1 - Courier (CRER)

Briefing

Mission Objectives

A: Collect equipment from safety deposit box.

B: Avoid civilian casualties.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Overview

Message from M, Head of MI-6:

Terrible news, 007. An MI-6 agent has been murdered and a classified report
from the Russian Atomic Energy Department was taken from his body.

An old friend, Sir Robert King, accidentally purchased this stolen document,
believing it to contain information about terrorists.

In the mean time, a Swiss banker named Lachaise, a middle-man in this affair,
has offered to return Sir Robert's money.

I want you to go to him, discover who killed our agent, and collect the money.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Location & Personnel

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

Lachaise works for the Banque Suisse de L'Industrie in Bilbao, Spain. It's a
private industrial bank, one of a number we've had our eye on for sometime. We
suspect Lachaise has been involved in a number of deals with terrorists and
other international criminals.

Lachaise won't want to talk to you, and I'm sure he'll have some bodyguards. Q
Branch has come up with some equipment to give you a helping hand there.

You won't be able to carry weaponry into the bank yourself, so we've arranged
for your equipment to be inserted into a safety deposit box. You'll also find
an appointment card in there - you'll need it to see Lachaise.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Equipment

Message from R, Q Branch:

Now pay attention, 007. This may look like your standard issue P2K pistol: in
fact its a small but highly powerful stun grenade. The trigger is a hidden
switch in the frame of these completely innocent-looking spectacles. Simply
press here, and make sure you've got your eyes shut - anyone caught in the
blast is going to be blind and deaf for a good few seconds. This should give
you the edge in any nastiness.

You won't be able to carry a gun into this place - it's a bank after all.
Still, we've got an updated version of one of my favorites. This Q-branch
wristwatch is fitted with a multi-shot dart gun, activated by nerve impulses
from the wrist muscles. The tranquilizer darts will drop a fully-grown man on
the spot, but he'll wake up safe and sound a few minutes later.

Oh, and there are the other usual functions, too, of course - cutting laser,
plus a long-range wireless stunner I've been experimenting with.

Try not to lose this one, all right?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intro

[James Bond walks into a bank in Bilbao, Spain.]

Level

[The receptionist looks across her desk at Bond.]

RECEPTIONIST: Good afternoon sir. Can I help you?

BOND: The name's Bond... James Bond.

RECEPTIONIST: Ah Mr. Bond. We have a safety deposit box waiting for you.

[Bond moves to the safety desposit room. A bank security guard watches over the
room.]

GUARD: Yes, Mr. Bond, your safety deposit box is ready for you in the privacy
booth.

[Bond enters the booth and collects an appointment card and a flash-bang gun.]

* New Mission Objective *
C: Collect money from vault.

[Bond approaches a guard in front of a steel gate.]

GUARD: Do you have an appointment, sir?

[Bond gives him the appointment card and is allowed through. A metal detector
sounds a short alert as Bond draws near another guard.]

GUARD: Excuse me sir. Please remove your firearm.

[Bond hands over a gun. The guard leads him to Lachaise's office. Bond sits
across from Lachaise. Two bodyguards and a woman known as Cigar Girl stand
around Bond.]

LACHAISE: I retrieved the money - no doubt Sir Robert will be pleased to see it
again.

BOND: I didn't come just for the money. The report you sold King was stolen
from an MI-6 agent who was killed for it. I want to know who killed him.

LACHAISE: I'm just a middleman... Take the money.

BOND: Your last chance. Give me a name.

LACHAISE: You still threaten me, even without your weapon?

[Cigar Girl pulls out a weapon and shoots Lachaise. He falls out of his chair,
dead. Cigar Girl and a bodyguard run away. Bond tinkers with his glasses. An
explosion shatters a window and the lingering bodyguard is knocked down.]

* New Mission Objectives *
D: Crack safe, obtain swipe card.
E: Destroy video tape backup.

[Bond acquires the security swipe card. He unlocks a room with the card and
wipes out the video evidence. He unlocks the vault with a keypad decryptor and
grabs a briefcase with King's money.]

* New Mission Objective *
F: Escape bank with money.

[Bond does this.]

Outro

[Bond runs out of the bank, alarms blaring behind him. He speeds off in his
car.]

==============================================================================

2 - King's Ransom (KSRM)

Briefing

Mission Objectives

A: Protect all primary MI-6 personnel.

B: Avoid causing civilian and security guard casualties.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Overview

Message from M, Head of MI-6:

I can't believe that anyone would have the nerve to actually attack MI-6. I
suspect it has something to do with Sir Robert King.

I know him well - we read law at Oxford together and I helped him years ago
when his daughter Elektra was kidnapped by the terrorist Renard.

Still, all that's in the past. Sir Robert thought that the report he paid for
would identify the terrorists who've attacked his new oil pipeline in
Kazakhstan. Then he discovered it was actually about the nuclear arsenals in
the former Soviet Republics, so he turned it over to me.

Maybe the attack is coincidental with his visit, but I want you to find him
nonetheless and make sure he is safe.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Location & Personnel

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

Well, you should know your way around MI-6 headquarters of all places, but you
can always reference the maps on the wall.

M's security is our top priority, but we also need to protect the rest of the
staff too.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Equipment

Message from R, Q Branch:

I know you always carry your P2K with you Bond, but this looks like a
full-scale assault. If I were you I'd get my hands on something a little more
powerful, or you could be in trouble.

MI-6 Security will back you up, but you'll need to be careful.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intro

[Bond walks into M's office at MI-6 Headquarters in London, England. M and Sir
Robert King chat next to M's desk.]

M: James Bond, Sir Robert King.

KING: Ah, the man who retrieved my money. Excellent job, can't thank you
enough.

[King strides out of her office. M and Bond both sit down.]

