For attack and blocking, do you use the triggers, or face buttons such as A and X?

Also, does the game let you customize the controls for the 360 controller?

Actually, I'm curious as well, can somebody post up a 360 controller control layout here? I might consider using it.
Not changing stupid username until gamefaqs gives me the option to.

for attack you press x

for block press right trigger (only works when you have vigor)

in order to roll press A

pressing Y is powerful/fierce attack

360 controller works amazingly for this game, and I prefer M/K for almost every other game.

I originally set it to a Demon's Souls layout (attack and blocking with shoulder buttons). However it also changed the interaction buttons and the quick time event buttons which was a bummer. I settled with the default control scheme and got used to it. Still works pretty well.

left trigger opens up item/spell wheel(right? how can I forget this)
Left bumper locks on
right trigger blocks
right bumper throws bomb/uses trap(whatever is selected)
Regular stick controls for camera + movement
right stick in uses amulet
a is dodge
x is attack
y is strong attack
b is use sign
back is menu
not sure if start does anything..
don't think left stick in does anything

So do you have different control layouts to choose from, or does it let you customize the layout yourself?

can you rotate the camera with the right stick? last time I used the xbox 360 controller before patch you couldn't rotate up and down only left and right with triggers.

You can customize the layout yourself. Every button can be changed.
