How do I consistently get the bonus damage where the big spikes come out of the ground for this move? This has been driving me mad for a long time and I don't understand how I manage to pull it off once every blue moon.

All timed release skills will shine white for a split second to let you know when to use it for maximum effect. Pretty easy to pull off once you get the timing down, which really isn't very strict at all.

Yep. It's not nearly as hard as that makes it sound though. The time frame for it is large enough that you shouldn't have much of a problem with it. Like I said, easy stuff.

I usually tend to let it go just as it starts, but I've used it so much it's become something of a second nature for me... >_>

Ok, I finally got it down, almost 1 hit KO'd Ieyasu. What I was doing earlier was letting go during or shorly after the flash.