M: Sir Robert is an old friend. I helped him years ago when his daughter
Elektra was kidnapped by the terrorist Renard. Still, all that's in the past.
Sir Robert thought that the report he'd paid for would identify the terrorists
who've attacked his new oil pipeline in Kazakhstan. Then he discovered it was
actually about the nuclear arsenals in the former Soviet Republics, so he
turned it over to me.

BOND: Something's not right about all this...

[The office abruptly shudders. Bond stands up.]

BOND: King - the money!

Level

* New Mission Objective *
C: Find Sir Robert King.

M: Bond we're under attack! Find Sir Robert!

[Bond exits her office and enters Moneypenny's adjacent office. A guard stands
in front of the doorway.]

GUARD: The automatic security door system is damaged. Can you reach the manual
override Sir?

* New Mission Objective *
D: Activate third floor lockdown.

[Moneypenny hides in a corner. She can bestow Bond with a pen grenade.]

MONEYPENNY: Here, you'd better take this.

[Bond fights the invading terrorists. He finds the security centre, and
activates a hand scanner to enter the room. Robinson, the Chief of Staff, is
already inside.]

ROBINSON: Quickly Bond, we need someone with your clearance to activate the
manual override. Use these keypads to initiate the lockdown.

[Bond activates the lockdown panel. Panels slide down over windows, blocking
entry points for terrorists. Bond leaves the security centre.]

MONEYPENNY: Help James, they’ve got M!

* New Mission Objective *
E: Rescue M from the terrorists.

[Bond heads back to M's workplace.]

M: I hope you know what you're doing 007.

[Bond kills the terrorist next to her.]

M: Thank you, Bond. It would be a good idea if you could take me to the
security centre now.

* New Mission Objective *
F: Escort M to secure room.

[Bond accompanies M to the security centre.]

BOND: You'll be safe here.

M: Please go and find Sir Robert now. He was heading for the vault on the
ground floor.

[Bond descends downstairs. As he reaches the ground floor, some of the stairs
fall apart in an explosion. More terrorists rappel from a skylight to where
Bond is. Bond opens a door and emerges in a corridor with a security guard.]

GUARD: Reports of a fire in the lobby, the sprinklers need to be activated
manually Sir.

* New Mission Objective *
G: Activate the sprinklers.

[Down the corridor, there's another guard who talks to Bond.]

GUARD: The automatic security door system is damaged. Can you reach the manual
override Sir?

* New Mission Objective *
H: Activate ground floor lockdown.

[Bond will complete these latest tasks while gunning down terrorists. He can
meet Dr. Warmflash busy at work.]

WARMFLASH: James!

BOND: Stay here, you'll be safe. I have to find King.

[Bond enters the vault area. He discovers guards and a wounded man resting on
the vault door.]

GUARD: Sir, these people need urgent medical attention. Can you get the
doctor?

* New Mission Objective *
I: Escort Dr. Warmflash.

[Bond goes to see Dr. Warmflash in the medical division.]

WARMFLASH: James?

BOND: You're needed, follow me.

WARMFLASH: We're under attack!

BOND: Not to worry, you're in safe hands.

[Bond guides Dr. Warmflash to the injured person. He goes further into the
fire-damaged vault to locate Sir Robert King, dying on the floor.]

KING: Here, take this pin. It was the detonator.

BOND: Sir Robert!

Q: 007... this is Q... Get to the Q Labs at once... the suspect is escaping...
she has a boat waiting outside.

[Bond sets off for the Q Labs.]

Outro

[Bond rushes past technicians in the Q Labs. He bounds into the Q-boat.]

Q: Stop, stop, it isn't finished!

[Too late. Bond's launched the boat into the river.]

==============================================================================

3 - Thames Chase (TSCE)

Briefing

Mission Objectives

A: Pursue but do not eliminate the female assassin.

B: Rescue the hostages.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Overview

Message from M, Head of MI-6:

It looks as if the woman who killed Lachaise in Bilbao is behind this attack -
what did you call her Bond, the 'Cigar Girl'?

Whatever her name, make sure she doesn't get away, I won't tolerate this
attack, 007, and I want you to find out who is behind it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Location & Personnel

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

It looks as if this Cigar Girl is making her escape along the waterfront.

We're getting reports from the police of terrorist attacks throughout the area
- they're probably trying to cover her escape in the chaos.

The police have tried to evacuate as many civilians as possible, but keep an
eye out for any innocents who have been caught in the crossfire.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Equipment

Message from R, Q Branch:

Just make sure you bring back that boat in one piece.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intro

[Bond and Cigar Girl engage in a boat chase across the River Thames. They both
crash their boats onto a dockyard.]

Level

[Bond pursues Cigar Girl through the shipyard. Along the way, he rescues
hostages from terrorists. On Agent difficulty, R speaks remotely to Bond to
explain how to use the Grapple hook to move to areas that Bond can't reach by
foot.]

R: Now Bond, we designed the grapple hook in your watch for just this kind of
situation. Look for the grapple point in the ceiling above. It will serve as a
lodging place for your grapple, and will safely support your weight as you
climb.

[Once Bond liberates all the hostages, R gives Bond a warning.]

R: Target is moving away, Bond.

[Bond follows Cigar Girl to the entrance of the London Underground system,
which is an underground railway.]

Outro

[A policeman jogs up to Bond at the London Underground's entryway.]

POLICE: Hold on sir. This area is sealed off - we have a hostage situation.

BOND: I'm with MI-6. Let me through.

==============================================================================

4 - Underground Uprising (UDUG)

Briefing

Mission Objectives

A: Rescue the hostages.

B: Defuse terrorist bomb.

C: Pursue but do not eliminate the female assassin.

D: Avoid civilian casualties.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Overview

Message from M, Head of MI-6:

These terrorists have seized one of the underground railway stations. They are
threatening to trigger a bomb powerful enough to destroy the whole area.

