entrance. If
you go west across the bridge, you can visit Bulma in the west house. The
weapon shop is in the northern cave. You already have the cheaper weapon, but
if you fight around to get 200 Zenny, you can buy the Iron Rod. Anyway, when
you are done here, exit town.

=========
Overworld
=========

It is highly recommended that you spend some time in the area fighting some
enemies. That way you can get a good feel for how the battle system works,
and more importantly to get to Level 2. You also want to earn some money in
order to buy an upgraded weapon later. When you get to Level 2, head west of
town and you will see the landscape change to a hilly one. Go northwest and
you will come to a castle.

=============
Pirafu Castle
=============

As soon as you arrive, there are two guards in the way. Approach them and you
will have to fight them (as a note, you must have the Dragon Radar to proceed
here). Defeat the two Pirafu Soldiers, and you will gain access to the castle
itself. Make your way around to the northern area of the floor by going west
and north through the halls. In the back area, you will find two more Pirafu
Soldiers. Beat them and go upstairs to 2F.

Here, go south and west to confront another Pirafu Soldier. Continue along
the path to reach some stairs, but you must beat yet another soldier to reach
them. Head upstairs to 3F. A woman named Mai will talk to you as soon as you
arrive, so follow her to the back. Talk to Pirafu in the middle and you will
then have to fight two more Pirafu Soldiers. Defeat them as usual, then you
will face three Pirafu Machines.

Following that fight, Pirafu and company will disappear. You will receive the
first Dragon Ball as well! Before you leave here, step on the floor switch in
the back, which will unlock the basement prison. Make your way back down to
the first floor of the castle. Once you are down there, go to the southwest
corner and walk through the door to open it. Head down the steps to reach the
basement. The prison is now unlocked, so go forward and talk to Gohan, who
will now follow you. Go back upstairs and exit the castle, then return east
to Pafutto.

=======
Pafutto
=======

Back in town, go northeast to ChiChi's house, where Gohan will be reunited
with his mother. Talk to them both, then exit the house and buy the upgraded
weapon for Goku if you haven't already. Then, leave town and head back west
to the Pirafu Castle.

=============
Pirafu Castle
=============

At the castle once more, go straight ahead and down the stairs. You will be
in a room with two statues. Search the left statue and some hidden stairs
will appear. Go down them to enter a hidden passage. Follow it to the end and
go up the steps to emerge in a new area.

=========
Overworld
=========

Outside, go north and east along the path to reach the town of Ruruto. As a
note, if you started the game with Taru-Ruto, this is your first stop.

======
Ruruto
======

When you enter this town, go straight ahead and enter the house next door to
the item shop. Talk to the woman in the left room named Ria. After you do
that, leave the house and make your way to the northeast area. You will see
an area surrounded by trees; enter it and you will reach an amusement park
area. Go forward and talk to the vendor, Mattsuan, and agree to help him
gather ingredients for the Octopus Dumplings (たこやき).

So, leave the park and head to the southeast area of town. Talk to the woman
in red in the right house to receive Flour (こむぎこ). In the house next door
to her, talk to the man and you will get the Pickled Ginger (べにしょうが).
With both of these ingredients, go back to the park and talk to Mattsuan. He
will take them, and another man will come talk to Mattsuan. Say yes when
prompted, then leave the park.

While you are still in town, visit the house in the northwest area. There are
four sets of stairs in here and a door you can not open just yet. Follow the
steps you can take and you will reach the southwest room, where you can open
a chest containing a Grenade. Also in town, you will find weapon and armor
shops, but they only carry equipment for Taru-Ruto, so it's pointless to buy
anything for now. When you are done, head out of town.

=========
Overworld
=========

Outside, head to the east and south by following the grassy path. Far to the
east, you will find a small cave along the shore. Enter that cave.

================
East Ruruto Cave
================

In here, go around the corner and head east to the first intersection. First,
head east to reach some stairs leading down to B2. Go down them and open the
chest in that room to receive an Antidote. Go back upstairs and head north at
the split this time. To the northwest, go around the small pond and open the
chest in the northwest corner to find 20 Zenny. On the east side of this
floor, there are three paths you can take. If you take the middle one, you
will find another chest with 20 Zenny. Take the northeast path to reach steps
leading down to B2.

Go west and you will see a path leading into a darkened room to the north. Go
in there and open the chest to get a Grenade. Go back to the main hall and
take the southbound path to some stairs. Go down to B3 and open the chest on
that island to find 20 Zenny. Go back upstairs and head to the northwest
corner of the floor. Go up the stairs in the middle of the narrow path, and
open the chest in that area to find a Teleport Machine.

Next, head back downstairs and continue southward. Follow the path to the
room at the end, and go down to another section of B3. Down here, go around
the path to the very end, where you will find a chest. Open it and you will
find that it is a trap, and the Octopus Devil boss will emerge. If you need
help, check out that section of the guide. When the battle is over, you will
claim the Octopus Leg (たこのあし) from the chest. With that done, make your
way back out of the cave and return to Ruruto.

======
Ruruto
======

Back in Ruruto, head to the park in the northeast area. Talk to Mattsuan and
give him the Octopus Leg, and you will finally receive the Octopus Dumplings.
Talk to Taru-Ruto, who is sitting to the left of the cart, and give him the
dumplings. Taru-Ruto will then join your party, and you will receive the
second Dragon Ball! Exit the park area and go into the house next door to the
item shop again, and talk to Ria. After that, go to the weapon/armor shops
and equip your new ally before heading out of town.

=========
Overworld
=========

Outside, head directly east of the town. You will see a single tree in the
area ahead. Stand on the space directly south of it and you will warp to a
new area (you can use this warp again to return to the Ruruto region). When
you arrive in front of the tree at the other end, head southwest to reach the
next town. As a quick note, this is your first stop if you began the game as
Jojo.

=========
Sutangari
=========

Here, you will find that the residents have all been turned to stone! Go
ahead and talk to the man standing next to the well, then go north and talk
to the person laying on the ground. The shops in town are not open at the
moment, due to the whole stoning incident. Before you leave, enter the house
on the west side of town. Go down the steps inside and open the chest in the
basement to get a Teleport Machine. After that, leave the town.

=========
Overworld
=========

From Sutangari, go southward along the west coast. When you come to a desert,
you won't be able to walk across that landscape. Go around it and you will
see an oasis in the southeast corner of the desert. Walk into the space with
no tree to enter the area.

=====
Oasis
=====

In this area, walk to the east side of the oasis to find a man in green. That
is Jojo; talk to him and he will run off to the east. Before you go, you can
talk to the man in red to buy items if needed.

=========
Overworld
=========

From the oasis, continue to the southeast. Cross the first bridge leading to
the east, then head north and cross the second bridge. Continue northbound
and you will reach a cave; head inside.

===================
East Sutangari Cave
===================

In this complex hideout, go forward to the locked door. You can't do anything
about it yet, so go left and follow the path leading northward. At the back
end of the room, go west and open the chest in that room to get 30 Zenny. Go
all the way east to the end of the hall and enter the east room. Take the
Antidote from the chest and head down the stairs to the south to B2.

Down here, simply follow the path to the end, and go back upstairs to B1. Up
there again, open the two doors from behind (as a shortcut in case you need
to leave and return again), then go southeast to some new stairs. Go back to
B2 and then onward to B3. In here, take the path going all the way north and
into a darkened room. Open the chest there to get a Grenade. Exit that room
and head west through the first intersection.

When you reach the part where there are two paths leading to darkened rooms,
go into the southern room. Open the chest there to get a Teleport Machine.
Leave that room and go west to the end, and head all the way north to a chest
containing 20 Zenny. Head back south and east, and go into the northern dark
room this time. Follow the path to some stairs leading down to the bottom
level.

On the bottom floor, go north and you will see two more people turned to
stone in the hallway. Continue into the next room and talk to the man inside.
Jojo will charge into the room and defeat this man (Stand Messenger) in
battle. If you started the game as Jojo, you manually have to fight this guy,
so check out the Bosses section if you really need help.

Anyhow, Jojo will leave after the battle otherwise. So, return to the
previous room and you will see that the people are no longer petrified. Talk
to them both and they will return to town. With that done, make your way out
of the cave and return to town yourself.

=========
Sutangari
=========

When you arrive, you will find that everyone is back to normal. Enter the
northeast house and talk to Jojo inside. He will join your party and you will
receive the third Dragon Ball as well! After that, talk to the old man in
here as well, then exit the house. Before you head out, visit the now open
weapon shop in the southwest corner and buy the Battle Spike for Jojo. Now
that you are ready, exit town.

=========
Overworld
=========

As soon as you step outside, you will ride in a buggy to the south. This is
the only way to cross the desert region, and you will automatically be taken
across there. You will stop at, and automatically enter, the town of Sabada.

======
Sabada
======

In this town, there is not much you can do at the moment. One thing to note
is that if you want to ride back across the desert, you can enter the house
in the southeast area and talk to the woman inside. When you exit town, the
buggy will take you back to Sutangari. Anyway, head out of town for now.

