Pokémon version Black 2 and Pokémon version White 2 were released in June 2012
in Japan and October 2012 in USA and Europe for the Nintendo DS. The game was
developed by Game Freak and edited by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. Pokémon
version Black 2 and Pokémon version White 2 are the direct sequel of Pokémon
Version Black and Pokémon version White, released two years before in Japan and
one year before in USA and Europe.

First of all, it’s highly recommended that you play Pokémon Black or White
before playing the sequel. Pokémon version Black 2 and Pokémon version White 2
take place in the same world as Black and White, 2 years after the events that
occurred in those games.
The game offers an interesting story, though it can take a moment to develop, it
was a bit disappointing that it’s near the end of the main story that major
events occurs. Anyway, it’s really interesting to discover how the world changed
since Black and White and how the characters evolved since the events with the
Team Plasma. The game also adds new routes and new cities to discover.
Graphics of the game hasn’t evolved since Black and White, but the charm is
still there. It’s still appreciable to see how the environment is affected by
seasons or Pokémon's animations during battles.
The game soundtrack brings back a lot of the music from Black and White that was
already excellent, and add new brilliant tracks like the theme against the Neo
Team Plasma or against the Rival.
Gameplay didn’t change since Black and White, though the game adds a lot more
content than before: the Pokémon World Tournament, the Medal Rally, the Join
Avenue, the Pokéstar Studios, and many others. All this new interesting content
brings hours of challenge and replayability.
As a conclusion, I consider Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 as the best Pokémon
game. The game has great qualities but it exceeds every other Pokémon game
thanks to its huge content.

My first advice would be to warn you, it will take a lot of time, and a lot of
medals requires to do the same thing for a stupid amount of times. It took me
around 300 hours to get 248 medals without hacking, the others missing are near
impossible to get. Even if it’s still possible to play online thanks to a custom
server, you’ll need to know that because of the wifi shutdown, medals related to
the Pokémon Global Link are impossible to get today besides hacking. Some medals
are also harder to get since there’s not a lot of people playing the game
nowadays, some medals require to play with 30 people in local or to get a score
of 1,000 in a funfest mission, which is impossible to do alone.
If you’re still brave enough to try to complete the medal rally, or to get the
most medals you can, then this guide is made for you.
For each medal, I’ve put the medal numero, the name of the medal, and the
difficulty I've estimated to get the medal. Then I’ve written the requirement,
and for some medals few tips that could help. When different medals require to
do the same mission but a different amount of time (for example, you get a medal
for saving 10 times, another for saving 20 times…), I’ve put advices for the
first medal but that can be used for the following medals instead of repeating
myself.
For more specific info, for example how to get goods endings in Pokéstar movies,
or the Pokémon your opponent can use in certain battle, you should easily find
others guide on internet.
You can use “ctrl+f” and search for the medal numero or the name to navigate
faster.
I choose to class the medals in four categories of difficulties: Easy, Medium,
Hard and Extreme for the hardest ones.
For the medals that can’t be done because of the Wifi shutdown, I’ve marked them
with “Impossible”.
For precision, when I wrote “It should be done during the main adventure”, it
means that the medal is easy to obtain, you will probably get it during your
main adventure (from the beginning of the game to the defeat of the elite four
and champion), so don’t worry if you haven’t finished the main story, you should
easily get the medal later.
Also, “It can be done easily during your playthrough” means that you should get
the medal near the postgame content.
If you need to train your Pokémon, I recommend you doing it in the Black Tower
or White Tree hollow when you have access to it, since you need to battle 1,000
trainers there to get one medal.
By the way, some medals require to do X times the requirement, but the game
doesn’t show your progress. If you can, try to keep count of your progress for
the following medals that are relatively hard to get: “Rail Enthusiast” (the
number of different trains your saw); “Best Minigamer”; “Balloon Conqueror”;
“Exam Genius”; and “1,000 Wins”.
A lot of medals requirement can’t be done alone. It can be really helpful for
certain medals to have at least 2 Nintendo DS and another Pokémon game of the
5th generation, if possible, the other version that you already have.
If you have a question regarding this guide, you need help, you found a mistake
or have advices to complete this guide, you can email me at: pommierelise (at)