Defuse the situation, Bond, and then find this Cigar Girl and make her talk.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Location & Personnel

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

We've identified your Cigar Girl - she's an Italian national who is on
Interpol's list of known terrorists operating in the Mediterranean. It looks as
if she's moved her area of operations.

We're trying to identify who is sponsoring her activities, but that is going to
take time - and time is something we don't have. The situation in the station
could go critical at any moment.

The police have cordoned off the area, but they tell us there are a number of
civilian hostages in the station. The terrorists are well-armed and totally
dedicated, and we have to take this bomb threat seriously.

We're not sure how many hostiles are down there. We're also getting reports
that they've hijacked a tube train so they may be bringing in reinforcements
even as we speak. You're going to have to move quickly on this one 007, but
watch out for the hostages - don't let an innocent pay for any of your
mistakes.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Equipment

Message from R, Q Branch:

Hmmm, I'd guess these terrorists are going for a fairly simple but powerful
explosive device - it would match their style so far.

Unless they want to blow themselves up too, there will be a delayed fuse -
probably an electronic timing device with a pre-set delay. That would give the
terrorists a chance to evacuate the area before the bomb goes off.

Your job is to get to the device and defuse it with a bomb disposal kit, either
before they trigger it or before that countdown reaches zero. Just make sure
your hands are steady when you find the blasted thing. I'll get the necessary
equipment over to you as soon as possible.

Now, as for the hostages, I'd recommend a little clever thinking here: use your
standard-issue stunner or a flash-bang grenade to stun the terrorists before
they get a chance to do any harm.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intro

[Bond confers with two policemen at the London Underground entry. The street is
barricaded by other police officers.]

POLICE: The woman you're chasing is in this station. Her gunmen have seized the
whole area, and they've got civilians hostage in there. Even worse, we've
reports of some kind of bomb. The whole situation is a mess.

BOND: Keep your men at a safe distance. I'll handle this.

[The second policeman gives Bond a bomb disposal kit.]

POLICE #2: Here sir, you may need this.

Level

[Depending on the difficulty, Bond has approximately five to six minutes to
rescue hostages in the Underground before a terrorist bomb blows up. He
descends deeper and deeper into the train station. The bomb is located in a
bathroom, on top of a toilet. On Agent difficulty, R contacts Bond.]

R: Ahh, hello 007. Q asked me to get in touch. You'll need to use a defuser kit
on these bombs. Now, they may have some kind of anti-tampering device built in,
so if you attempt to defuse one too quickly it's likely to explode.

[Bond defuses it successfully. After, he goes upstairs to find Cigar Girl
making her getaway on a hot air balloon. Bond grabs hold of a rope anchoring
the balloon to the ground.]

Outro

[Bond grips the rope that's still connected to the rising balloon.]

BOND: Tell me who's behind this. I can protect you.

CIGAR GIRL: Not from him!

[Cigar Girl shoots her pistol at a gas tank on the side of the balloon. The
explosion from the tank sends Bond tumbling onto the top of the Millennium
Dome. Later, Bond meets with M and Robinson at MI-6 headquarters in Scotland.]

M: The money had been treated to turn it into an explosive. It was triggered by
a signal via King's lapel pin. Obviously someone close to King switched the
original for this trigger device, but we don't know who.

BOND: There's more - I've worked out that the money Sir Robert paid for the
report was exactly the amount Renard asked as ransom for King's daughter
Elektra. The whole thing was a set-up: Renard wanted me to bring that money
back here. He wanted MI-6 to deliver a bomb to King. It's a message: Renard is
back!

M: After King asked me for help, I sent 009 to kill Renard. Elektra managed to
escape before 009 caught up with the target in Syria.

[Bond and M look at a holographic projection of Renard's skull.]

M: He put a bullet in his head, but Renard somehow survived. The bullet is
still there, and it will eventually kill him, but until then he can feel no
pain, and push himself harder than any normal man. Now King is dead, and MI-6
is humiliated. He's had his revenge.

BOND: Not quite. Renard had three enemies in that kidnapping. Sir Robert King,
MI-6... and the one he hasn't touched. Elektra. She must be next on his list.

M: Elektra has taken over the construction of her father's oil pipeline from
the Caspian Sea. Find out who switched the lapel pin. If Renard returns, make
sure Elektra comes to no harm.

==============================================================================

5 - Cold Reception (CDRN)

Briefing

Mission Objectives

A: Draw terrorists away from Elektra.

B: Destroy fuel dump at tower #1.

C: Destroy fuel dump at tower #2.

D: Get to the bottom of the peak.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Overview

Message from M, Head of MI-6:

The terrorist Renard has returned. Years ago he kidnapped Sir Robert King's
daughter Elektra, and Sir Robert asked for my help. She managed to escape from
his grasp, and I sent 009 after Renard.

It appears he has now returned to exact revenge on us all. He used us to
retrieve King's money, leading us to his death and the destruction of our
headquarters.

If Elektra is Renard's next target, she needs protection. She's taken over the
construction of her father's oil pipeline from the Caspian Sea. She doesn't
need to know that Renard is after her. Don't frighten her - this is a shadow
operation. Remember, Bond, shadows stay behind - or in front - but never on
top.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Location & Personnel

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

Renard's real name is Victor Zokas. He was operating in Moscow in 1996,
Pyongyang, North Korea, before that, and he's been spotted in Afghanistan,
Bosnia, Iraq, Iran, Beirut and Cambodia.

He's an anarchist: his only goal is chaos. He works as a freelancer, although
he has ties with the Russian Mafia. He was the mastermind behind Elektra King's
kidnapping, and the only one of the gang who survived.

M sent 009 to Cyprus to eliminate Renard, but Elektra managed to escape by
herself before he arrived. 009 finally caught up with Renard in Syria, and put
a bullet in his head, but Renard somehow survived. The bullet is still there,
and it will eventually kill him, but until then he can feel no pain. He pushes
himself harder, longer than any normal man.