=========
Overworld
=========

It should be noted that to the west of town is a shrine. If you started the
game with Tar-chan, this would be your starting area. Anyway, make your way
to the southeast along the grassy path. Turn southward when you see the water
and you will see a house. Enter it.

=====
House
=====

Here, enter the house and talk to Tar-chan (the man standing in front of the
monkey). Say yes to him, then exit the house. You will find a boy out there;
talk to him and then go inside to talk to Tar-chan again. This time, they
will all run out of the house and leave the area altogether. Talk to the boy
once more before leaving as well.

=========
Overworld
=========

From the house, head directly westward. Follow the narrow path into a forest
area between the mountains.

===================
South Sabada Forest
===================

In this area, follow the path until you reach the first intersection. Go west
and open the chest at the end to get a Grenade. Return to that intersection
and go east this time. In the small alcove directly eastward, there is a
second chest with an Antidote inside. Continue south and east around the path
and talk to the old man. You will have to fight a Hunter Underling here. Beat
him and go down the stairs behind him to proceed.

Go through the small cave and exit via the steps at the other end. Back on
the surface, head east and you will confront two more people in the way. Kill
these Hunter Underlings to clear the way. Along the way, open the chest to
get a Teleport Machine. Then, go through the cave via the steps and continue
through the forest until you reach a building. Enter it and you will find a
man lying on the ground. Go around him and go down the steps to reach a new
room.

Follow the hallway to the back of the room, where you will meet Tar-chan once
again. If you started the game as Tar-chan, you will have to fight three
Hunter Underlings and a regular Hunter; view the Bosses section if you need
help. Following this battle scene, everyone will leave the room. So, follow
them back outside of the building. The hunters will cut through to the west,
revealing a new path. Follow them and talk to Tar-chan, who will then join
your party and give you the fourth Dragon Ball.

With a four-person party for the moment, continue down the steps and through
the small cave. At the other end, go west to exit the forest via the back
way.

=========
Overworld
=========

Outside, Tar-chan will return to the Great Temple. Since you can only have
three members in your active party, you will need to go back to the Great
Temple and swap out members if you want (the shrines I've been pointing out
will lead there). Anyhow, from the forest, head to the southwest and you will
find another town. To the east of here is another shrine if you started off
as Momo. For now, enter the town.

========
Sakigake
========

In this town, go straight to the back area, where you will find a school
building. In there, go forward and take the steps leading to 2F. Up there, go
through two doors to the south and talk to Momo standing at the edge of the
window. He will jump out (he is okay, don't worry). Head back downstairs to
1F and you will spot Momo in the western room. Enter that room and talk to
Momo again. This time, he and Jukuchou will challenge you to complete some
tests before leaving the room.

Follow them to the far east room, where two men stand guard in front of the
stairs. Talk to Momo and they will go upstairs, but only your leading party
member can continue. Change the order if you want someone other than Goku (or
whoever heads your party currently) to go, then head upstairs. Up there, talk
to the man in the way and he will let you face the first challenge.

The first challenge requires you to get to the back of the room while evading
the boulders rolling from above. If you touch a boulder, you will fall into
a room below and will have to try again. Stay towards the middle since the
side columns have fast-moving boulders. Slowly but surely, get to the top
corner and continue to the next room.

When you reach the next guard, your second challenge will be ready. When you
enter the next room, take note of its layout and where the exit is. The
lights will then go out, and you need to navigate through to the exit. Use
the light tiles as guidance. There is a second room you need to get through
as well, this time while avoiding pits in the floor. After you survive that
challenge, continue onward to the third and final room.

The final challenge involves fighting a series of increasingly tough enemies.
You will face a Gunner, an Iron Man, and finally the Casting Net bosses. Once
you defeat them all, you will be back upstairs in the room with Jikuchou and
Momo. At this point, Momo will join your party and you will receive the fifth
Dragon Ball!

Before you leave town, head into the shops and replenish your Vial supply.
The building next door to the item shop sells armor and weapons (for Jojo and
Momo), so take advantage of that now. When you are ready, leave the town.

=========
Overworld
=========

From the town, follow the coast to the southwest. At the tip, you will find a
small town, so head into it.

======
Harbor
======

Here at the harbor, simply walk onto the boat to board it. You will then sail
far across the map to a new location. When you reach the other harbor, talk
to the people and leave via the north exit.

=========
Overworld
=========

Out here again, make your way to the northeast. When you come to the next
town, enter it. As a quick note, if you started off with Taison, the shrine
will be to the east and this is your first stop.

======
Teiken
======

Upon entering town, walk across the bridge and approach the school building
to the north. Walk through the gates to enter the school area. Before you go
inside, head to the northwest corner and talk to Taison, who is hiding back
there. Say yes and he will join your group for now. Head into the school and
go to the northeast corner, and head upstairs via those steps.

On the second floor, go down the hall and enter the room where a man is
blocking the entry way. Talk to him and he will move, so enter and speak with
the girl, Kazumi. After the conversation, Taison will leave. Follow him back
downstairs and into the western room. Talk to Taison in there and he will
reveal some hidden steps. Go down into the enemy-infested basement and head
through the next few rooms. When you reach the third room, there are guards
blocking the center door.

In here, you can either go to the center, or take the left/right paths. First
head to the right and go down the steps to the room there. Open both chests
to get 50 Zenny and a Grenade. Head back upstairs and approach the center
doors, and you will have to deal with the tough/high defense Guard Robo boss
enemies. Defeat them, then enter that center area. In the next room, talk to
the people in the middle area and you will face the Fighter boss.

Following that fight, go into the last room, where you will find a girl being
cornered by an enemy. Defeat the Work Soldier boss here, and Taison will run
into the room to rescue her. After they all leave, open the chests to get a
Teleport Machine (the other is empty), then make your way back upstairs to
the first floor again.

You will find that you can not yet exit the building. So, go up the stairs in
the northeast corner. Go into the bottom room on the right side and you will
find Taison and company. Talk to the Sensei (middle person on left side) and
you will receive the Freeze Capsule. Taison will also join you, giving you
the sixth Dragon Ball as a result! With that, go downstairs and exit the
building.

After the warm send-off outside of the school, go to the weapon/armor shops
on the west side of town and upgrade Taison's gear. Replenish your Vial
supply at the item shop, then exit town.

=========
Overworld
=========

Out here, head north from town and you will come to a small lake. Use the
Freeze Capsule and you will literally freeze the lake, allowing you to walk
across it. Continue north and west along the path, and you will see a shrine.
This is the starting point if you began with Ryotsu. Continue west and enter
the town of Kochikame.

=========
Kochikame
=========

Begin here by going straight ahead and entering the police station in the
center of town. Talk to Nakagawa on the left side, then leave the station and
go to the southeast area of town. Enter the house there and head directly up
to the second floor. Talk to Ryotsu, who is lying on the ground in the back
room, and he will join you. Open the chests to get an Antidote and a Teleport
Machine before you go.

Back outside, head to the police station again with Ryotsu in tow. There, he
will be reunited with his father and dog. After Ryotsu runs out of the room,
leave the station and the town as well.

=========
Overworld
=========

From here, cross the nearby bridge and head southward. You will see a small
island with a building on it. Cross that bridge and enter the next area.

=================
Abandoned Factory
=================

In this area, go north to the first building, which is guarded by an officer.
Continue east and you will see a second building with the dog from earlier on
the high perch above the entrance. Go into that building.

Inside, go all the way left and up, then all the way across to the northeast
corner of the floor. Go up the stairs there to reach 2F. Up here, go left and
you will see three narrow paths you can take. Follow the bottom path to reach
a chest containing 40 Zenny. Next, go around the perimeter of the room to the
southern end. Ignore the first path leading into a southern room, and keep
going east to some stairs. Go up to 3F.

Up here, ignore the nearby steps and make your way across this room. At the
far end, go around the corner and open the chest to get a Teleport Machine,
then go up the steps to the east. On the top floor, go forward and you will
find the dog from before. Follow it northward and you will fall out of the
building!

Back outside, go west and enter the other building since the guard has moved
aside. In the second factory, cross the room and go up to the second floor.
Go south when you enter that room and take the middle path to reach a chest
containing an Antidote. Continue along the southern path and go down the
steps you see. Go around to the hole in the corner, and drop down to the
basement level.

You will see the dog cornered by a couple of Fighters here. Approach and
defeat them, then drop into the hole ahead. Follow the dog through the next
few rooms and eventually back outside of the factory. Once outside, the dog
will collapse, so talk to the guards and you will go to a nearby room. After
the conversation, you will receive a Salary. Take it and leave the room, then
exit the factory area and return to Kochikame.

=========
Kochikame
=========

Back in town, go to the police station. Talk to Ryotsu and you will give up
the Salary; in exchange he will join your party and you will have the seventh
Dragon Ball at last! Exit the station and head out of town when you are ready
to return to the Great Temple!

