By the time you've done EVERYTHING, you'll have easily poured 100+ hours in.

But maybe thats just me.

I love all the equipment in this games.

Its literally the definition of loot-whoring in video games.

I just started playing Diablo 3 for the PS4 and... it's all about the gear. You only have a tiny crate to store extra items. Certainly not the magic box in Gladiator Begins that holds 500 bulky pieces of weapons and armor. In D3, you find gear that works well with your character and your attacks, getting magicians to enchant some of the unwanted stats into more desirable things, inserting different and better gems in any sockets it may have, and doing this all over when you find a better item to fiddle with.
As for the combat, it's mostly about leveling-up and selecting a better magical attack to use, and I am playing a barbarian, not a wizard.

Yeah. but in a game like Gladiator Begins, that kind of customization is not only wanted, but needed.

So that you can have your ideal weapons and armor for any battle you come across.

Yes, I much prefer GB's big box of stuff especially when you save sets to go with different characters you may play.

Exactly, thats why I wish more games had something like that.

Like Borderlands 2 would have been way more enjoyable with that much customization.

Haven't been playing lately, thinking of getting Colosseum: Road to Freedom on my PS2 though.

I've also heard of Shadow of Rome.

Boot this up once or twice every month or so. Still very early in the game and still learning.