Elektra King is now completing her father's oil pipeline in the Caucasus
mountains in Turkey. It's an ambitious project: 800 miles of pipeline from the
new oil fields in the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean, through some very
inhospitable terrain. By all accounts though, Elektra is up to the challenge.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Equipment

Message from R, Q Branch:

This is the horrible but rather ingenious device that killed Sir Robert. The
money you recovered had been treated to turn it into an explosive, which was
triggered by a signal via King's lapel pin. Obviously someone close to King
exchanged the original for this trigger device, but we don't yet know whom.

We know that the Cigar Girl you chased triggered the bomb from a transmitter on
her boat, but there must have been an inside man in King's organization, too.

I hear you're off to the Caucasus Mountains. Knowing you, 007, you'll probably
find some excuse for strapping on a pair of skis once you get there. I've got
something that may help you out there: this jacket is fully thermally
insulated, plus in emergencies it can be instantly inflated into a kind of
airbag. Should help you survive even the nastiest of tumbles on the slopes.

Though don't think I've forgiven you for what you did to my lovely new boat.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intro

[Bond and Elektra meet in her villa in Baku, Azerbaijan.]

BOND: M sent me because we're afraid you may be in danger. Someone in your
organization is involved. I'm here to protect you - and find out who was
responsible.

ELEKTRA: My family has relied on MI-6 twice. I won't make the same mistake
again. Now, if you'll excuse me. I have to check the upper survey site. There's
snow and ice up there, so I have to do this on skis.

BOND: I came prepared for a cold reception.

[Bond and Elektra travel by helicopter to King's pipeline site, located in the
Caucasus Mountains of Turkey.]

PILOT: It's too dangerous. Can't land. Wind's too strong.

ELEKTRA: I'll jump. What's the point of living if you can't feel alive?

[Elektra and Bond jump from the helicopter and ski down the snow. They turn
around to see Parahawks gliding towards them.]

BOND: This isn't a social call. Head for the gully. I'll lead them away. Go,
go!

Level

[Bond skis downhill. He must deal with many opponents, who are equipped with
skis, snowmobiles and Parahawks. He also obliterates two fuel dumps.]

Outro

[Bond reunites with Elektra. A King helicopter hovers above them.]

BOND: Elektra! It's alright - you're safe now.

==============================================================================

6 - Night Watch (NTWH)

Briefing

Mission Objectives

A: Avoid alerting Gabor.

B: Avoid alerting Davidov.

C: Avoid any casualties.

D: Find telephones and plant wiretaps.

E: Photograph documents showing Davidov is a traitor.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Overview

Message from M, Head of MI-6:

It's obvious that you were right. Elektra is Renard's next target. We need to
discover the traitor inside King Industries. Elektra's Head of Security, a man
named Davidov, we suspect has been having secret meetings with an unknown
person who we think may be Renard.

We need proof, however, and that is where you come in, 007. Take a look in
Davidov's security office and search for evidence of a conspiracy with Renard.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Location & Personnel

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

Elektra's villa has a high level of security. Take a quiet look around and
determine Davidov's activites.

Our number one suspect is Davidov. He received training from the KGB, but left
when they got reformed. He ended up working for King around 4 years ago. You'll
need to ensure he doesn't catch on to you.

Another person to avoid is Gabor. He's Elektra's bodyguard and is fiercely
loyal to Elektra. He won't take kindly to anyone sneaking around his mistress'
property.

Elektra still doesn't fully trust you, and if she discovers that you're spying
on her employees she'll be furious. Don't harm any of Elektra's other workers -
all but Davidov are certainly innocent.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Equipment

Message from R, Q Branch:

Apart from the patrolling guards, you need to watch out for the cameras.
They've got motion sensors, with a limited range.

Each set of cameras is linked to a nearby security hut, so your best course of
action is probably finding those security centres and disabling their systems.
Be sure to get out of your room without causing suspicion.

Right, now pay attention, 007.

Your P2K is silenced, but there shouldn't be any shooting unless things go
horribly wrong. Your wristwatch dart gun should suffice for most situations.

The other equipment will be far more useful for this mission: our new X-ray
glasses: a digital camera that will operate in almost total darkness: phone
taps: and a safe decryptor to help you gather evidence.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intro

[It's night. Bond goes back to Elektra's villa. Robinson briefs Bond on his
mission.]

ROBINSON: Good evening 007. Elektra's villa has a high level of security. Take
a quiet look around and see what Davidov is up to. R is here to tell you about
the security system.

R: Apart from the patrolling guards, you'll need to watch out for the security
cameras. They've got motion sensors, with a limited range. Each set of cameras
is linked to a nearby security office, so your best course of action is
probably finding those security centres and disabling their systems.

ROBINSON: Be sure to get out of your room without causing suspicion.

[Bond is in a guest bedroom. Gabor looks at Bond from the hallway.]

GABOR: Take care to stay in the room Mr Bond. I would hate for a guard to shoot
you by mistake.

[Gabor shuts and locks the door.]

Level

[Bond leaves the guest room by jumping off the balcony. On Agent difficulty, R
calls him.]

R: Remember 007 you need to utilize all of your stealth training to avoid
detection while in the Villa. Avoid confrontation at all costs.

[Under cover of darkness, Bond disables security cameras, taps phones and
photographs evidence. He finds Davidov's car next to a security office.]

Outro

[Bond sneaks into the back of Davidov's vehicle. Davidov checks documents
inside the security office, then gets in his car and drives into the night.]

==============================================================================

7 - Midnight Departure (MTDE)

Briefing

Mission Objectives

A: Eliminate Davidov.

B: Pick up Davidov's phone.

C: Get controller to land plane.

