Disc drive quit working years ago. It's been collecting dust for at least 5 years...I actually bought another wii, but of course lost all my game files.

Told my wife I think there's a way to hack these things and get nes, snes, gamecube, and wii games on them for free.

She did all the work, followed a "how to" YouTube vid... bam! Resurrected my old wii.
Plus picked up roms for some classic games that cost an arm and a leg.

Anybody else still got their original wii?
Hacked it yet? Totally worth doing at this point.

I softmodded mine years ago. I have an external harddrive attached with about 140 Wii games and about 100 Gamecube games and about 70 N64 games on it. I might add that I have all games retail in my library.
