Game Trivia

  • This game fixed an oversight in the Generation 2 core Pokémon games: the Dragon Fang was supposed to be the item that boosted Dragon Type Moves by 10% when held, but it had no actual effect and the boosting effect was instead applied to the Dragon Scale Item, normally used to evolve Seadra into Kingdra.

This was the first game to fix this oversight, and the Items have the proper effects applied ever since.