D: Find Dr. Arkov's ID badge.

E: Find an item to bribe the pilot.

F: Board the plane.

G: Avoid civilian casualties.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Overview

Message from M, Head of MI-6:

Your job is to protect Elektra King from Renard, not to leave her in the middle
of the night.

I hope you have a good reason for your recent activities, 007.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Location & Personnel

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

M's displeased, 007, but I've managed to look into those things you asked
about. The dead body in the back of Davidov's car is Dr. Mikhail Arkov, a
nuclear physicist with the Russian Atomic Energy Department. It looks as if
Davidov is going to pose as Arkov for some reason - you should keep that ruse
alive by posing as Arkov, too, if you get the chance.

Davidov used his office phone to call an old military airstrip that was
supposed to have been shut down years ago. It looks as if Davidov is going to
be catching a plane tonight.

He's also expecting a call back later on, and we've got a cellular number
listed for him. If you can acquire Davidov's cellphone, it will come in
useful.

We took a look at the other items you sent us. Davidov's been receiving large
cash payments from a bank we know is used by the Russian Mafia to launder
money. I'd say that Renard has been paying him off. Davidov isn't innocent,
Bond, and almost certainly the traitor.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Equipment

Message from R, Q Branch:

Well, Bond, if you're going to insist on running around a forest after dark,
I've got a couple of items which should give you an edge over anyone else who's
out there. These night vision goggles will allow you to see clearly even in the
darkest environment. Their power cell will automatically recharge when you're
not using them.

Oh, and we thought you may want something with a little more range than your
P2K.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intro

[Davidov stops the car near a former Soviet military airfield outside of Baku.
He gets out and walks into the woods.]

Level

[Bond exits Davidov's car. Bond then finds and kills his unwitting chauffeur
and picks up his cell phone. He uncovers Dr. Arkov's ID badge and a sports bag
to bribe a pilot. Bond enters a control tower and encounters an air traffic
controller.]

CONTROLLER: Don't hurt me. Who... who are you?

BOND: Bond, James Bond. Now land that plane for me.

CONTROLLER: OK Flight 711, you are cleared for immediate landing. Over.

FLIGHT 711: Roger that control, we'll begin landing at once. Over and out.

[Flight 711 lands near the tower. Bond goes to the plane. He talks to a
henchman who stays inside the airplane.]

HENCHMAN: Who are you?

BOND: Arkov, Mikhail Arkov.

HENCHMAN: You have the transponder code?

BOND: Yes.

PILOT: Do you have something for me, comrade?

BOND: Here.

HENCHMAN: Excellent, welcome aboard.

Outro

[The plane, with Bond now on board, takes off into the sky.]

8 - Masquerade (MSQE)

Briefing

Mission Objectives

A: Infiltrate facility - do not arouse suspicion.

B: Christmas must survive.

C: Avoid innocent casualties.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Overview

Message from M, Head of MI-6:

You do seem to have a nose for trouble, 007. We don’t know what Davidov was
intending to do here, and we don't know who else is involved, so be careful
about trusting anyone until you're sure about their loyalties.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Location & Personnel

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

Right, Bond, you're now in one of the more desolate regions of Kazakhstan. This
place is one of the old Soviet nuclear testing facilities, owned by the Russian
Atomic Energy Department. We've kept an eye on all these places for years. This
one is in the process of being decommissioned - they're disarming and
dismantling any remaining warheads now.

The other scientists are the International Decommissioning Agency, which is a
United Nations-sponsored organization. They'll be managing the decommissioning
to make sure it's environmentally responsible and safe.

The whole place is being guarded by the CIS army, under the command of a man
named Colonel Akakievich. Now, any of the people here may be secretly working
for Renard - those men you are with are disguised as Russian scientists - so
keep pretending you're Dr. Arkov until you know what's really going on.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Equipment

Message from R, Q Branch:

You're on your own for this one Bond. Keep your cool and I'm sure you'll be
fine. You're now disguised as Dr. Arkov. He was supposed to be on assignment
decommissioning this testing facility, and it looks as if Davidov killed him to
take his place.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intro

[Bond and company drive a jeep to the Russian Atomic Defense Agency test
facility in Kazakhstan.]

Level

[Everyone has disembarked from the jeep, and stroll around a camp.]

HENCHMAN: Alright 'Arkov', you'd better find the officer in charge and let him
know you're here.

[Bond walks to Colonel Akakievich.]

AKAKIEVICH: Welcome to Kazakhstan Doctor Arkov. It is not often we see someone
of your stature here.

BOND: I go where the work takes me.

AKAKIEVICH: Oh by the way, you have the transport documents?

[Bond presents the documents to him.]

AKAKIEVICH: Look for our IDA physicist, she'll tell you where you are to go.

[Bond finds the physicist hanging around one of the tents.]

CHRISTMAS: Are you here for a reason? Who are you?

BOND: Arkov, Mikhail Arkov, and you are Miss?

CHRISTMAS: Doctor Jones, Christmas Jones. Papers please.

[Bond shows her the documents.]

CHRISTMAS: Ok, take the elevator. Your friends are already down there.

[Bond and Christmas take the elevator down to a silo.]

CHRISTMAS: Your English is very good for a Russian.

BOND: I studied at Oxford.

CHRISTMAS: The bomb's up ahead. I'll catch up to you. I want to... check
something.

[Bond moves through several tunnels, and finds Renard in one of them. Bond
pulls out his gun and aims it at Renard, who puts up his hands.]

BOND: Expecting Davidov? He caught a bullet, instead of a plane.

RENARD: You can't kill me, I'm already dead.

BOND: Not dead enough for me.

RENARD: I should be grateful, you delivered the money, you killed King, and now
you have brought me the plane.

BOND: That bomb will never leave this place.

RENARD: Neither will you.

[Renard kneels on the ground.]

