I know it sounds cliche, but having been playing games for 25 years, this is easily the most stunning and most heartwrenching of anything I've ever seen.

I was sceptical about how good it would be with a companion, but having gone from start to finish with the same person, I can't imagine it being as good by oneself. It truely made me care about doing whatever it took to not lose my fellow traveler. When we got seperated a couple times it was nervewracking because I had to know that they were ok and would search frantically for my other half.

Thatgamecompany has really outdone themselves with this priceless gem.

I'm actually really looking foward to replaying the game.

And I can't wait to deconstruct the story further. If just to find out what those guys in white were all about.

You haven't played many games then, and this is barely an opinion as more of fact. While pretty and a nice ride it's FAR from best game ever made, lack of content, lack of closure, lack of replay value, lack of length, etc etc etc etc. point being, it's a fun get away, but hardly best thing ever made.

Opinions, opinions, and more opinions. I've played hundreds of game on every system from atari to PS3. Just because it isn't the best game made for you, doesn't mean it isn't the best game ever made for me.

If you continue to insist that your opinion is somehow more right than another's, then I have nothing further to discuss with you.

After having played hundreds and hundreds of games over the last 27 years, I have to agree with the OP. ThatGameCompany has created the only game that I have ever felt deserved a perfect 10.

i can't agree that its the best game ever but i can definitely say that its an amazing game. PFirefly i may have played with you the name looks familiar. i couldn't memorize all 8 names at the end lol. i loved this game. and i too was unsure about the random players element but it actually works pretty dang well. i have struggled with random players on many other games before but on this one its a joy. you really do start to care about them and want to make sure they're still with you as you progress. this game is an epic win for thatgamecompany.

Lol. Quite possible indeed. I met 5 travelers my first playthrough, but I don't know which one I played most of the game with :P
