Do you honestly like the 3D effect??

When 3DS first came out people were like
"Whoa this 3D is amazing!"

Then a few months later
"This actually gives me a headache!"

Then the 2DS came out and people were like
"3D is useless anyway!"

Then the New 3DS came out and they were like
"This new stable 3D is amazing!"

And now the New 2DS is here and people are like
"3D was always useless anyway!"

So which side are you on?

At first I thought it was kinda gimmicky. But some games do it really well. Monster Hunter 4U for instance. It really makes the world pop when the 3D is on a little ways.

I love it so much I never have it off. That doesn't mean that I turn my nose up at games that don't utilize it, but it definitely disappoints me.

Yes, I use it all the time.

I don't use it often cause of eye strain, but I do think it's cool and when it works well (like in 3D Land) it's great.

Loved it since day one on the OG 3DS.

It's pretty nifty.
I don't use it much because I have to hold the system closer to my face than is comfortable for me in order for it to work (on both original and New 3DS), but it does look pretty cool.

If there were a setting to adjust for how far I hold the system to make it work, I would probably use it a lot more.

Never liked it, almost never turn it on.

I will confess that if you do like it, the stable 3D from the N3DS is a vast improvement. I still find it distracting and it makes my eyes hurt though.
