My old one works but the left analog stick fell off. There is just a tiny nub left and it’s difficult to use. It’s not worth sending it in to be fixed. Does GameStop change the parts when they sell a preowned system? I would not want to buy one that is going to break right away.

Buy a refurbished console from Nintendo's store OR better yet, their eBay store. Their eBay store has free Standard shipping. The consoles arrive in practically brand new condition. $120 for NN3DSXL, $100 for NN2DSXL, $50 for 2DS. Links below:

Afaik Gamestop doesn't do s*** to their preowned systems. They claim they're "refurbished" but they don't even clean them off. If you ask to hold a used 3DS there, use hand sanitizer afterwards.
My fake plants died because I didn't pretend to water them.

l doubt gamestop would know how to change any of the parts on their pre-owned systems without breaking them, assuming they're not already broken.

Then I will skip it. If I could fix the one I have. I’d do it but I’m not going to send it in.