RENARD: There is no point in living, if you can't feel alive.

[Armed soldiers dressed in fatigues approach Bond and Renard.]

SOLDIER: Drop the gun, now!

[Christmas enters the room as Bond stops pointing his gun at Renard's head.]

SOLDIER: There are too many new faces around here. Everyone to the surface.

[Renard's team draw near the group and shoot at the armed soldiers. Bond and
Christmas take advantage of the confusion and jump down into a blast pit in the
room.]

CHRISTMAS: You're an impostor! Dr Arkov is 63 years old! Who are you?

BOND: Those men are the impostors. They're stealing the bomb.

* New Mission Objectives *
D: Pick up locator card.
E: Escape from blast pit.

[Bond and Christmas extricate themselves from the blast pit by using Bond's
grapple. Bond fights more of Renard's men and comes across a locator card.
Unluckily for Bond, Renard has already entered the elevator and shut the
door.]

RENARD: No hard feelings, Mr. Bond. We're even. Soon you'll feel nothing at
all.

[A bomb starts a countdown of six seconds. Bond grabs a yellow and black
striped bar. The bar manages to move him backward to the blast pit area, while
an explosion fills the tunnel behind Bond. Christmas and Bond find a second
elevator to the surface, just as an explosion looms near them.]

Outro

[Bond and Christmas take a breather on the rising elevator.]

CHRISTMAS: So you're a British spy. Do you have a name?

BOND: The name's Bond... James Bond.

[The explosion rises in the elevator shaft below them. Meanwhile, M and Elektra
meet in the control centre for the King Industries pipeline. They both have
bodyguards idly standing by.]

ELEKTRA: I have a present for you. Something that belonged to my father. He
would have wanted you to have it. He often spoke of how compassionately you
advised him during my kidnapping.

[Elektra proffers a box with King's lapel pin.]

M: His lapel pin? But...

[Elektra's bodyguards swiftly shoot M's guards.]

ELEKTRA: It's very valuable you know. I just couldn't let it explode with the
rest of him. Take her to the helicopter.

9 - City of Walkways I (COWO)

Briefing

Mission Objectives

A: Locate Zukovsky.

B: Keep Christmas Jones alive.

C: Do not eliminate your allies.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Overview

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

We have a red alert, Bond. Elektra King has killed M's guards and abducted
her.

It is imperative that you find M, Bond.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Location & Personnel

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

Elektra told M that she was worried after you went missing in the middle of the
night, and persuaded M to come out to Turkey. It was a trap. Evidently Elektra
and Renard are conspiring together.

I'm sure you remember Valentin Zukovsky. He used to be KGB, but is now the
legitimate owner of a casino and caviar fishery. He is still a useful source of
information, however.

We know that Elektra has been losing large amounts of money at Zukovsky's
casino l'Or Noir in Baku. We think it must have been her way of secretly paying
him off.

Find out what Zukovsky knows, and we may be able to help M.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Equipment

Message from R, Q Branch:

Well, no doubt you will be able to persuade Mr. Zukovsky to talk, one way
another. Still, if you do need to take a quiet look at his records, you may
find this covert modem handy - simply attach it to any computer and it will
download and transmit to us any stored data.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intro

[Bond drives to the City of Walkways, located in the Caspian Sea. Christmas is
in the passenger seat.]

BOND: Robinson. Tell M that Renard has escaped with a nuclear warhead.

ROBINSON: Red alert. Listen 007: M is missing. Elektra King killed her guards
and abducted her.

BOND: Elektra must have been in league with Renard ever since she was
kidnapped.

ROBINSON: It looks that way. What is your current situation?

BOND: I've overlooked one critical element... Beluga Caviar.

Level

[Bond and Christmas enter Valentin Zukovsky's caviar fishery.]

BOND: Quickly, sit over there and look happy to see him.

[Christmas walks to a sofa and sits down. Bond readies his gun behind a door as
Zukovsky enters the area and notices Christmas.]

ZUKOVSKY: I must call security... and congratulate them.

[Bond steps away from the door, pointing his gun at Zukovsky.]

ZUKOVSKY: Can't you just say hello, like any normal person?

BOND: Hello Valentin. I need to know about Renard.

ZUKOVSKY: I'm afraid I cannot help you. Renard is too dangerous to cross, even
for the sake of our old friendship. He would kill me even if he found out you
were here talking to me.

BOND: I think Renard is working with Elektra King. They've stolen a nuclear
warhead, and kidnapped M.

[One of Zukovsky's guards runs into the room.]

GUARD: Helicopters, and mercenaries, lots of them coming this way.

ZUKOVSKY: I see that I have no choice in the matter then. I will make you a
deal: keep those thugs outside away from me, and I'll give you everything I
have on Renard and Elektra. My records are stored on a computer in the office
of the fishery further out from the shore.

* New Mission Objectives *
D: Keep Zukovsky alive.
E: Retrieve computer files.

[Bond makes his way through the fishery, bumping off mercenaries along the way.
He downloads the necessary files off the computer. He then climbs down a ladder
and walks on a dock.]

Outro

[Bond dashes for a building as a helicopter passes nearby.]

==============================================================================

10 - City of Walkways II (COWT)

Briefing

Mission Objectives

A: Return to Zukovsky.

B: Collect equipment from Zukovsky's car.

C: Do not eliminate your allies.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Overview

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

So, it seems Elektra will go to extremes to prevent Zukovsky from telling you
anything. Get back to him as fast as possible and make sure that he and Doctor
Jones are still safe.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Location & Personnel

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

We're picking up traces of multiple helicopters closing on your position, Bond.
They are normally used by King Industries to clear forest sites, but they'd
make pretty effective weapons too. Stay out of their way.

