I only ever liked the original trilogy, tank controls and all. That was, until I started this game recently. I am really liking how they stuck with survivor horror (though punctuated by some action sequences). This is what RE4-7 should have been. It is a shame what happened to this series after Capcom lost its way with it, but this game redeemed it a lot.

As a striclty old-school RE tank controls fanatic, I hereby accept this game as a true RE game.

Its a good game, but RE4 is the greatest of all in my opinion.
Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil.

Revelations is actuall a hybrid game that is a mix of old school RE and the new stuff introduced with RE4.