============
Great Temple
============

Once you arrive here again, listen to the conversation at the altar. When you
have control again, exit the room. If you go all the way south, you can exit
through the front gates. It should be noted that if you go in the northeast
door outside of the temple, you can talk to a person behind the counter and
switch your currently active party members. Even if someone is not in your
current party, they still gain experience, so keep that in mind! When you are
ready, head south to exit the temple area.

=========
Overworld
=========

When you step outside, a dragon will appear and grant a wish since you have
the seven Dragon Balls. The wish you are granted is randomly selected by
pressing A. Once you select your first wish, the dragon will disappear. A new
set of seven Dragon Balls will be dispersed across the world (over the next
area you will be exploring at least). View the Dragon Balls section of this
guide for detailed locations as to where each can be found as you proceed.

Anyway, from the Great Temple, head directly southward and enter the town you
will come across.

=======
Manooru
=======

In this town, you will find that the weapon and armor shops carry upgrades to
all of your characters. Take the time to upgrade their armor and weapons (at
least of your current party), and sell off some unnecessary items. Then, go
into the eastern house and talk to the women inside. After you exit, you will
see people lying on the ground outside. Head to the southwest corner and the
building there will be accessible. Go in and climb down to enter the sewers.

==============
Manooru Sewers
==============

Down here, start by taking the westbound path at the intersection. Follow it
until you see a small room, and enter that room. Go downstairs and head all
the way across to the east side of the chamber. Take those stairs back up and
exit that room. When you emerge, go around the corner and you will see the
dog across the way. Follow it to the next intersection, where you will see it
run into a room. Before you give chase, go south and enter the room there. Go
through the next couple of areas to reach the island with a chest on it; open
it to receive the Lion Thunder item.

Go back to the intersection where you last saw the dog, and continue to the
north. Head into the room at the end, and approach the dog once more. It will
stay in the corner, so proceed northward. In the next area, go forward and
you will be confronted by three Giant Rats. If you have Antidotes and focus
on one at a time, you will be in good shape here, especially if your party is
around Level 8-9 at this point.

After you win, go back into the room and the dog will decide to follow you.
So, make your way through the sewers and return to the town at the surface.

=======
Manooru
=======

As soon as you exit the building where the sewer entrance is, the dog will be
reunited with its owner, Marin. If you talk to Marin again, you will receive
a Dragon Ball! With that done, exit town.

=========
Overworld
=========

From Manooru, continue to the southwest along the straightforward path. You
will soon come to the town called Seller, so enter it.

======
Seller
======

Here, first visit the weapon shop and upgrade your party's weapons. Then, go
to the northeast area of town to find a small pond. Walk around to the north
side of it, then walk directly northward to find a hidden area. Take the path
to find a shelter building. Climb into it and talk to the man named Grand who
is lying in bed. Say yes and he will give you the Soldier's Clothes, which
your lead character will automatically wear (you will see why shortly).

After that, leave the shelter and get out of town.

=========
Overworld
=========

From the town of Seller, head northward through a mountainous region. Go
north and cross a bridge, and continue through the marshy terrain to find a
building. Go into that area.

==============
Marsh Building
==============

In this area, go forward and talk to the guard standing in front of the door.
Since you are wearing the soldier's clothing, he will recognize you as a
fellow soldier and move aside. Inside, go down the steps and continue through
the cave to reach the lower level. In the next room, you will be met by two
soldiers. Go around them and enter the following room, and go forward to the
green enemy in the middle of the room. Read the Bosses section if you need
help in defeating the Gigaurusu.

After the fight, talk to the remaining two people in the room before leaving
as well. Head back out of this building, and return to the town of Seller.

======
Seller
======

Back in Seller, head to the hidden shelter in the northeast area. Enter it
and talk to Grand, who is still in bed in the back room. Say yes to him, then
head back toward the shelter entrance. Talk to the woman closest to the door
(not the one behind the counter), then exit the shelter. Back on the surface,
head into the house in the southeast area; it's the one with two points. Talk
to the girl in the right room and she will give you the Hoipoi Capsule. This
will allow you to summon the buggy to ride across the world map a bit more
quickly, as well as cross the desert terrain. With it, you can exit town.

=========
Overworld
=========

Outside, use the Hoipoi Capsule and make your way southward across the desert
region. At the other side, disembark and enter the town of Poresuta.

========
Poresuta
========

As soon as you enter town, follow the main path to the item shop. You will
see the path turn southward in front of the item shop entrance. Search the
grassy patch just to the right of the path at that corner, and you will find
a Pendant. With it, enter the western house by the entrance to town. Go up
the stairs inside and talk to Ilia, who is standing by the bed. Give her the
Pendant, then leave the house.

While in town, go into the large building towards the center area. Go down to
the basement floor and you will find two chests containing a Panacea and a
Stone Cure. You can visit the weapon shop if you didn't upgrade in the last
town. The armor shop is accessible by talking to the man at the south end of
the pond in the middle of town. It would be wise to upgrade your armor now.
After that, leave town.

=========
Overworld
=========

From Poresuta, head eastward to the coast. Then, go south a slight bit and
enter the cave you see.

==================
East Poresuta Cave
==================

When you arrive here, follow the path and you will see some stairs. Go down
them to B2, and head south at the intersection. In the room at the end, open
the chest to find an Antidote. Head back upstairs to the first level again
and continue along the west path. Go down the stairs at the end to B2, and
keep going down to B3.

In the next room, you will see a wide pit with a narrow path winding across
it. Intentionally fall into the hole and go along the south path. You will
meet the ghost of Maruro, so talk to it and say yes when prompted. After that
is done, drop into the hole to reach level B5. When you land, open the chest
to get a Dragon Ball. With that, you are done here, so head through the next
couple of rooms to reach the wide pit room again, and backtrack to exit the
cave. Once outside, return to Poresuta.

========
Poresuta
========

Back in town, head into the first house and go upstairs. Talk to Ilia again
about the ghost, then exit the house. Visit the shops if you must, otherwise
leave town when you are ready.

=========
Overworld
=========

From here, head southeast towards the cave again. This time, pass it and
follow the path leading westward beyond the mountains. Continue all the way
to the west until you reach an open area. Continue southward through the
forest (if you want a Dragon Ball, it can be found to the west of here) and
cross the bridge when you reach it. Keep going and you will reach a town on
the coast; enter it.

=========
Berry Bay
=========

When you arrive here, go to the west side where you will find a large gray
building. Inside, head down the stairs in the back corner and you will reach
a room with a warp portal. This portal leads back to the Great Temple, so now
you have a valuable shortcut at your disposal! Talk to the scientist in the
same room, then leave.

While in town, head to the smaller gray building in the south-central area.
Inside, talk to the woman behind the counter and she will give you three
options. Choose the middle one (ポイポイやま のぼれ), and stairs will appear
in the corner of the room. Go downstairs and approach the door to open it,
then talk to Dr. Brief and his assistant. Once you do that, leave the
building and head out of town.

=========
Overworld
=========

From town, head directly northward along the western shore. You will soon
come to a forest with a small path leading to a building in the middle of it.
That is the Berry Bay North Base, so enter it.

====================
Berry Bay North Base
====================

In this area, you will see buildings with numbers on them. If you enter the
first small building to the left, there is a chest containing a Grenade in
there. If you go to the building marked "04", you can talk to/fight an enemy
and open another chest to find 600 Zenny. Go all the way to the back area and
enter the building marked "001".

In the first room, go forward through the first intersection and head right
in the center room to find a chest containing a Stone Cure item. Then, go all
the way to the left, following the path through a maze of sorts to reach a
dead end and a chest with an Inryokun inside. Now, go back to the entrance of
this building and take the first eastbound path. Go around the corner and up
the first path to reach a chest containing 200 Zenny.

Continue onward from here and go downstairs into another room. Exit the room
to the left and continue through the straightforward path to the east. At the
end, enter the room and go upstairs to 2F. Approach the center area and you
will have to face off against the Omnipo boss; read that section if you need
help here.

Following the battle, everyone leaves the room. So, head out of here as well
and out of the building altogether. Make your way out of the area and return
to Berry Bay.

=========
Berry Bay

Upon your return, go into the large gray building at the west side. Go up the
stairs and talk to Dr. Brief, who will give you access to the Hoipoi Ship as
thanks! This will work with the Hoipoi Capsule you already have, so head out
of town.

To use the ship, simply stand along the shore facing the water, and use the
Hoipoi Capsule. It will turn into a boat this time, allowing you to cruise
along the water! From the town, head directly eastward across the water.
After a while, you will reach a few small islands. From them, turn to the
south and follow the landscape southwest until you can land (you need to land
on solid ground; shallows do not count).

Once you reach dry land, walk southward through the narrow mountainous path
and you will reach the town of Akes.

====
Akes
====

Here in Akes, talk to the old man on the west side of town. Say yes both
times when he asks and listen to what he has to say. After that, visit the
large department store near the entrance of the town. The middle shop sells
better weapons for only four people, and the left shop sells armor if you did
not upgrade before. When you are ready, exit town.

