Maybe it takes place in ancient Pokemon time, where PokeBalls didn't exist and then you as a Pokemon Hunter, go out and hunt Pokemon for food and new gear
Only if you're my partner in time

Well there is already a pokemon-type Monster Hunter game for the 3DS called Monster Hunter Stories
Switch + 3DS + X1
The character limit on signatures needs to be increased.

Yes. It’s called Monster Hunter Stories. Where have you been, TC?
She was walking on a stage after the play was over. Who now could say it had ever happened?

Maybe TC wants to hunt whatever pokemon grow to the size of semi trucks and wear their skin as armor and carve their bones into dual blades.
My fake plants died because I didn't pretend to water them.

No I mean hunting pokemon, like taking a greatsword to charzards face

Using a bow & arrow to try to take down a Zapdos, things like that

You would need a projectile weapon against the poison type Pokemon. Shield and sword against fire Pokemon. I would love that game.

I'm still burnt out on Monster Hunter since Freedom Unite on PSP. I haven't been able to enjoy any new ones since.
On the other hand, I did really enjoy Monster Hunter Stories, which is kinda the opposite of what you're talking about.
As I've played only the first three Pokémon games and X, I have no real attachment to the Pokémon franchise, but a Monster Hunter Stories type game I'm more than okay with, a Monster Hunter 4 type game, no thanks. I'm over that gameplay for awhile.

En un mundo perfecto, eso definitivamente importaria.
