Just letting anyone reading this know that of 2013 all of the serious in-game bugs have been worked out of Sword of Moonlight in case you are considering making a game with it.

Hundreds of other minor bugs have also been addressed. And now "analog" and mouse input works along with many more analog related features. The graphics are now of professional quality. Anisotropic filtering, and antialiasing work, along with a variety of visual effects. However the artwork that comes with SOM could still use a major polishing up campaign. If you dare there are resources for making artwork from scratch. At least one author is making a game entirely from scratch.

There is still a lot of work to be done, but it is usually a lot of work to make a game. So you might want to think about starting that at this time.

This year the focus is going to be on "airbrushing" the artwork and reproducing the graphics from scratch so SOM's games can play at smoother and higher frame rate on low-end 3D gaming PCs:

You can also make a game in any language you want. And translation is a breeze. There is even a wiki-like web way to do that collaboratively.