=========
Overworld
=========

Outside, you will notice that the earth in this region is shaking. Ignore it
as you head northwest to a bridge. Cross it and continue to the far west end
of the land mass there. You will soon reach a cave, so enter it.

===================
Northwest Akes Cave
===================

When you enter the cave, simply continue down to level B2. There, talk to the
man blocking the nearby path and he will move aside. Continue along the path
to the stairs at the end leading down to B3. Down there, go through the first
intersection (both paths lead to the same place). At the next split where you
can go left or right, you can go right to reach stairs which lead to a chest
containing an Earthquake.

If you head left, you can continue onward to find a man standing at the end.
Talk to Mesu and you will engage a simple Earth Hammer enemy. Defeat it and
Mesu will disappear. So, backtrack your way through the cave again. Talk to
the man standing near the entrance, then continue out of the cave and return
to Akes.

====
Akes
====

Back in town, talk to the old man on the west side. He will now give you an
Invitation Card (しょうたいけん), which allows you to ride the train! Enter
the nearby gray building with the open door, and head downstairs. Go through
the turnstiles in the back and go north to reach the train platform. Step on
the upward-facing arrow, and the train will appear. You will automatically
board it. During your ride, an accident will occur and the train will stop.

===============
Evacuation Cave
===============

Since the train can not continue, you must disembark and continue through the
cave. Step through the doorway around the corner to reach the next room. Go
around the path and you will see four possible paths at the north end. Take
the third path from the left and continue onward. In that room, talk to the
girl ahead and the scientist in the left area. If you go down the stairs in
the corner, you will find a warp leading back to the Great Temple.

If you go upstairs, talk to the people sitting at the tables. If you go out
the front door, you will find yourself in an isolated patch of land (there is
a Dragon Ball to be found here though). Otherwise, go back downstairs two
floors. Go back to the area where the girl is standing in front of a hole in
the wall. Talk to her again and she will move aside, allowing you to proceed
into that room.

In here, defeat the Security Robo enemies wandering around, then enter the
room in the middle. In this elevator, approach the controls and say yes to go
down a level. Exit when you arrive, and head south to a four-way intersection
ahead. Go into the west area and head north to reach some stairs. Go down
to the next room, and talk to the old man in there. Say yes and he will move
aside. Push the broken robot ahead to get past, then drop down the hole in
the corner to proceed downward to B5.

From where you land, go right to the intersection. Defeat the Security Robo
and go south, then west at the next path split. Follow that path all the way
around to some stairs leading upward to level B4. Push the broken robot to
the left, then follow the path around to the north end of the room. Go down
the stairs there to return to the bottom floor.

This time, you will arrive in a large room. Go all the way forward and you
will confront Mesu again. He will send five Battle Jacket enemies to attack,
so defeat them quickly. After that, he will send the Robo Tail boss at you,
so read the Bosses section if needed.

After the battle, everyone will leave. Press the switch behind where the boss
was ONCE, then leave the room. Back upstairs, go all the way south through
the maze of sorts, and go up the stairs to B3. You will emerge in the middle
of that four-way intersection. Go west and south, and you will see that the
barrier from earlier is gone. Open the chests to get a Grenade Bomb and a
Mega Grenade. Take the east path after that and go south to find two more
chests containing a total of 2700 Zenny!

With that done, go back to the center area and go north to the elevator.
Search the controls and say yes to go back upstairs. Exit the next room when
you arrive and your party will automatically board the train again. You will
now get to your final destination, so exit the station to the left and go
upstairs to emerge in the town of Dorandoru.

=========
Dorandoru
=========

Here, you will find that there are plenty of cars buzzing around on the many
roads. You can buy new, albeit expensive, armor for your party (it's the
unmarked building next to the weapon shop). In the northwest area of town is
a large gray building. Go all the way upstairs to the top level and talk to
the old man in the back. He will give you the Learning Video 1.

With it, leave the building and make your way out of town.

=========
Overworld
=========

From Dorandoru, head southward. You will find a house near the shore, so go
into that area.

===============
Krillin's House
===============

Here, talk to Krillin, who is standing by the stairs. After a bit of talking,
he will summon Gohan, who will in turn summon a giant monkey creature to
clear the eastern mountains. This will give you a clear path to the shore,
allowing for easy access to/from this area by boat! After the conversations
are over, exit the house.

=========
Overworld
=========

From here, go east and use the Hoipoi Capsule to board the ship. Head east
and south to reach the open body of water (you are now in the bay in the
center of the world map). Make your way to the south and slightly eastward
and you will spot a small island. Dock there and the map will expand. Walk to
the tall tower and you will enter a new area.

=============
Karin's Tower
=============

In this area, you can talk to the people standing around outside. You can
also climb the tower, so walk straight up the tower until you reach a hole in
the clouds at the top. Talk to Karin in the room up there and say yes, then
exit the room and walk/fall back down. There is not much more you can do here
for now, so exit the area.

=========
Overworld
=========

Back outside, set sail from the western end of the island. Sail directly to
the south and you will find some shore with a house on it. Enter the house
and talk to the old men inside. The one on the left will have some useful
information for you. Also, if you go all the way downstairs, you will find a
portal leading to the Great Temple. Anyway, head out of the house and set
sail again.

Make your way directly northward to the island where Karin's Tower is. To the
northeast is a smaller island with a house on it. Dock there and enter the
house. Talk to the turtle inside and it will take you northward to an area
you could not otherwise access. When you arrive, simply exit the cave and you
will emerge on the overworld again. From here, go northward and you will find
a large building. Enter this new area.

==============
Mountain House
==============

In this area, enter the first cave in front of you. Defeat the enemy that
rushes at you, then talk to the boy laying on the ground. Talk to him again
when he gets up, then exit the cave. Go up the steps and enter the second
cave. Defeat the two enemies in there, then open the door and talk to the two
girls inside. Leave the cave and continue upward to the house at the top. Go
inside and you will find two sets of stairs. The basement has a locked door
you can not open yet, so head upstairs to 2F.

On the upper floor, go south to exit. Walk across the balcony and enter the
other door now. Go down the stairs to the first floor again, and exit the
left side of the building. Follow the path to the cave in the northwest
corner, and enter it. In the cave, go east to the path split, and head north
first. Open the chest to get 500 Zenny, then head back southward to the other
path. Go down the stairs to the room below.

Down here, talk to the old man and he will lead you through the cave ahead.
You will pick up a bunch of kids along the way, eight total. At the end, the
old man will stop and the kids will move to the side. When you have control
again, go up the stairs to exit the cave.

=========
Overworld
=========

Outside again, go north and east to find a white building by the shore. For
now, ignore the building and dispatch your ship on the eastern water. Head to
the southeast and follow the stream until you reach the wider body of water.
You should be able to spot a small island in front of you with a building on
it. This is Shige's house, so dock there and go inside.

=============
Shige's House
=============

In here, first talk to the old man named Shige. Then, go downstairs to the
basement and talk to the boy. After you do that, talk to Shige again and he
will give you the Small Key. With it, exit the house.

=========
Overworld
=========

Now, backtrack to the land mass you were at previously (it's to the northwest
of your current location). Once there, go south and enter the cave.

==============
Mountain House
==============

In the cave, go south and down the set of steps. In the large room, go all
the way east and south to reach the end quickly. Go upstairs and you will
emerge behind the large house again. Make your way through the house until
you are on the first floor of the right side, by where the old man now sits.

Approach the clock in the back of the room and use the Small Key to open its
doors, revealing a hidden room. Go through and open the chest to receive the
Catnip. Exit the cave room and Karin will immediately appear to take the
Catnip from you. After he leaves, make your way back upstairs and through the
house to exit via the west side. Go through the cave again and you will
emerge in the northern area once more.

=========
Overworld
=========

Back on the overworld map, head northeast to that white building again. This
is Karin's Shrine, so go inside.

==============
Karin's Shrine
==============

In here, start by going down the stairs in front of you. Go forward and talk
to the enemy blocking the way, and you will have to fight it. Once you beat
it easily, go down the stairs to level B2. There, talk to what appears to be
Karin. It will turn out that it is an imposter, and you will have to fight
the Fake Karin. Check out the Bosses section if you need help.

After the battle, open the chest to recover the Catnip again. With the fake
defeated, it's time to backtrack a little bit and return to Karin's Tower. To
get back, go south from the Mountain House and enter the cave, where you can
ride the turtle and return to the island next to the tower.

=============
Karin's Tower
=============

On the tower island, approach the tower's base and climb it to the very top.
Once there, talk to the real Karin and give him the Catnip. He will mention
going to see someone named Orlick. So, leave the tower and the island.

=========
Overworld
=========

Your next destination is near the town of Seller. The fastest way to get
there is by sailing southward from the tower island to the southern house,
and taking the portal in the basement to the Great Temple. When you get to
the temple, exit the room and go south to exit the area.

