Followers missing outside the Lucky 38?

I entered the lucky 38 to go speak with Mr. House, but before I could Victor said I had to go in alone and any companions would have to wait. I replied "Alright I'll go in myself" however when I left the the Lucky 38 I could not find my companions anywhere.

When I entered it was Boone who had to wait at the door. I went in and "Disabled" Mr. House. I since then recruited ED-E, but found that when I entered the Lucky 38 it somehow managed to make ED-E disapear. No one told me he couldn't enter with me, also I didn't tell him to wait. He just seemed to fall off the face of the earth.

I reloaded a previous save so I have ED-E with me again, but now I am wondering where I can find Boone again? He isn't anywhere in The Strip, or in Novac or any place I may have a room. Where would he typically be if you told him to stop following you? Or is there anywhere I may have missed that the companions generally go when you enter the Lucky 38? Or is this just a glitch that happens when you stop working for Mr. House?

check the presidential suite in lucky 38

I checked in the Presidential suite when I had ED-E in my party looking for Boone, he wasnt in there, and when I left that trip was when ED-E went missing actually. I then went back in and neither of them were anywhere in the casino. :(

the only thing i can say is to try novac. his hotel room during the day and the dinosaur at night. wait a few days in game before hand.

Ahh, does this game have the same feature with companions as FO3 where if you leave them alone for long periods they eventually return to where you found them? I may just try waiting a couple days and seeing if the message pops up saying he went back to somewhere...

only thing im thinking of is that when you tell them to wait outside lucky 38, they stay still until you tell them to follow again. so wherever boone is, he's probably just waiting around lol

The same thing happened to me, ED-E is no where to be found. He had a lot of equipment in him too.

Boone was just chilling out side of the casino, but not ED-E.

This really sucks.
