  1. It's a clock with a little bit of interactivity. An auto-running Mario walks to the left and you can make him run faster by pushing B or jump with A. There are coins in the level that you can reach, but the whole game is an extremely small set of platforms repeated endlessly, sometime with a bunch of coins over a POW block thrown in to get you some free coins because you start the same set of platforms all over again. Every time you get 100 coins you swap out to your brother and when you get 1200 coins (100 for each number on the clock's face) you see the ending from SMB 1 complete with a message that you can press B to start a new quest. This new quest is....Identical to the first one as far as I can tell, but I didn't get any more than 200 coins into it so maybe there are two POW blocks sometimes or something.

If you need your DSi to be an alarm clock then mission accomplished, but don't buy this expecting a game.

  1. This is a clock, analog or digital, and you play as mario and luigi to collect coins and go through levels to save peach, all while you can set alarms for the clock with soundtracks from mario games and watch the seconds go by. It's actually pretty fun.

  2. Yeah, don't buy it expecting a game- buy it expecting a functioning clock with an addictive, never-ending microgame. =) Also, every 15 minutes of the hour, the background changes. (1:15, 1:30, 1:45, 2:00, etc.)