Get 1,000,000 xp in one day. Use the pass power Exp. Point Power
↑↑↑ (available when your Entree is at level 16 of black) so you
your xp gained will be multiplied by 2. Then train your Pokemon
in the Hollow Tree or Black Tower in White forest or Black city
(hollow tree is better because you can find Pokémon Breeder with
Blissey that give a lot of xp). Also, note that low level
Pokémon gain more xp that high level Pokémon.
================================================================================
130 BP Wealthy Medium
Get 100 battle points. No need to have 100 at once, battle
points spent still counts. You can earn them in the battle

easy considered that the Pokémon given to you and your opponent
are random, just keep trying until you succeed.
================================================================================
136 Mix Champ Medium
Win the Mix Tournament in the Pokémon World Tournament. You
opponent take one of your Pokémon and you take one of his. You

but also your Pokémon types.
================================================================================
137 Unova Mightiest Hard
Win the Unova Leaders Tournament in the Pokémon World
Tournament. This tournament is unlocked after entering the Hall
of Fame. A good team that can cover every type is recommended.
Note that your opponent will be specialized in
normal/grass/water/fire/poison/bug/electric/ground/fly/ice or
dragon type, so a bit of every type. Normal and Water have a
higher probability though. For every Leaders Tournament I used a
team composed of Terrakium, Chandelure and Eelektross as they
can learn moves of various type.
================================================================================
138 Kanto Mightiest Hard
Win the Kanto Leaders Tournament in the Pokémon World
Tournament. This tournament is unlocked after entering the Hall
of Fame. A good team that can cover every type is recommended.

that in mind while composing your team.

or water type, so keep that in mind while composing your team.
================================================================================

Win the Sinnoh Leaders Tournament in the Pokémon World
Tournament. This tournament is unlocked after entering the Hall
of Fame. A good team that can cover every type is recommended.
Note that your opponent will be specialized in
rock/grass/fighting/water/ghost/steel/ice or electric type, so
keep that in mind while composing your team.
================================================================================
142 Mightiest Leader Hard
Win the World Leaders Tournament in the Pokémon World
Tournament. This tournament is unlocked after winning the Unova,
Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh Leaders Tournaments. You’ll fight
against every gym leader, so you need to be prepared to face any
types. If it can help, the probability to face a water user is
higher since there’s 5 of them, there’s also 4 users of electric
and normal type.
================================================================================
143 World's Mightiest Extreme
Win the Champion Tournament in the Pokémon World Tournament. You
can unlock this tournament after winning 10 times the World
Leaders tournament. Probably the hardest one, I’ve done it with
a team composed of Terrakium, Chandelure and Eelektross, though
a rain-based team in double battle could work fine.
================================================================================
144 Rental Master Hard
Win the Rental Master Tournament in the Pokémon World
Tournament. This tournament is unlocked after winning the
Driftveil, Rental, Unova Leaders, Kanto Leaders, Johto Leaders,
Hoenn Leaders, and Sinnoh Leaders Tournaments once. Your Pokémon