Now that you are near the temple again, follow the path to the south and you
will see the town of Seller. Go west from there until you reach a small lake
with a stream leading northward. Use the ship and dock at the northern land
mass east of the bridge, and continue northward to the swamp. Use the ship
again on the western water, and head directly across to a patch of land
between the mountains. Disembark there and go west to reach Orlick.

======
Orlick
======

When you arrive at this castle, go through the doors in front of you. Talk to
the guard and he will move aside, so go forward and talk to King Orlick. He
wants you to bring him the Hero's Medal, so say yes when prompted. After the
conversation is over, you can leave the castle. If you go down to the
basement, you will find a portal leading to the Great Temple as a shortcut.

=========
Overworld
=========

After leaving Orlick, head all the way southward while following the western
mountains. When they end, go west and north around to the other side of them.
Farther north, you will reach a cave, so enter it.

================
West Orlick Cave
================

In here, follow the path to the west and south. In the middle area, there is
a chest containing a Panacea. Then, continue along the main path to the steps
leading down to B2. Down there, simply go south and down the steps to B3.
On this floor, go west and open the chest to get the Herb. If you head to the
southeast area, there is another chest holding 1000 Zenny.

After you open both chests, go back to the stairs and head east this time.
Go down the stairs you find to reach level B4. There, go forward and open the
chest to receive the Hero's Medal (ゆうしゃのメダル). Now that you have this
medal, exit the cave and return to Orlick.

======
Orlick
======

Upon your return to the castle, talk to King Orlick to give him the Hero's
Medal. In exchange, you will receive the Vase. You need to bring this to
Karin, so take the shortcut portal in the basement and return to the Great
Temple. Once you arrive, talk to the man standing nearby and choose the
second-to-last option, the South Island (みなみのこじま).

=========
Overworld
=========

When you arrive, go upstairs and exit the house. Set sail to the north and
you will soon reach the island. Dock on the west side and walk to the tower.

=============
Karin's Tower
=============

In here again, make the lengthy climb once more. At the top, talk to Karin
and you will give him the Vase. You will then receive some Beans (similar
to the Vials, but you can only have four at once and you refill them by
visiting Karin), as well as a Flying Cloud. This will enable you to fly all
over the map, allowing even quicker access to any location!

After you are done here, exit the room and drop/climb down the tower. At the
bottom, exit the area.

=========
Overworld
=========

At this point in the game, you can travel anywhere in the world using the new
Flying Cloud. It is a good opportunity to catch up on your collection of
Dragon Balls (see that section for their locations), and to wander around the
map visiting new areas. The main story branches off at this point, and while
you can take one of two paths, I will go with the first path.

I should also note that if you are lost and need to quickly get to those
locations where you found portal rooms throughout your quest, you can visit
the Great Temple. Enter the northwest room and talk to the attendant to
choose your destination, then step into the portal. It makes moving around a
lot easier, especially since the world map you can get as a random Dragon
Ball wish is quite primitive.

Anyway, make your way to Sutangari and continue northwest from there using
the Flying Cloud. You will see a cluster of buildings scattered around the
landscape in the region. There are shops on the east side and residences to
the west. Enter the westmost house and talk to the old man inside, and the
ground will start to shake. You will see a group of mountains sink into a
hole elsewhere on the map.

So, leave the house and fly all the way to the south, and slightly eastward.
You will come to a cave next to the mountains surrounding that newly formed
hole. Land and enter that simple cave, and open the chest inside to find an
Earthquake. Exit the cave and fly over the hole, and drop into it to enter
the volcano.

=============
Zeiya Volcano
=============

On the first level of the volcano, you will find a large pit in the middle of
the room. If you fall, don't worry; you will simply land in the cave near the
volcano that you just visited. Anyway, walk around it and get to the
southwest corner, and head down the stairs to B2.

There, go north along the perimeter of the room until you are at the
northwest corner. Going across the pit, you will see two narrow paths that
you can take. Take the southbound path across the pit and cross the bridge
when you come to it. At the east end, go downstairs to level B3.

Here, talk to the nearby man if you want, then go across the room. Go down
the steps on the west side to B4. In that room, go up the hall and step into
the elevator room. Search the controls and ride down to level B5. When the
elevator stops, get off and go into the southern room. There, go forward to a
path split. To the south are chests, but a barrier blocks access to them for
now. So, head east to the end, then go south through the unlocked door.

Talk to Borun and he will leave the room after a brief conversation. Follow
him to the northern door, which was previously locked. Talk to him again and
the door will open, so go through it. In that room, go forward and you will
have to fight two Elite Soldiers. Defeat them easily and you will find a
barrier ahead. Step on the floor switch and the barriers will be deactivated.

With that done, go forward and open the chest to get 500 Zenny. Leave this
room and go down the western hallway, then go south at the split this time.
Open the now-accessible chests to get 2000 Zenny and a Teleport Machine. Now,
go down the steps to level B6. In this room, go forward and take the path
leading to the east. Follow the narrow path back to the west, north, and east
to the central area of the floor, where you will find two pillars. Take the
eastern path to the area behind the pillars, and go down the middle stairs.

Down here, go forward and you will meet Armor Gu. You will have to fight it,
so check out the Bosses section if you need to. After you win, Borun will run
in and talk for a moment before leaving. Open the chest to get the Crescent
Key (みかづきのカギ). With this key, you can finally unlock those strange blue
doors you probably have seen during the course of the game (see the Secrets
section for a list of those locations). Leave this room and go back upstairs.
For a shortcut, take the northwest steps behind the left pillar, and drop
down the hole in that room. You will land in the cave near the volcano
entrance, so simply walk out of the cave to escape.

=========
Overworld
=========

When you are ready to proceed with the story, go southeast from the volcano
and enter the town of Ripotto.

=======
Ripotto
=======

As soon as you arrive, talk to Borun who is standing in front of the first
house. When he goes inside, follow him and talk to his family. Talk to Borun
again and he will give you the Remote Control Switch. With it, leave the
house and enter the house behind it. Talk to the woman named Torena and she
will mention a video and a bed. Leave and reenter the house, and the room's
layout will be changed. Stand to the left of the person in the center, and
search to find the Learning Letter. Give it to Torena and say yes to receive
the Learning Video 2.

You are pretty much done here in town, so head on out.

=========
Overworld
=========

From Ripotto, make your way to the southwest. You will notice a clear path
through the forest as you proceed. At the southwestern tip, you will find a
cave; enter it.

======================
Southwest Ripotto Cave
======================

In here, simply go downstairs through the first six floors until you reach
level B7. There, you will arrive in the middle of an intersection. There are
a couple of things you can do at this point. First, go south one and west one
and drop down the pit to the floor below. When you land, go north to the path
split. There are chests in the southwest and southeast corners, containing a
Panacea and Teleport Machine, so be sure to grab those.

To go back upstairs, use the northwest steps. Back on B7, go south, east,
east (you are now back at the entrance stairs), then go south twice, west,
and south once more. You will come to stairs leading down to B8, so take
those. Go through the door and head down to the bottom level, B9. Open that
door and go forward, where you will see some people. After some conversation,
you will be facing three Pirafu Machines in battle; check out the Bosses
section if needed.

Following the fight, everyone else will leave. In the back there are two
chests, containing 5000 Zenny and a Mega Grenade. Take those, but before you
leave, use the Remote Control Switch. Some stairs will appear in the room, so
take them down to the new bottom floor at B10. Here, you will find some ruins
of a rocket on the ground. Enter the broken rocket and walk into the middle
area. Enter the southern room and search to find Engine Parts. The chest in
the back corner has a Panacea inside as well.

Once you have the Engine Parts, your job here is done. So, backtrack your way
out of the cave.

=========
Overworld
=========

Outside again, make your way towards Sabada (it is to the north, near the
southwest end of the desert). From Sabada, go southeast and you will see a
town on a small island. That is Cosmo City, but you can not enter it for now.
In the mean time, fly directly north of it to reach a circular desert area
with a base in the middle. Land and enter the Missile Base.

============
Missile Base
============

You will arrive in a large lot outside of the base buildings. Start by going
into the small building to the left. In there, go down the stairs in the back
to B1. Go directly north and up the stairs back to B1. Open the chest in that
room to get the Time Stopper. With it, go back down/up and exit this building
for now.

This time, go to the northeast area of the lot and enter the main base. Here,
you will see a lot of conveyor belts speeding through the room. Ride the west
belt to that area, and open the chest to get a Panacea. Return to the start
of the area and go north along the belt, then step into the elevator room up
ahead. Search the controls and say yes to go upstairs to 2F.

Get off the elevator and head south to reach a path split. Go west and you
will find an empty room with a chest containing 1800 Zenny. Then, take the
east path and there will be a barrier ahead. Walk across the switch to clear
it, then continue ahead to the next part. You will see several switches on
the ground leading around the path, starting with a single one to the right.
Step on that one once, then walk over it a second time as you go west into
the narrow path. That way when you are between the first two switches, the
barrier at the end is off. Continue straight across the four switches and
pass through the barrier.

