Okay - going home from work - threads deleted all over the place ... sheesh ...

"Caught off guard. Of course lag compensation exists. Giving people with great connections the same s** experiences the people with terrible connections have been putting up with for years.

The videos that people are posting. Aww man, look how lag compensation just dicked me. That s** has always been a part of the game. You just haven’t experienced it, because your ass pulls host all the time. Deal with it or quit, no one is going to miss you."

BTW: people that take advantage of lag compensation are more likely to die around corners, because their actual true self is following far behind their gun.

What I don't get is that I never suffered from these problems in MW2 so why on earth has such a big problem come up in MW3?

Meh I'm not that bothered anyway TBH. I don't like the maps or the fact they've taken out my 2 fave weapons so after finishing with Spec Ops and the Campaign I'll be back on MW2 for MP.

The lag compensation was better handled in previous games. I never get host. I never noticed LagComp until MW3. Now it seems about a third of my deaths are a result of it. I can admit most of my deaths I am out played or out positioned. But when I'm dying to a single round from an M4 on my screen only to see 4 or more connect in the kill cam I know something is wrong.

this is true. However, in this game it's just more blatantly obvious. Like in the many videos that have been posted here and there. MW2 didn't have alot of BS even with 3 bars, this game however the BS moments will happen no matter how many bars you have.

I'll have no one in the house besides myself on the internet (w/ laptop off) and still my bullets won't hit right then and there, and I'll still have questionable deaths that happen (on my end and on the enemies end). Don't get the wrong idea now, I don't blame all my deaths on lag compensation (the majority of my games my bullets will kill). I'm positive it's going to fixed to where it's more bearable so to speak. But, @ it's current state it's just unplayable for some.

I just irks me how people will pay top dollar for there connections and still lag, that bothers me.
All systems are go! why? 'cause I say so!

If lag compensation existed in mw2 why did I never even hear the word lag compensation until mw3?
Tomorrow might be as great as yesterday, but never will the next day be as bad as tomorrow.

I'm experiencing the same things I've always experienced in CoD. Others are just now arriving to the party, it seems. Oh well.

Looks like at 1:45 you hit him - you can see the red curve thing at the top of the screen which indicates he took damage. Problem is, he took next to none, and you'd think he'd be more hurt then that since it looked like you hit him dead on.

I have that same thing happen a lot with the Striker. I come around the corner and shoot someone point blank, they run and knife me and the killcam shows them taking almost no damage from a point blank shotgun shot. It sucks, but what can ya do?