This whole place is a maze of walkways and warehouses, so even if one route
gets cut off you should still be able to find a way back to Zukovsky so long as
you keep moving.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Equipment

Message from R, Q Branch:

We're analyzing the data you got from Zukovsky's computers now. It is going to
take a while unfortunately - he's been a busy man. We'll keep at it, but I
don't think you've got time to dawdle.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intro

[Helicopters fly above the walkways. A chain of spinning blades are joined to
the bottom of each helicopter.]

Level

[Bond navigates through the byzantine walkways and warehouses. He finally
reaches Zukovsky's car and picks up the equipment.]

* New Mission Objective *
D: Destroy the attack helicopter.

[And that's what Bond does with the help of a missile launcher.]

Outro

[Bond walks in another building to see Zukovsky treading caviar in his vat.]

ZUKOVSKY: I sometimes get hold of Russian machinery for Elektra King. She's
paying me $1,000,000 for a special job. My nephew Nikolai is smuggling some
equipment to Istanbul for her. Elektra has tried to kill me already, so Nikolai
may be in danger.

[Bond helps Zukovsky out of the vat.]

ZUKOVSKY: This is my business now too, Mr Bond.

==============================================================================

11 - Turncoat (TNCT)

Briefing

Mission Objectives

A: Pursue Bullion - don't let him get away.

B: Rescue the hostages.

C: Christmas must survive.

D: Avoid innocent casualties.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Overview

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

We need to know where Elektra and Renard have taken M.

It looks as if Zukovsky will be able to help you find out.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Location & Personnel

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

It appears that Zukovsky has taken over what used to be a KGB safe house during
the cold war, and is using the communications equipment there for his own
affairs.

Hopefully Zukovsky will be able to contact his nephew, Nikolai, and discover
where Nikolai is supposed to be delivering his smuggled goods to Elektra.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Equipment

Message from R, Q Branch:

Well, there's not a lot we can help you with here, 007. There's one point of
hope however. M is carrying the locator card, which Renard's men took from the
warhead when they stole it from Kazakhstan.

This card has a GPS signal transmitter built in, and if M can somehow
reactivate the card you might be able to track her.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intro

[Bond and Christmas follow Zukovsky around a building packed with machines.
Zukovsky has his bodyguard/driver Bullion with him. A guard is using a
laptop.]

ZUKOVSKY: This used to be a KGB safe house. We're trying to use the
surveillance equipment to contact Nikolai's submarine.

BOND: Submarine... What class of submarine?

[Bond and Zukovsky walk over to a map posted on a bulletin board.]

ZUKOVSKY: You call it a Victor 3.

[The group examines the map.]

BOND: Nuclear! That's what Renard wants - the sub itself. If they put the
warhead in the sub's reactor they'll get an instant catastrophic meltdown!

ZUKOVSKY: But why?

BOND: The explosion will destroy Istanbul, and contaminate the Bosphorus for
decades. There will be only one way to get oil out of the Caspian Sea -
Elektra's pipeline.

[The guard with the laptop speaks up.]

GUARD: I've got something on the emergency frequency. Two six-digit numbers,
cycled every fifteen seconds.

BOND: That's a GPS signal. It must be M, using the locator card from the bomb.
The signal is coming from here.

[Bond indicates a point on the map.]

ZUKOVSKY: Maiden's Tower.

[Bullion abruptly walks out of the room. Bond looks around and sees a...]

BOND: Bomb!

[Everyone sprints away from the bomb. Fortunately, the blast manages to only
knock them to the floor.]

BOND: I've got to stop Bullion warning Renard!

[Bond runs outside.]

Level

[Bond chases after Bullion through streets and buildings and on roofs. On Agent
difficulty, R describes Bond's task.]

R: 007, Zukovsky's driver Bullion planted the bomb. Don't let him get away.

[Other enemies slow down Bond's hunt. Bond must also free hostages. R can
contact him a few times.]

R: Remember, M's life is on the line.

R: You must hurry, Bond.

Outro

[Bond catches up to Bullion. Unfortunately, he has taken Christmas hostage.]

BULLION: Drop your gun, or the lovely Doctor dies.

BOND: Zukovsky doesn't like to be double-crossed.

BULLION: I've got a new boss now - Miss King would like to see you.

[A submarine emerges in a secret quay under Maiden's Tower. Nikolai meets with
Renard and a guard on the docks.]

RENARD: Captain Nikolai?

NIKOLAI: Sir. Ready to load your cargo.

RENARD: Excellent. Time to settle our account.

[The guard guns down Nikolai. Renard meets with Elektra next.]

RENARD: The reactor is secure. Everything is going as planned. This is the
end.

ELEKTRA: No, this is the beginning. The world will never be the same again!

==============================================================================

12 - Fallen Angel (FNAL)

Briefing

Mission Objectives

A: Open security door with scanned fingerprint from Bullion.

B: Rescue M at all costs.

C: Stop Elektra from warning Renard.

D: Do not eliminate your allies.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Overview

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

This isn't looking good, 007.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Location & Personnel

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

We know the location of M. She's in the tower, and it's absolutely critical
that you find a way to free her unharmed.

If Elektra is there, her bodyguard Gabor will be close by. It looks as if Bull
is working for her too, which won't please your friend Zukovsky.

You must stop Elektra and Renard from escaping with that submarine. If they
manage to detonate the reactor, then the whole city will be destroyed, and
millions of innocent people will die.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Equipment

Message from R, Q Branch:

Oh dear. There are a number of devices that could help you out here, but
unfortunately you're not carrying any of them.

Good luck, 007.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intro

[Elektra has captured Bond. His limbs and neck are restrained in a chair, while
Elektra scrutinizes him. Nearby, there's a small table with a gun, cell phone
and Nikolai's cap.]

ELEKTRA: I could have given you the world.

BOND: The world is not enough.

[Zukovsky walks in the room.]

ZUKOVSKY: I'm looking for a submarine. It's big, black, and the driver is a
very good friend of mine.

