S-RANK: Normal Mode - Mine - Seismic - Beck
- Brandish
- Battalion
For this levels S-Rank I feel getting the amazing bonus and the sprinter bonuses were very important. There are several sprinter bonuses. There are also two easy fine plays to acquire during the seismic boss battle. I would like you to choose Brandish and Battalion as your reXelection powers. Brandish mainly for the enemies and Battalion for the larger crates. These will be abundant towards the end of the level.
The amazing can be acquired right near the stack of three energy boxes. All you want to do is slide underneath them from the rising and lowering platform. ( easier said than done ). You can also gain a sprinter bonus if you are fast going down to the next part of the level at this point for 3000 points. Know that if you press Down on the directional pad that you will screw downwards, this results in going down much faster. However, also know, that you can not dash out of a screw fall.
Next up for the sprinter bonus would be the drill section. Get through this one as quick as possible and you will get another sprinter bonus. The third sprinter bonus is right after the last one. Keep going fast until battalion shows up and you may acquire it. The fourth sprinter bonus is near the giant drill after the point where you must "hang" on the moving platform to get past the dual-sided purple electrical spikes. You should use a downward screw jump here to speed things up. The fifth and final sprinter bonus is right during the final drill scene in the narrow pathway. Get through that one quick and you can get a huge bonus in points for all of these. In addition, don't forget the amazing. Plus we still have two fine plays to acquire for 3000 points each.
For the boss fight, it is really simple, however here are the notes on the two fine plays. First, wait for Seismic to call down his crates onto beck. Once he does he will also call down a huge square boulder. Blow up the boulder quickly with Battalion for a fine play #1. Next, you want to dash into seismic while he is charging at you with the base seismic ability. You can only do this for the fine play when he is purple/pixelated. That's about it I got around 79000+ and despite this level being really tough, the S-Rank was pretty easy due to their being so many bonuses and the amazing.

AMAZING!
***********************
This is one of six amazing's in the game. If you can get them all you will acquire a difficult trophy to achieve. They are also a huge help in getting those extra points in harder levels or harder modes of the game. You can get this one if you slide right through the three energy boxes. This is right near sprinter bonus number one and the rising and lowering pink platform.
Sprinter Bonuses:
- Go quickly down the first checkpoint area, near the three energy boxes.
- At the first giant drill section, make it through extra quick.
- Make it through the corridor with the three explosive barrels with exclamation points. Battalion may show up here.
- After hanging on the platform and then falling down you may receive this sprinter bonus.
- The narrow hallway with the giant drill.
Fine Plays:
- Vs Seismic wait until he calls down a large square boulder to his hand and then blast it with Remote Cannon ( Battalion ).
- Vs Seismic wait until he charges at you with the bulldozer + white shield. When he is purple/pixelated dash into him for the fine play.
Normal Mode Walkthrough: Seismic - Mine - Beck:
One of the best-looking levels thus far. that is a bit easy with the Remote Cannon. Once again we will probably be doing not only a hard mode but S rank run as well so stay tuned for more on this level and boss. Possibly even a power buster only run. This level can be really tough as Beck or Ray. The purple electric spikes can one shot kill your character at any time you touch them. There are also plenty of enemies and crazy platforms that you will have to work your way around.
One area to have a major note is the platform that you must "hang" on. There is a platform that runs directly into some purple spikes. This is all going on while the giant drill is burrowing at Beck through the tunnels. The player must hang from the platform than drop down. Dashing through this point will not work. As an extra note, there is a small health pack with a smiling face to the left of our objective platform. After completing this section, the level is still pretty tough. However, it is one of the more notable difficulty spikes in the level/game. Seismic's level is tough, this game can be tough so hang in there you are not the only one.

Ξ Strong Charge Ξ
Hold down the attack button to change your lower half to caterpillar treads. Charging enemies in this state will damage them. You can also trample them while in the air. Crashing into destabilized enemies will send them flying! Launched objects can act as projectiles knocking into other objects. On the other hand, you can not absorb them. Certain objects cannot be launched. AcXel Shoot effects give increased attack as well as less energy usage.