Continue down the hallway and there will be a single switch before the next
barrier. Step on that switch once, then go across again to make it through.
Ahead, there are three switches in a row. Step on the first one, step back,
then go right across them all to pass through safely. Then, go around the
corner to the long switch-filled segment.

For this next part, go across the first two switches as you head through the
barrier. Continue going over the following three switches before stepping
into the safe space in the northeast corner. Then, go all the way west and
south to exit through the other barrier. At the end of the hall, go north to
enter an elevator. Ride it down two levels to B1, then exit.

In the next room, go south and east through the blue door. Defeat the single
Security Robo waiting for you, then go downstairs to B2. Beat the robots and
go forward to the conveyor belts ahead. Take the second northbound conveyor
from the left or right sides, and you will end up at the far north area. Ride
the southbound belts to the first stop, then use the next southbound ones to
reach the second middle area. There will be a switch on the wall; press it to
shut off the conveyors.

From here, go into the northwest area and head upstairs to B1 again. Go south
and defeat the Security Robo in the way, and continue out to the large room
ahead. Go up the steps leading to the top of the area, and open the chests in
the northeast corner to get a Teleport Machine and a Stone Cure. When you are
ready to proceed, go to the top of the room and confront Udegan. You will
then enter a boss battle against it, so check that section of the guide if
you need help.

Following the battle, open the chest to get the Warp Pass. With it, make your
way back out of the base altogether.

=========
Overworld
=========

Once you end up back outside, summon the cloud and fly southward a short bit.
Land on the small island and enter Cosmo City this time.

==========
Cosmo City
==========

Upon your arrival, go forward and the guard outside will be talking to a man.
The guard will then be knocked over and the man will enter. So, talk to the
fallen guard to clear him before entering the building yourself. Inside, go
into the middle room ahead and talk to the man on the right to receive the
Learning Video 3.

Also on this floor, there are two stairs on the sides. The right side leads
down to a warp room (for access to/from the Great Temple). You need to go
down into the western room below, so do that. Talk to Jim in the southeast
room and give him the Engine Parts. As you try to leave, a boy will come and
talk to you about a crescent (your hint to have the Crescent Key going forth.

If you want, go through the west door and step outside to see the rocket and
talk to the scientists. Otherwise, it is time to leave Cosmo City.

=========
Overworld
=========

Outside again, get the cloud and fly northward to the main desert area. Cross
the desert and continue northward to the open water, where you will see a
whirlpool. Go west from there to find a tower on the shore. Land there and
enter the tower, known as the Death Tower.

===========
Death Tower
===========

In here, go forward and defeat the soldier who runs into the area and kills
the guard. After that, go either left or right and head northward. When you
reach the next middle path, go to the center of the room and you will see an
alcove to the south. Go north and you will find a small hidden room with
stairs leading upward. Take them to 2F.

On the second floor, go south to a split in the path. You can exit the tower
by going south and falling downward, or you can take stairs in the corners.
For now, take the southwest stairs to 3F. There, go north into the main area
and continue all the way to the north end of the room. Follow the path east
and south into an interior room, where you will find a warp tile in the
center of the room. Use it to reach 4F.

When you arrive, exit to the south. Continue down the hall to the south and
enter the first room on the right. Use the warp in there to reach another
room where you can open a chest containing a Panacea. Return using the warp
again and exit the room. This time, go south and east along the perimeter of
the main area. In the southeast corner, enter the interior area in the middle
and use the warp there.

On 5F, simply head all the way west to find the next warp. Use it to proceed
back down to 4F. Exit the small room and follow the path around the corner to
a small structure at an apparent dead end. Go south from that part and enter
the hidden room, where you can go upstairs to 6F again. Head straight and you
will be confronted by the Dark Raid before facing it in battle. View the
Bosses section if you need help defeating it.

After the battle, continue around the corner and head upstairs to 7F. On the
top floor at last, talk to the guards in front of the locked door. They will
not budge yet, so take the stairs to the roof. Approach the center door and
you can not continue, so go back downstairs to 7F. The guards are now gone,
so enter the room and you will immediately be forced into a boss battle with
Zedo. Read the Bosses section as needed.

Once you win, Zedo will flee upstairs, so follow him via the stairs in the
back. On the roof, Zedo will take off in a rocket. You will then return to
the Great Temple instantly.

============
Great Temple
============

Upon your arrival, you will be talking to the spirits in the temple. After
that is done, your next destination will be Cosmo City. You can use the
warp room (left door of the temple) and talk to the attendant to point it to
Cosmo City.

==========
Cosmo City
==========

In here, enter the main building (or go upstairs if you warped from the Great
Temple). Talk to the old man in the middle room, then go down the western
stairs to the basement. Go all the way left and through the door to reach the
rocket outside. Talk to the scientists and they will move aside, so go onward
to ride the rocket into space.

===========
Outer Space
===========

For this part of the game, you will have control of the rocket. It moves on
its own, but you can change direction as needed. Simply crash into a planet
to land there, and board the rocket on the ground to take off again. If you
land back on Earth, the rocket will stay on the roof of the Great Temple.

Anyway, if you head south from Earth, you will find a yellowish planet. This
is the Store Star, and it has a cave containing shops selling the best gear
in the game. It also has a small item shop of sorts. North of Earth, you will
come to a smaller blue planet (it's to the northeast from the Sun). This is
called the Friendship Star, so land there.

===============
Friendship Star
===============

Here, you can enter a cave to the south and talk to the old man inside. Do
that, then exit and make your way north and east around the outer perimeter
of the area. Follow the path around to the center area of the planet, where
you will see a temple. Enter the temple and approach the large bowl structure
at the back of the room. After it speaks, leave the temple and the planet via
the rocket.

===========
Outer Space
===========

From the Friendship Star, go directly west a short bit and you will see a red
planet surrounded by an aura of sorts. That is Namek, so land here.

=====
Namek
=====

On this planet, there is not a whole lot to do. You can talk to Piccolo in
the basement of the southwest house. The biggest draw here is an item you can
find. In the southeast area, you will see a green plain area with a narrow
path of mountains dividing the east side of the planet, and a large body of
water to the northwest. Follow the yellow path to the water's edge on the
east side, north of the green plain, and search to find the God Scouter.

Now that you have it, you can leave this planet.

===========
Outer Space
===========

This time, head west and you will encounter a black hole (designated by the
hole with stars wrapped around it). If you fly close enough, you will get
sucked into it. You will want to this time, so do that.

==========
Black Hole
==========

You will land on a small asteroid of sorts, with a black rocket broken on the
west end. Walk over and enter the crashed rocket. Inside, open the chest to
get the Level Down item. You can talk to the robots in here and even find a
Dragon Ball (see that section for details). After that, leave this area.

===========
Outer Space
===========

You will emerge from the hole near Earth, to the southeast. Head south from
Earth and go east when you see the Store Star. When you come to another blue
planet, land there.

============
Victory Star
============

Here, you will find that the temple doors are sealed shut. You can enter the
rooms on the sides and talk to the people there for a bit. Other than that,
you can not proceed here, so leave the area.

===========
Outer Space
===========

From here, go back west a bit until you pass the yellow Store Star. Continue
west and you will see a blue star in the background. When you reach it, go
north and west slightly to find another blue planet. Land there.

===========
Effort Star
===========

On this crater-ridden planet, head north to the temple. Inside, approach the
altar and hear it speak to you. Talk to the attendants in here, then exit the
temple. Outside, there is a cave in the southeast area you can explore. There
are chests containing a Gravity item and a Panacea in there. When you are
done, get out of here with your rocket and return to the Victory Star.

============
Victory Star
============

Now that you have visited the other two temples, you will find that the doors
are now open here. Go inside to find everyone on the ground. Approach the
altar and talk to the person in blue, and a man named Baffura will appear.
Listen to him talk, them leave the temple and the star altogether.

===========
Outer Space
===========

Your job in space is now complete for the time being, so head west until you
pass some large rock formations. Turn north at that point and you will reach
Earth. When you get there, you will see that the whirlpool area near the
Death Tower will dry up, revealing a cave. You will then land the rocket atop
the Great Temple as usual.

============
Great Temple
============

Here, go downstairs and you will notice that it is much darker now. Head into
the main temple area and approach the altar to hear a bit of conversation.
After that, talk to Joseph who is standing nearby. He will give you Learning
Video 4. The video will show your next destination, which I will lead you to
now. So, leave the temple.

=========
Overworld
=========

From the Great Temple, make your way to the southeast region of the map, to
where Zeiya Volcano is. Just to the west of it is an isolated chunk of land
only accessible by air. Land there and you will see how the clear path ends
at the mountains. Walk over to that space and you will enter the lab.

==================
Dr. Learning's Lab
==================

On the first floor in here, simply follow the path and go down the stairs.
Go north and you will find a robot guard blocking access to the middle area
of the room. For now, go to the northeast and up the stairs in the back. On
the first floor again, go south and you will see some pits in the floor.