[Zukovsky sees his nephew's hat.]

ZUKOVSKY: Bring it to me.

[Elektra strides over to the small table, picks up the gun and takes aim at
Zukovsky. She shoots him before he can fire his own gun. Zukovsky collapses to
the floor. Elektra flees. Zukovsky fires his gun at Bond's restraints and Bond
is free.]

Level

[Zukovsky is dying on the floor.]

ZUKOVSKY: Avenge... the death... of Nikolai.

[Zukovsky dies. There are two exits out of the room. One goes outside, one
heads upstairs. One of Zukovsky's guards waits on the staircase.]

GUARD: We tried to follow Elektra but she ran through a security door with a
fingerprint-activated lock. You have to find a way to open it.

[When Bond finds the security door, R provides information on Agent
difficulty.]

R: Ah yes, a standard fingerprint-coded lock. We issued you with a rather
clever little device to beat just this kind of thing, but I dare say you've
lost it. All you need to do is scan the prints of someone who has security
clearance, and feed the data into the lock's input scanner. Simple really.

[Bond finds an Id scanner with nothing on it in one of the rooms. Outside,
Bullion is on a dock where Bond has to kill him. Bond scans Bullion's
fingerprint into the Id scanner. Bond opens a security door with the
fingerprint, and finally locates the jail cells where M is imprisoned.]

M: Get me out of here, Bond.

[Bond frees M from her cell, just as Elektra and two of her bodyguards walk up
to them.]

ELEKTRA: Sorry James, I can't let you take M away from me before I've finished
with her. Put your weapons down, now.

[Elektra walks away with M, leaving her personal bodyguard Gabor to deal with
Bond.]

ELEKTRA: Finish him.

[Bond subdues Gabor. He tracks down Elektra and M to a room upstairs. Elektra's
using a cell phone and Bond aims a gun at her. M stands in between the two
adversaries.]

ELEKTRA: Hello James. Put the gun away - you wouldn't kill me, you'd miss me.

[Bond successfully shoots Elektra.]

Outro

[Bond dives off the roof of Maiden's Tower.]

==============================================================================

13 - A Sinking Feeling (SKFG)

Briefing

Mission Objectives

A: Board submarine.

B: Locate and rescue Christmas unharmed.

C: Gain access to control room.

D: Avoid submarine crew casualties.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Overview

Message from M, Head of MI-6:

Well Bond, it seems your suspicions about Elektra King were right all along.
She might not be a problem any longer, but Renard is still in possession of a
warhead and a nuclear submarine. If you're also right about his plan, you must
stop Renard before he destroys Istanbul.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Location & Personnel

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

Doctor Jones has already been taken on board. Renard is getting ready to leave,
so you won't have a lot of time.

With Elektra dead, he won't have anything left to lose, so be careful, Bond. He
won't hesitate to execute Christmas if he thinks you're onto him.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Equipment

Message from R, Q Branch:

Hmmm, a Victor-3 class submarine eh? The only way you're going to get on board
is through the hatch on top of the con tower.

Victor-3 submarines all have an alarm and intercom system. Our satellite
surveillance of your location has also indicated that the dock itself has
similar security. You'll need to make sure no one gets a chance to raise the
alarm or it will all be over.

Of course, you can disable the alarms using the laser we thoughtfully fitted in
your wristwatch.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intro

[Christmas is led at gunpoint onto Renard's submarine.]

RENARD: Welcome to my nuclear family.

Level

[Bond arrives at the quay's dock. The submarine is about to depart.]

BOND: I have to get on board that sub before its too late.

[Bond boards the submarine and finds Christmas confined in a room. Bond shoots
her captor.]

CHRISTMAS: Oh James.

BOND: Thought I'd forgotten you?

* New Mission Objective *
E: Escort Christmas to Mine Room.

[Bond leads Christmas to the mine room.]

BOND: Stay here. I have to disable this submarine.

CHRISTMAS: OK, I'll wait here.

[Bond enters the control room.]

* New Mission Objective *
F: Destroy steering controls.

[Bond annihilates the steering controls.]

Outro

[The submarine plummets. The front of the sub becomes embedded in the seabed,
while the rest of the vessel twists upward.]

==============================================================================

14 - Meltdown (MTDN)

Briefing

Mission Objectives

A: Enter the reactor chamber.

B: Eliminate Renard.

C: Protect Christmas.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Overview

Message from M, Head of MI-6:

There's no time to waste, Bond. Find Renard and stop him at all costs.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Location & Personnel

Message from Robinson, Chief of Staff:

Remember, if Renard inserts that plutonium rod into the sub's reactor, it will
trigger a nuclear meltdown. You can't let that happen.

It's all up to you now, 007.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mission Equipment

Message from R, Q Branch:

Everything's gone topsy-turvy, hmmm? Well, the grapple in your watch should
help you to get around without too much difficulty. Keep an eye out for places
you can properly attach it.

Since the core temperature is rising, Renard must already be in the reactor
room. You won't have much time before it reaches meltdown point.

Oh, and remember that guns don't work underwater.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Intro

[The submarine has turned sideways in the water.]

Level

[Bond swims and grapples through the tilted vessel. He finds the reactor
chamber.]

* New Mission Objective *
D: Stop the meltdown.

[Renard slides most of the plutonium rod into the reactor. Bond ejects the rod,
and its sudden expulsion impales Renard.]

RENARD: I... feel... nothing.

* New Mission Objective *
E: Escape the flooding sub.

[Bond does this.]

Outro

[Bond and Christmas swim away from the wrecked submarine. Afterwards, the two
celebrate on a balcony with two glasses of champagne.]

BOND: I've always wanted to have Christmas in Turkey.

[They drink and then kiss as fireworks explode behind them.]

JAMES BOND WILL RETURN.
