You'd think youtube would have something but nope.
I want to know what I'm in for because all I have is a regular 3DS XL and normal sized one and I legit don't feel like buying a New 3DS over a few games but at the same time I want the games to play to look good, framerate I don't care about that much mind you.

- Monster Hunter Stories - every video I watch on this makes it look amazing, but I don't know what it would look like on a regular 3DS
- Metroid Samus Returns - I'm waiting for it to arrive in the mail, it looks awesome...on new 3DS but I can't find footage of it on regular 3DS
- Ever Oasis - I own the game but i haven't played it yet, someone took some screens for me with a camera once and it had no bloom on regular 3DS, but id like to see it in motion
- Kirby Planet Robobot
- Link Between Worlds
- Majora's Mask
- Kirby Epic Yarn
- Yoshi's Woolly World - this i've seen on youtube and all i can see is difference in framerate but maybe there's more

and other games that escape me at the moment
I already made the mistake of buying a US 3DS and 3DS XL so my entire library HAS to be US despite me living in Europe so importing another console form the US just doesn't seem too appealing to me if the graphical differences are minor

I’m fairly certain in most cases there is no difference. And I’m honestly not sure why you would expect there to be a difference.

I think smash bros, and monster hunter generations had improved load times on the n3ds systems. And hyrule warriors had a great draw distance. But most 3ds games just don't make use of the improved hardware, so there wouldn't be a noticeable difference.
Wow I cant believe that people dont even care about what I think and ignorin me, this is just really sad.-The_Orignal

Also for the games that are improved, I think that all goes toward increasing the number of elements on screen at once (Hyrule Warriors) or improving framerate/loading times. Nothing about increasing the quality of textures/models.
That's more awkward than playing WarioWare: Smooth Moves after swallowing the Wiimote!

Why should minor graphical differences even matter when you're legally blind?

I got a N2DSXL last year to replace my OG 3DS and haven't really noticed any graphical differences. However, certain games that would cause the original models to restart upon closing (such as monster hunter stories) don't with the 'New' models.
I refuse to take anyone who uses terms like 'weeb' or 'dudebro' seriously FC: 3496-9744-9813

Depends on the type of differences
I can't see aliasing at all, but I can see lighting, pop in, character models.

For example in Quantum Break I can't tell the difference between high and ultra or even medium and ultra for most parameters at all, but in games where there's a jarring difference in colors, overlay filters, lighting, shadows and i don't just mean shadow resolution I sure can.

I may be unable to tell the difference between medium and ultra textures in some games but I can tell the difference between low and ultra for example when stuff starts looking too muddy even for me.

This restarting, is it harmful to the system? Also does that mean you can't even use the home button to check the time?
