A. Introduction

This guide lists all the units so far for Metal Slug Defense by SNK Playmore.

It basically serves as a quick guide for those who want to see all the units available in the game and a few tidbits of information and description for the units.

The Metal Slug Defense build this guide is written for is v 1.13.0.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

B. Units

Unit Organization by Metal Slug Factions
I. Human Regular Army
II. Human Rebel Army
III. Human - Ptolemaic Army
IV. Vehicles Regular Army
V. Vehicles Rebel Army
VI. Vehicles - Ptolemaic Army
VII. Boss Vehicles
VIII. Martians
IX. Monsters
X. Animals
XI. Other

Information on the units will be given in this format:

  • Name: Name of the unit.
    • HP: Amount of HP at Level 20/Amount of HP at Level 25 There is a formula for calculating HP levels so you can predict the unit's overall health at level 25. Level 20 HP is 2x Level 1 HP. The increases from 20 to 25 are more random though. Generally it is 2.5x level 1 HP, but units that are usually farther removed from the front such as Patrol Robot and Utan have much lower HP increases beyond Level 20. Not that it really matters for them, you level them up for an increase in attack.
    • AP: AP Cost to deploy.
    • Movement Speed: Overall movement speed of unit.
    • Production Speed: Overall production speed of unit, aka the time it takes for the box to be tappable again after deployment.
    • Regular Attack: The normal attack of the unit when encountering an enemy.
    • Special Attack: The special ability of the unit; special abilities are used when a unit with a blue aura is tapped.
    • Method of Procurement: Certain units require special conditions in the game to be fulfilled before they are available in the players deck or the game shop. Unfortunately, I dont quite remember how to obtain most of the units so most of these will be empty. I need help on this.
    • Trivia: Information about the unit's role in the Metal Slug series.
