Wanderer: I know a thing or two about Illusia Isle. It is abundantly blessed with natural beauty and has a very agreeable climate. I have had the pleasure of visiting many places in my time. But I believe that this is still the most amazing land I have seen.
Gnome: Ahh, another nice day. On days like this, my favorite thing to do is have a picnic under the Mana Tree. Oh, or a barbecue wouldn't be a bad idea either!
Grampa Tony: The reason Moti came to this island in the first place was to lead our expedition. When the research was over, we all decided to make this place our home. We asked Moti to become out mayor, and he agreed. He may be young, but's a very capable fellow.
Tamber: Well, hello, Ferrik. Are you keeping up with your sword training? You're naturally talented. It would be a shame not to apply yourself and do your best.
Undine: Ten years ago, people were suffering, inside and out. They were in the depths of despair. But they hadn't given up. Of course, now they're doing fine. They're practically as good as new. Humans are made of pretty tough stuff, eh?
Ferrik: Hello, Tess.
Tess: Oh, hi, Ferrik.
Ferrik: Isn't it time for you to go and pray soon?
Tess: Yes, I was just about to leave.
Ferrik: Doing more research today?
Tess: Yes. I've noticed some troubling things lately...
Ferrik: Like what?
Tess: Well, maybe it's just my imagination... but something strange is going on with the plants and animals. They seem restless, almost as if they're afraid of something.
Ferrik: Really... I can't really tell, but I hope it's nothing.
Tess: Me too... Oh, yeah. Would you mind taking this to Moti for me?
Ferrik: To Moti? Why don't you -
Tess: I'm going to be late for prayers. Please? Pretty please?
Ferrik: You don't take no for an answer, do you?
Tess: Tell him they're the notes he wanted on abnormal plant growth. He'll know what you mean.
Ferrik: Okay. I'll make sure he gets them.
