are there any differences in this version from the xbox one ? i was thinking about picking it up for the wii.

Wii has less zombies, worse graphics, but much better gameplay. You can't jump, but they fixed the save system and it's overall just smoother playwise.

I agree that the gameplay from the Wii game is a lot more fun than the Xbox 360 version.

An even simpler way to explain it.

DR 360 - Beat'em'up with a few guns.
DR WII - Third-person Shooter with some melee weapons.

DR 360 - Stringent time limits.
DR Wii - Very laid back pacing.

There are minor differences on the side-story stuff(Cletus survives, certain bosses appear only as zombies and therefore have no dialog), but the main plot is identical.