There is a small pit against the northern wall; drop into it and you will
land on the robot's head below! With that settled, go north to the door. You
will be prompted to enter a numeric password. It is "726" (you would get this
by viewing the first three Learning Videos). When the door opens, go into the
next room.

In the lab itself, talk to the old man, Dr. Learning. He will give you the
Learning Cannon. With it, exit the lab and return to the surface.

=========
Overworld
=========

Now, make your way to the northeast corner of the map (or go slightly east
and south from your current location). When you reach the now-accessible cave
and the Death Tower, land by the tower and take the ship out to the cave.

===========
Zedo's Fort
===========

In the first room, simply go north and head through the door. You will then
be outside of a large fort complex. There are three doors, but the side ones
will only loop you around on conveyor belts. So, enter the middle door. In
that first room, go east and open the chest before the belts to get another
Panacea.

Go back to the middle area, and take the path into the northern alcove. Go
down the stairs there to level B2. You can not take the other paths here due
to barriers, so go upstairs to the west. As soon as you emerge, face the
switch on the north wall and use it to stop the conveyor belts. Go south and
cross the frozen belts, and go down the steps in the southwest corner.

Follow the path around and step on the switch to remove the barriers up ahead
in the room. There are three paths you can take back upstairs; use the far
right stairs and go up to find two chests. Open them to get a Mega Grenade
and the King's Pants (best armor for Taison). Backtrack to where you first
shut off the conveyors, and continue to the far east side of B1. Open the
other chest you could not reach earlier to find another Panacea, then go down
the northeast steps to B2.

Here, go south to reach the next room. At the first path split in there, go
east and open the chest to get a Teleport Machine. If you go to the far west
side and enter the northwest room, there is another Teleport Machine in the
chest there as well. Make your way to the southern area of the main room and
go down the stairs to reach B3. Simply go forward into the elevator and ride
it down to B4.

When you arrive, open the blue door to the north and enter that room. There
are two cells blocked by barriers, so go into the east room and defeat the
guard robot. Step on the switch and open the chest to find a Panacea, then go
back to the previous room to see the barriers are gone. Talk to the old man
in the left room and he will give you the Robo Pittan. You can use it to stop
the guard robots wandering around this place.

From here, go south to exit the room, then go east. Freeze the guards with
your new item if you want, then continue right and open the chests in the
corner to receive a Mega Grenade and a Happy Festival armor. After that, go
south to the next room. You will be out on a ledge with a capsule nearby. You
need to step into the capsule in order to proceed, but you can direct it
along the track.

So, hop aboard and go south at the first intersection. Go east at the next
split, and stop on the ledge with a chest containing the Light Garment armor.
Take the capsule back west and head all the way south, west, and south to a
ledge with a doorway. Enter that room and open the chest to find the Mink
Academic Run armor. Now, exit the room and ride the capsule back to the start
area before heading westward. At the northwest corner, go south and stop on
the ledge to get the Miracle Robe from the chest. There is a second ledge to
the south of the first one, with a chest holding a Panacea.

Continue southward to the southwest corner, then go east. At the very end, go
north and you will reach a ledge with a doorway. Enter that room. In here,
use the Robo Pittan to deactivate the guards if you want, then head into the
room straight ahead. You will be confronted by Baffura again, and will face
it in a boss battle. Check that section out if you need help.

After the fight, go into the east room and defeat the guards in the way (if
you froze them before, use the Robo Pittan again). Then, enter the small room
in the back corner. There, go down the steps to the bottom level, B5. Simply
follow the underground path all the way to the end, then exit via the stairs
to reach a new area altogether.

====
Hell
====

When you emerge here, you will find a small lake area with a castle in the
center area. Use the Poipoi Capsule ship to reach it, then enter Zedo's
Castle when you are ready.

=============
Zedo's Castle
=============

When you arrive here, go forward and enter the castle. Before you go any
further, make sure you are at a high level (16 is the maximum, so anywhere
around 14-16 is sufficient) and have the best equipment available. If you
have been following this guide so far, you should have your party's best
weapons and armor. When you are ready, go forward to meet Zedo again, and you
will enter battle. Read the Bosses section for help winning this fight.

After the first round ends, Zedo will conjure up the powers of past enemies
and face you one last time. Once you defeat that tougher form, Zedo will be
defeated entirely. Walk around the room and you will automatically warp back
to the Great Temple, leaving Hell to crumble into itself.

============
Great Temple
============

Here, listen to the voice at the altar speak, and the other six heroes will
return to their own worlds. With your final character, exit the temple and go
into the southeast building with the seven warps. Step into the final portal
and the game will end. Congratulations on completing Famicom Jump II!

-=  7. Bosses -=
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

NOTE: For the experience listings below, you receive the base experience
      multiplied by the number of hero areas you have cleared thus far in the
      early part of the game.

Pirafu Soldier (ピラフへい)
    Found: Pirafu Castle
    Power: 280
    Experience: 2*n
    Zenny: 13
    Strategy: You fight two of these soldiers together at the beginning, and
              others as you progress in the castle. They are very simple to
              beat, luckily. They move around and shoot at you from a
              distance with their guns. If you are at Level 2, it will only
              take a couple of hits each to kill them using regular attacks.

Pirafu Machine (ピラフマシーン)
    Found: Pirafu Castle
    Power: 450-500
    Experience: 3*n
    Zenny: 15
    Strategy: For this battle, you face three machines. They have a tendency
              to gang up on you, so usage of Vials is almost required to
              survive. They can attack up close or shoot beams from a short
              distance. The best approach is to take them out one at a time,
              or attack two of them at once if they are side by side, since
              they are larger units. If you turn purple and more than one
              enemy is left, use a Vial!

Octopus Devil (たこまじん)
    Found: East Ruruto Cave
    Power: 1200
    Experience: 10*n
    Zenny: 19
    Strategy: For this octopus boss, it packs a bit of a punch by the small
              projectile it shoots from its mouth. You can find yourself at
              low health within a couple of turns if you are not careful. It
              can also only be damaged by physical attacks, so no special
              techniques will be necessary. It should only take a couple of
              direct hits to kill this boss.

Stand Messenger (スタンドつかい)
    Found: East Sutangari Cave
    Power: 1300
    Experience: 10
    Zenny: 17
    Strategy: This fight is a short and simple one, though it is with only
              Jojo fighting. The boss can hit hard, and it is very possible
              that you will run low on health. Use your special ability from
              a distance to quickly take away some health and buy time to
              attack normally afterward to win this fight.

Hunter (ハンター)
    Found: South Sabada Forest
    Power: 1200
    Experience: 7
    Zenny: 20
    Strategy: For this battle, you have to face the Hunter as well as three
              of his underlings. Luckily for you, the underlings stay in a
              cluster formation, so you can use regular attacks to hit them
              all at once. Quickly clear them with two hits from your weapon,
              then attack the main Hunter twice to win. He can hit harder
              than the underlings, but it is a simple battle anyhow.

Gunner (ガンナー)
    Found: Sakigake
    Power: 500
    Experience: 10*n
    Zenny: 21
    Strategy: This first boss fight, if you will, is not too difficult. The
              Gunner has high defense, so special abilities are your best bet
              here. His projectile attacks can hurt a lot, so you need to
              make sure you hit hard with the specials to stay in the battle.

Iron Man (アイアンマン)
    Found: Sakigake
    Power: 740
    Experience: 20*n
    Zenny: 23
    Strategy: This battle is much like the Gunner fight prior to it. You
              need to stick with special abilities since regular attacks will
              barely damage this guy. His attacks are strong, so you need to
              hit quickly and effectively each turn to survive.

Casting Net (とあみ)
    Found: Sakigake
    Power: 1100
    Experience: 30*n
    Zenny: 38
    Strategy: Now this will be a tough fight, especially since you are by
              yourself. The key is to use special abilities to cause the most
              damage, but then even more importantly, you need to keep your
              distance between attacks! The boss can hit hard and you will
              die within a couple of turns if you don't heal up with Vials,
              so it is essential you keep moving away. That way, the boss
              wastes his turn moving towards you without attacking. It should
              take three good special attacks for you to win. If you have
              at least 3-4 Vials, you will be in good shape here.

Guard Robo (ガードロボ)
    Found: Teiken
    Power: 270
    Experience: 10*n
    Zenny: 13
    Strategy: Though you only fight one of these each time, they have VERY
              high defense, so if you have not been leveling up, you will
              have a lot of trouble here. Its laser attack can hurt a lot, so
              those Vials will be a necessity. Using strong special abilities
              as well as some regular attacks (particularly Taru-Ruto's) will
              be your only hope. You only need to land a few hits, but since
              so many of them barely scratch this enemy, it will take a bit.

