I've read:

Willpower > Power > Critical > Surge

My guild master says critical is the most important after willpower. So I'm a bit confused. Also, assuming I do have my stat priority right...

I'm leveling using all orange gear. So when it comes to spending planet commendations, I'm buying Resolve armoring and mods and rage enhancements. Those fill me up with all the willpower and power I need, but should I be using a couple critical enhancements here and there as well? What else should be customizing my armor with? Thanks.

I guess it might be different as to a leveling build or an endgame build for the Sage .

Personally, I find Critical more useful. Pretty much every tree, for a Sage at least, has some talent or another that's activated by Critical Hits, or that increases Critical Hit damage. Hence, you'll benefit from those more often, the higher your chance is. At a certain point, though, you start getting diminishing returns from the stat, though I'm not sure exactly what that point is.

I go willpower > critical > surge > power on my Sorcerer.
Making guns illegal will end gun violence right? They should make murder illegal too. No more murder. They should make rape illegal! No more rape! Drugs too...

Willpower > Crit (to 37%) > Surge (to 75%) > power > alacrity (5% is a good amount)

Those aren't hard caps but more suggestions as diminishing returns will kick in. Alacrity is linear but not really a great stat. Since sage/sorcs have a willpower talent, you will always augment for willpower.

Are you heals or dps?
PVE or PVP?

Balance spec PVE
Willpower >= Power/Force Power > Crit (30%) = Surge (75%) > Alacrity

Seer spec PVE
Willpower > Crit (30%) = Surge (75%) > Power/Force Power > Alacrity

Tele spec PVE
Willpower >= Power/Force Power > Surge (75%) = Crit (30%) > Alacrity

Balance PVP
Expertise > Willpower >= Power/Force Power > Crit (30%) = Surge (75%) > Alacrity

Seer PVP
Expertise > Willpower >= Power/Force Power > Crit (30%) = Surge (75%) > Alacrity

Tele PVP
Expertise > Willpower >= Power/Force Power > Surge (75%) = Crit (30%) > Alacrity

^I would personally change all those crits to 35%. 30% is kinda low IMO.

37% is basically what I took off my pvp gear which is pretty much all elite warhero. You could play around with the mods to get more power but the damage increase will be pretty minmal. I'm sitting around 900 bonus damage and I can melt faces in PvP.