================================================================================
145 Mix Master Hard
Win the Mix Master Tournament in the Pokémon World Tournament.
This tournament is unlocked after winning the Driftveil, Mix,
Unova Leaders, Kanto Leaders, Johto Leaders, Hoenn Leaders, and
Sinnoh Leaders Tournaments once. As before, you will need a team
that can both coverage a large variety of type but also your
Pokémon types.
================================================================================
146 All Types Champ Extreme
Win every type tournament in the Pokémon World Tournament. This
tournament is unlocked after winning the Driftveil, Unova
Leaders, Kanto Leaders, Johto Leaders, Hoenn Leaders, and Sinnoh
Leaders Tournaments once. If you have trouble, here some tips
that may help you for each type:
- Normal: Normal type has only one weakness, so try to have
Pokémon with fighting types but also be careful of fighting
moves of your opponent.
- Grass: Abomasnow is very useful on double battle with blizzard
that is super effective against grass type and hit both opponent
in the same turn.
- Fire: Fire Pokémon that can learn rock/ground type like
Magcargo or Camerupt are quite useful.
- Water: Wash Rotom with discharge next to a water/ground type
Pokémon like Swampert or Quagsire in double battle is
destructive.
- Electric: No specific recommendation.
- Fighting: Gallade and Medicham are quite useful since they can
learn psy moves.
- Fly: Fan Rotom with discharge and Gliscor or a Pokémon with
Protect on double battle do massive amount of damages.
- Ice: Pokémon that can learn rock slide like Abomasnow or
Mamoswine are useful in double battle, Weavile also learn some
good fighting moves.
- Poison: Toxicroak or Drapion with earthquake in double battle
is useful, but it’s also a weakness of yours. So, take profit of
Gengar with levitate, the item air balloon or even protect. But
know that your opponent may also have Pokémon immune to ground
moves.
- Bug: Volcarona with heatwave in double battle is quite useful.
- Rock: Water/rock Pokémon like Carracosta with Surf or the move
earthquake is really strong in double battle.
- Ground: Water/ground type Pokémon like Swampert or Quagsire
with Surf in double battle do massive amount of damages.
- Psychic: Latias and Latios are good psychic Pokémon. Also, a
lot of psychic Pokémon can learn dark moves.
- Ghost: There’s a lot of good ghost Pokémon. A Golurk that use
earthquake on double battle next to Rotom with discharge, or a
Gengar with levitate are good options. Chandelure and Jellicent
are able to learn various good moves. Spiritomb is also great
thanks to having no weakness.
- Dark: Weavil can learn some good fighting moves, Spiritomb has
no weakness and Tyranitar/Hydeigon are great dark Pokémon.
- Dragon: Both you and your opponent use dragon types and dragon
is weak against dragon..so you’ll need really fast Pokémon. In
double battle fast Pokémon that can learn blizzard like
Dragonite or Kingdra are recommended.
- Steel: Heatran with heatwave on double battle is really
useful.

tower key from a Black 2 version. Some tips: Blissey is useful
since he can use Soft-Boiled outside of battles, and although

Pokémon so they can regain hp pass powers also works.

easily trainers. Note that the boss trainer doesn’t count as
fight, so you can fight against 4 trainers then defeat the boss
to get the medal.
================================================================================

================================================================================
237 Normal-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using normal type Pokémon.
You can use double types Pokémon (e.g. normal/flying) to get the
medal. Since you’ll have to train multiple Pokémon to have a
good team, try to focus on Pokémon with two types. Then a
Pokémon like Charizard, fire and flying type, can be used for
the medal “Fire-type champ” and “Flying-type champ”. Also, it’s
a good idea to train an Arceus, because it can have the type you
need with the correct plate. Another good Pokémon to train for
those medals is Rotom, since it can be electric, ghost, fire,
ice, grass, water and flying type.
================================================================================
238 Fire-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using fire type Pokémon.
================================================================================
239 Water-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using water type Pokémon.
================================================================================
240 Electric-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using electric type
Pokémon.
================================================================================
241 Grass-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using grass type Pokémon.
================================================================================
242 Ice-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using ice type Pokémon.
================================================================================
243 Fighting-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using fighting type
Pokémon.
================================================================================
244 Poison-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using poison type Pokémon.
================================================================================
245 Ground-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using ground type Pokémon.
================================================================================
246 Flying-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using flying type Pokémon.
================================================================================
247 Psychic-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using psychic type
Pokémon.
================================================================================
248 Bug-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using bug type Pokémon.
================================================================================
249 Rock-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using rock type Pokémon.
================================================================================
250 Ghost-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using ghost type Pokémon.
================================================================================
251 Dragon-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using dragon type Pokémon.
================================================================================
252 Dark-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using dark type Pokémon.
================================================================================
253 Steel-type Champ Medium
Beat the elite four and champion only using steel type Pokémon.
================================================================================
254 One and Only Hard
Beat the elite four and champion using only one Pokémon. It
seems hard at first glance but I didn’t had problem with this
medal, you just have to use a strong Pokémon. I’ve used a
Conkeldurr with the following moveset:
Conkeldurr @ Leftovers
Ability: Guts
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bulk Up -Mach Punch
- Drain Punch -Ice Punch
Conkeldurr has to increase its stats to the maximum at the
beginning of the battle, then use Mach Punch to quickly beat the
opponent. That was my strategy but I’m sure there’s a lot more
possibilities. Note that you can be get multiple medals at once,
if you follow the others medals instructions. For example, if
you beat the elite four and champion with only a Charizard, you
can get the medals “One and only”, “Fire-type champ” and
“Flying-type champ” at the same time.
