All Sonic games unite into one game!

Sonic Mega Collection Review by goldmario

Rating 10/10

--------------------------------------------

This is a great game. It brings back many fun memories of the old days (7 years ago) when I had a Sega Genesis and Sega CD. This game has a lot of the original Sonic games and a few secret ones (like Flicky and that blue spheres game). It includes Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 2 & Knuckles, Sonic 3, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic Spinball, and Dr. Robotniks Mean Bean Machine. These games are some of Sega’s best games ever. If you miss the games, want them on a newer system, threw out your Sega Genesis, or just want the games, this is the perfect Sonic game for you to buy. Here are my ratings:

Graphics: 10/10- The Sonic games included in this magnificent game have very good graphics, considering that these games were on a 16-bit system. The graphics could have used some updating. They could have made the stages 3D like Green Hill in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

Music: 10/10- The music is the same from the Genesis. There are very little improvements. The music is one of the best parts in this game. If you like music from video games this is another good reason to buy this game.

Game Play: 10/10- Sonic and Tails are easy to control in each of the games. In Mean Bean Machine, the beans are easy to move and the controls are easy to figure out. If you can’t figure the controls out, read the manuals.

Replay Value: 10/10- You can replay all of the games in this great game. You can fight the bosses over again and replay all of the levels. The only bad thing about this game is that in some games (Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic & Knuckles, and Sonic Spinball) you cannot save your data. That means that you have to beat some games in one sitting. If you don’t have time for that, then you’re out of luck unless you cheat.

Overall: 10/10- A great game to buy. You should buy this game if you love the Sonic series and want something to remember all of the Genesis games from. You can even see Movies, view some great illustrations, and view some Sonic comics. This is better than any of the Sega Smash Packs available. The only thing that could make it better is Knuckles Chaotics or Sonic CD!
