What the heck

I remember just a year or two ago stores had plenty of them on shelves for normal price and people sold used ones for $100 or less

Now everything selling for like $300

I thought about getting a 2DS XL since I never picked one up and it was the latest model but I guess that’ll have to wait

You can get refurbished models for a third of the price they go for online.

The high price is a combination of the 3DS being discontinued, clowns thinking they can just scalp anything video game and make a profit, and prices in general going up due to everybody staying at home during lockdown.

scalpers ruin every hobby and need to get real jobs other than buying out a consumer product just for the sole purpose of selling it for a higher price. If this was gasoline or food it would be illegal.

I understand prices going up a little once something goes out of production but the systems are nearly double their price everywhere you look, and that’s for USED systems which may have scratched screens.

Clearly scalpers have gotten involved.
