After completing the game you will have full access to the Master ability which is found in the middle of the mirror rooms. To check which treasures you missed (should be a lot >>) check you map and see if anymore rooms airen't shining. If they're airen't it means there's a chest in that room you missed. Well happy hunting and go for 100% :D 8. - Bosses - Here are the bosses and mini-bosses throughout the game and boss strategies from chuchino :D Moonlight Mansion: King Golem King Golem is like Whispy Woods, except rocks and Gordos fall instead of apples and he spits out golem enemies instead of air puffs. He's pretty easy. Just grab an ability, then go right beside him and attack with it. It shouldn't be very long before you beat him and get a shard. If you lose your ability, just grab it and resume your attack. Cabbage Cavern: Moley Molly pops his head up in one of 6 places. Every so often he will pause and begin to throw random objects at you, which include bombs, rocks, and buzzsaw type things. Get the hammer ability from Bonkers, the ape miniboss, before going into the boss room. When Molly pauses to throw, quickly run up to him and do a hammer uppercut (Up+B). It should take 3-4 hits with the uppercut to beat him. Mustard Mountain: Kracko Kracko has a variety of attacks. He can make an electric beam that spins around him, make it rain on you, drop enemies, create a thunderbolt and 2 different ways of swooping down to the ground. Anyways, attack him with whatever ability you have. If he creates a Flamer (enemy that gives you burning ability), unless you already have a better ability you should drop your ability and get burning, which is quite effective against Kracko. Defeat him and get your shard. Carrot Castle: Mega Titan MegaTitan has 2 forms. Once you beat the first, you must beat the second to defeat him. 1st form: MegaTitan's first form is invulnerable to everything but electricity. The only way to hurt him is to use an electric attack like Beam or Spark, or use a non electric attack to push him into the electrified walls. I find the second one easier, but it's your choice. Anyways, MegaTitan flies around the room, and shoots his four hads at you, which create stars for you to spit at him when they hit walls. When he gets near an electrified wall, attack him with his stars or a non-electric ability to hurt him. It takes four hits. (if you chose the first way, not much strategy is required, just hit him.) 2nd form: Way too easy. MegaTitan's second form flies around the room shooting missiles. If you have an ability, drop and, and suck in his missiles then spit them at him. Two hits will kill him. Olive Ocean: Gobbler Gabriel basically just charges at you every so often, and sometimes will jump out of the water if to get you if you're on the above water platforms. She also has three mini-shark things that follow and sometimes attack you. No strategy needed here. Just stay underwater and constantly squirt her or attack her with an ability. Peppermint Palace: Wiz Wiz is similar to Paint Roller. He jumps around the room stopping at six different point, then pulls stuff out of his at and throws it at you. He can be hurt while pulling stuff out of his hat. He's also extremely fast and hard to dodge, so expect to lose quite a bit of health. Anyways, some good abilities are Bomb and Tornado. With Bomb, constantly pelt him with bombs. With Tornado, constanly ram him while tornado-spinning. I personally like tornado better. Having no ability works too, just spit the stuff he throws back at him until you win the fight. Radish Ruins: Dark Meta-Knight Dark Meta-Knight is quite difficult. He's really fast and his attacks are hard to dodge. But if you get the Ice ability beforehand, he'll be a lot easier. Call you kirby friends to help with the battle. Just constanly breathe ice at him, and he'll die soon enough. If you lose your ability, get it back and resume attacking as quickly as possible. Candy Constellation: Master Hand and Crazy Hand This is like battling 2 Master Hand minibosses at once. They do have some new attacks, like clapping and slamming their fists together (which both create stars). Try to enter the battle with the Smash Bros ability, and it will be really easy. Use the spinning hammer attack (Dash then Jump+B) to beat them quick. The Final Battles: 1st battle: Dark Metaknight This is pretty much the same as the Radish Ruins battle, but he has some new attacks, like a sword blast and a tornado attack. He needs to charge up for both of them. Use Fire or Ice. If you see him charging up, quickly get behind him and breathe fire or ice at him, because if he's doing the tornado attack he'll leave himself vulnerable for a long time. 2nd-5th battle: Dark Mind 1st form You get Meta-Knight's sword, Master, for the final battles. You battle Dark Mind 4 times before he changes to his 2nd form. Each time he adds a new attack or two. Most of his attacks involve shooting stars at you in various different ways, but he can also make the mirrors around him spin rapidly and drop a bomb that hurts you no matter where you are when it explodes. For the mirror attack, run to the opposite side of the field, and for the bomb, attack it quicly to destroy it before it blows up. To hurt him, attack him when he begins to flash. Use the spinning charge (Dash+B) to beat him easily. 