Fighter (ファイター)
    Found: Teiken, Abandoned Factory
    Power: 600
    Experience: 5*n
    Zenny: 18
    Strategy: The Fighter is only really weak against special attacks, so you
              will need to rely on those to succeed. Be careful though, since
              this guy likes to shoot projectiles to cause a lot of damage to
              your weaker allies. Fortunately, it should only take a round or
              two of pummeling it with special moves to win.

Work Soldier (こうさくへい)
    Found: Teiken
    Power: 900
    Experience: 10*n
    Zenny: 17
    Strategy: This final boss in the Teiken underground area is tough, since
              he hits hard and has high defense, even against special moves.
              Regular attacks are ineffective so you need to rely on your
              specials, using Vials to stay healthy and keeping your distance
              to stay alive. It will take a few rounds, even with a full
              party attacking, to win this battle.

Gigaurusu (ギガウルス)
    Found: Marsh Building
    Power: 30000
    Experience: 300
    Zenny: 200
    Strategy: This creature has high defense, so regular attacks simply will
              not cut it here. Stick with strong special abilities, such as
              Goku's Kamehameha, to cause damage from a distance. The boss
              uses an earthquake attack to hurt your entire party, so be
              ready to use Vials to recover the person doing the most damage.
              Sometimes the boss will try to disable your abilities, so be
              careful! If you are at least Level 9 or so, you should be able
              to defeat this creature in a few turns.

Omnipo (オムニポー)
    Found: Berry Bay North Base
    Power: 50000
    Experience: 500
    Zenny: 500
    Strategy: This creature has a high defense, but strangely enough it only
              attacks when its mouth is closed. This condition changes every
              round. It attacks by shooting lightning bolts at your party,
              but you should be able to survive with no problem. Stick with
              close-range special abilities, such as Momo's tornado attack.
              It will take a few turns, so you need to have Vials ready to
              keep the person who actually causes damage alive.

Robo Tail (ロボテール)
    Found: Evacuation Cave
    Power: 70000
    Experience: 600
    Zenny: 1000
    Strategy: This giant robot has very high defense, so only the strongest
              special moves will get through (I recommend Goku's special). I
              would also recommend being at least Level 11-12 at this point,
              too. The boss can put your party members to sleep, or attack
              everyone with a single attack, so keep your distance and use
              your strongest attackers in the party to win (Goku and Ryotsu
              are great picks).

Fake Karin (ニセカリン)
    Found: Karin's Shrine
    Power: 27000
    Experience: 68
    Zenny: 153
    Strategy: This battle is not too difficult, but the annoying part comes
              when Fake Karin can create a clone of itself. They are only
              vulnerable to special attacks, so don't waste your time using
              regular attacks here. The boss can disable your actions for a
              turn if you are not lucky, but that is not a big deal. It will
              only take a few rounds of landing blows to win.

Armor Gu (アーマーグ)
    Found: Zeiya Volcano
    Power: 150000
    Experience: 1000
    Zenny: 8000
    Strategy: This giant armored boss is strong against regular attacks, so
              don't waste your time with them. Stick with long-range special
              moves, like Goku and Ryotsu's specials. The boss will attack
              with its arms, causing a decent amount of damage, so it is a
              good idea as always to keep your distance when possible. It has
              a lot of power, but you can bring it down in a few rounds if
              you are strong enough!

Pirafu Machine (ピラフマシーン)
    Found: Southwest Ripotto Cave
    Power: N/A
    Experience: 300
    Zenny: 200
    Strategy: For this short and simple battle, you fight three of these blue
              robots together. They can attack by shooting projectiles at
              multiple targets, causing a small amount of damage when hit. A
              good approach is to use regular attacks to beat on these robots
              one at a time. It should only take a round or so to beat them,
              so this really should not be a tough battle for you.

Udegan (ウデガン)
    Found: Missile Base
    Power: 100000
    Experience: 800
    Zenny: 5000
    Strategy: This large boss sits in the back of the room and spits out
              fireballs to attack each round. It is not very effective to use
              regular attacks against it, but your special abilities are a
              great fix for that. At this point, it should only take a couple
              of rounds to win if everyone is using their good specials to
              fight this creature.

Dark Raid (ダークレイド)
    Found: Death Tower
    Power: 300000
    Experience: 1200
    Zenny: 10000
    Strategy: This water-dwelling monster sits at the top of the battlefield,
              and can either paralyze or freeze your party members. It can
              be very annoying if those moves are successful (use Panaceas to
              cure them quickly), but luckily your special abilities will
              really be effective against this boss. Regular attacks are good
              as well, but I find the specials to be the strongest.

Zedo (ゼドー)
    Found: Death Tower
    Power: 500000
    Experience: 2500
    Zenny: N/A
    Strategy: As soon as the battle starts, Zedo will summon wall fragments
              to restrict your movement. This also blocks many of your own
              attacks, meaning that only certain special abilities and moves
              that can get through the narrow openings from a distance will
              be effective. I found Taru-Ruto's special ability and Goku's
              special are very helpful here. Additional wall pieces will be
              placed in the ring as the battle goes on. It won't take too
              long though; once you land a few good hits, the battle ends.

Baffura (バッフラー)
    Found: Zedo's Fort
    Power: 380000
    Experience: 2000
    Zenny: 15000
    Strategy: This giant horned beast stands in the back of the room and
              shoots out a long range projectile to attack. At this point in
              the game, it is an easy fight for your regular attacks and
              specials to handle easily. Try to stay off to the sides and use
              specials that don't require you to be aligned with the boss, if
              you want to be safe. If you are well-equipped, it will only
              take a few regular hits to win here.

Zedo (ゼドー)
    Found: Zedo's Castle
    Power: 500000
    Experience: 2500
    Zenny: N/A
    Strategy: This final battle is a two-part fight. Zedo starts off with a
              barrier protecting him from damage. At the start of the battle
              and after each round, Zedo drops a bunch of round obstacles to
              restrict your movements/attacks. They can be damaging if your
              characters are hit. Use the Learning Cannon item immediately to
              dispel the barrier, allowing you to attack. Because of the
              restrictions, you need to use characters with specials that do
              not require a clear line of sight (like Taru-Ruto). Each time
              Zedo takes damage, some of the obstacles disappear. After four
              hits, Zedo will be defeated for the first round.

Zedo (ゼドー) (Part 2)
    Found: Zedo's Castle
    Power: 2500000
    Experience: 10000
    Zenny: N/A
    Strategy: For the absolute final battle, Zedo becomes a giant dragon. He
              sits at the top of the room and uses an earthquake ability to
              damage your entire party at once. You will absolutely want to
              use your best attacks and specials here, as this is the last
              battle. Zedo can also poison your entire party with another
              move, so have some Antidotes ready if you need to (using Beans
              to recover health may be more efficient at this point). If you
              have anyone who can attack strongly twice in a turn, it will be
              hugely beneficial. It really does not take long to win, but you
              still need to survive Zedo's attacks while you beat it down.

-=  11. Dragon Balls  -=
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

In the course of the game, there will be Dragon Balls scattered throughout
the world. Initially, each of the game's seven heroes carries a Dragon Ball
which you receive when they join your party. After all seven heroes are
assembled, a second set of seven balls will appear in the world. You can use
the Dragon Radar to track their locations. If all seven Dragon Balls in a set
are found, a dragon will appear to grant a randomly selected wish (listed
below). Then, a new set of Dragon Balls will be dispersed. This section will
list where each set is located. It should be noted that you can only receive
each wish's effects once, so choose wisely (for the ones where you pick a
certain party member at least).

Dragon Ball Locations
=====================

NOTE: I tried my best to describe the actual locations relative to where they
      are on the overworld map. You will need to remember locations and use
      the World Map, as well as the Dragon Radar, if these instructions are
      not sufficient. Also, the site in my Credits section has screenshots of
      every Dragon Ball location should you need it.

Set #2
------

1: Go north from the Marsh Building and follow the path all the way north,
   east, and south. At the end of the path (there are rocks in the water to
   the east), search the tile in the southwest corner.

2: Go slightly northeast of the town of Seller, then go north to find a small
   lake. Search the grassy tile in the southmost tip of the lake.

3: Head directly north from Berry Bay and you will reach a building in the
   forest. Search the space directly in front of the building.

4: In the East Poresuta Cave, open the chest on B5.

5: Head west from Berry Bay to the land tip. Search the space at the tip.

6: Go east from Berry Bay and you will see a small enclosed lake just north
   of the bridge. Get to the northwest corner and you will see brown mountain
   dunes ending in the corner. Search the second space from the left directly
   below where the dunes end.

7: Talk to Marin in Manooru after defeating Giant Rats and returning her dog.

Set #3
------

1: From Akes, head northward along the brown mountain path. At the northern
   shore, you will see a dead end blocked by shallows in the water. Search
   the third space from the left in the second row from the top.

2: From Berry Bay, use the Hoipoi Capsule ship and sail directly eastward.
   You will come to a group of three islands, one of which you can land on
   (southeast area of the overworld). On that forest-covered island, search
   in the empty space in the southwest corner.
