Is This a Prequel?

  1. Is this a prequel to Beyond Oasis and its sequel for the Saturn? There isn't much info and the game shares many similarities except for it's battle system.

  1. It's got a similar name and takes place in a similar Arabian Nights type of setting, but Defenders of Oasis isn't related to the other two Oasis games. Legend of Oasis and Beyond Oasis were both made by Ancient, whereas Defenders of Oasis was made by Sega.

  1. The Japanese title for Defenders of Oasis is Shadam Crusader: Harukanaru Oukoku. The Japanese title of Beyond Oasis is The Story of Thor: A Successor of the Light, and the title of Legend of Oasis is Thor ~Chronicles of the Elemental King~. The local titles can cause some confusion, but if you know the Japanese titles, it becomes more obvious.