6th battle: Dark Mind 2nd form This is the hardest form of Dark Mind. He has tons of attacks and takes lots of hits. Anyways, attack his eye whenever it's open, but most importantly, attack his mirrors to beat him quicker. When he does the attack where he stays in one place an spins his mirrors aroud, get beside him and constantly slash the mirrors. When he does the attack where he slowly moves down and his mirror criss-cross across the screen, stand in the middle on the screen and constantly use the upward jab. You should break both mirror, which will do a lot of damage. Play the goal game a few times to get lots of extra lives before attempting the final battles if you still can't beat Dark Mind. Final Battle: Dark Mind Final Form After beating Dark Mind's most powerful form (his 2nd) he will be severly weakened and fly away. Kirby will hop on his warp-star and chase him. Dodge his stars and shoot him with stars of your own. Once you wear his health meter down to nothing the credits will roll. (This is technically the final battle, but I think it's just there to set up a minigame for you to play during the credits. The second form is the real final battle.) Miniboss Guide: Note: If you have an ability, the basic strategy for all minibosses is attack, attack, attack. I will cover the strategies you should use if you don't have an ability. Mr. Frosty: Mr. Frosty gives you Ice ability. He has 4 attacks: Throw ice cube Throw giant ice cube Eat you and spit you out Charge Anyways, when he charges at you, jump over him, or he'll pick you up and use his eat and spit out attack. When he stops and shakes his butt, he'll throw either an ice cube or a giant ice cube. You'll need to use the advanced inhale to suck up the giant ice cube, so try to time when you start inhaling in case he throws a giant one. He takes about 4 hits, and I think the giant ice cube does more damage, although I'm not sure. Bonkers: Bonkers gives you Hammer ability. He has 5 attacks: Charge Hammer Jump and Hammer Rapid Smash Throw Coconut Anyways, the basic battle pattern of Bonkers is simple. He'll walk around a bit, then charge at you, and when he's close enough he'll pound you with his hammer, or jump in the air and pound you if you're too high up, and possibly do the rapid smash where he pounds you constantly with his hammer, both which create stars you can spit at him. Then he'll jump backwards and throw a coconut at you, which you can spit at him. He takes about 5 hits. Phan Phan: Phanphan gives you Throw ability. She has 3 attacks: Roll Drop apple Throw Phan phan will jump around for a bit, then either use her roll or drop apple move. If you touch PhanPhan at anytime, you'll either get hurt or she'll use its throw attack then you'll get hurt. When it drops and apple, spit it at it. It takes 3-4 hits (I'm not sure). Boxy: (Name?) Boxy gives you Magic ability. It has 2 attacks: Charge Throw Present Anyways, it will bounce around, then every so often either charge at you or throw a present. The present can turn into a bomb, a tiny waddle dee (both of which you can get abilities from, although i don't know why you'd want to have minimize ability) and on rare occasions, an item (like a Peppy Tonic or a Cell Battery). Spit the presents back at it to beat it. I think it takes 5 hits, I'm not sure. Box Boxer: The dog gives you Fighter ability. It has 5 attacks: Grab and Slam Blast Ground Pound Charge Punch I'd suggest coming into a battle with this guy with a long range ability instead of none, but here's the strategy. He'll either do a normal jump in the air, a blast attack (which you can suck up), or a ground pound (which creates stars) then charge at you. Sometimes he does nothing. If he does one of the last two, suck it up, spit it at him, then jump over him while he charges or he'll use his Grab and Slam attack. Every so often he'll punch too, so stay as far away as possible from him. He takes about 5 hits. Bombar: The airplane miniboss gives you Missile ability. He has 2 attacks: Shoot missile Drop bomb Anyways, don't even bother killing him with his own ammo. Just keep spitting his missiles back at him until he decides to start dropping bombs. Swallow the bombs to get Bomb ability. Pelt him to death with bombs. Or, spit his bombs at him if you want to do it the sucker way. I think he takes 5 hits, but i'm not sure. Batafire: The fire bat miniboss gives you burning ablilty. He has 2 attacks: Swoop Fireball Anyways, stay the top of the battle place watching him attack you until he begins to slowly fly to the middle, which is your cue to drop down and land beside him. He'll use his fireball attack, which shoots fireballs everywhere. Suck them up and spit them at him. Try to get more than one fireball shot at him before he stops attacking. He takes about 4 hits.
